Faith is at the heart of our relationship with God. But our faith cannot simply be what we agree with or a mere belief. Our faith must move, act, and work. Like the early disciples, we must devote our lives to a "life of faith".

Showing mercy to someone else can have a profound effect on them. We are not supposed to sit in judgement of others because we are all sinners. However, recognize that showing kindness to one another is a gift to you because it brings light into your life as well as the person receiving your mercy/ kindness. Put as much light into this world....please!

Thank father for the homily, question are you wearing a ring on your left ring finger? I heard in some Eastern Orthodox churches that their priest wear basically wedding rings when they get ordained
I think he mentioned that it is written on it "Forever Priest" or something like that.
Fr. Mike, I couldn't understand what "Mercy" meant when I was at mass yesterday. I've been facing a very challenging time at home with unruly neighbours for years and don't think I can ever forgive them for what they've been doing all these years. I became angry with St. Faustina during the veneration of her first class relics in church yesterday and told her to fix this mess for my family. If only she were St. Anthony of Padua or St. Charbel. They truly listen and intercede unlike her. Maybe I should be asking for St. Charbel's intercession regarding this matter and not St. Faustina. I've venerated her relics twice but there's still no sign of things improving. The past 2 years of praying the Divine Mercy chaplet at 3pm every single day -- all for nothing!
I think it’s Fr. James Blount but he has a video where a couple came to him about terrible neighbors and they wanted to know why God wouldn’t help them get out of their situation. The answer was they were the only people who would pray for them…the only chance of salvation these “terrible “ people had. If you haven’t already, please pray for them. I’ll keep you in my prayers too!

Haven't prayed for them and I think you might be right about this... they are Buddhists though. I really don't feel like praying for people who purposely make life difficult for my family. Honestly speaking, it's a miracle that I have dealt with their rudeness and profanity for so long without taking matters into my own hands.
Sorry if I sounded disrespectful to St. Faustina. It's just that after what these neighbours have done to us and my praying the divine mercy chaplet for the past 2 years, I strongly feel that the chaplet is a waste of time.
I know I've to work on the forgiveness part, but it won't be easy. God bless.🙏
I’m sorry you’ve to deal with inconsiderate neighbors. It sounds like a lot! When I’m faced with impossible situations, I usually go to Jesus through Mary. I remember that at the foot of the cross, Jesus Christ was so generous to share His mom with John( John 19: 26 - 27) I personalize this experience. I ask her to fill me with her Grace( she’s full of Grace). Ask Mother Mary to intercede on your behalf before the Father pertaining to this situation that disquiets your heart. Remember the wedding at Cana (John 1 : 1 - 11 ) . In this passage, we see that even though, it wasn’t yet time for our Lord Jesus Christ to perform miracles, He listened to the intercession of our Lady Mary on behalf of the couple and turned water into wine. Meditate on Luke 1: 36 - 37 & Jeremiah 32:27 .
