My first Darcy Coates book was The Haunting of Ashburn House and I absolutely loved it. It has mystery and haunting and even cosy vibes right from the beginning. Also the book is set in autumn so I think it is perfect for reading in autumn. I would recommend you start with this one when you consider reading Darcy Coates' books :)
Lots of great books! I have the Kew Garden "trilogy", and they are such lovely books just chock full of nice pictures/art - very reasonably priced too. Slewfoot is on my Fall list too, I've been meaning to read it for several years. The Botanical Daughter sounds good! Duncton Wood is one I've always wondered about how cozy it is, so looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. I have tons of gothic books on my bedside TBR for Fall, but a few I want to get to for sure are - My Darling Dreadful Thing, The Toll House, Mary or The Birth of Frankenstein and The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein. Also have some Victorian ghost stories. I'm current reading The Honey Witch, and tbh, I'm not crazy about it. The writing feels very surface level and not much depth of prose with the descriptions.

"Angels and archangels by Damian echoles " " a garden of pomegranates by Iseral regardie" Kitchen witch by Sarah Robinson " llyellens sabbath series Samhain" and "Hekate Goddess of witches by Courtney Webber" in Witchcraft books. I have heard good thing about Darcy Coates' books and have been thinking of reading them. You will have to let us know if you enjoyed them or not. @bibbidibobbidibooks Yes, I have quite a few recommendations depending on what you're interested in astrology, traditional witchcraft, wicca, high magick, etc. I have been practising ceremonial magick this year as well as working with angelic magick. I see you do like plants, so some recommendations for green witchcraft would defo be the green witches garden by arin Murphy hiscock. Also, by her would be "The green witch. "Herbal magick" by our own witchy youtube creator ,Annabell Margaret, The Green Witch." and for all the herbal correspondences in witchcraft I would definitely suggest Enclopedia of magickal herbs by Scott cunningham (OG of wicca love his books.) If there are any subjects in particular you are interested in I'm happy to give you recommendations.

The covers always draw me in. The way some people have an accent wall color to a room, I would like one wall of a room to be completely covered in book covers.

Also going to second recommending John's channel, he doesn't get nearly enough attention, he's wonderful and his mix of "travel vlog" style landscapes mixed with the booktube format is stand out! Great book recommendations! I loved the mystery, "May the Wolf Die," by Elizabeth Heider. Fast-paced, intriguing characters, and gorgeous setting.
