Cimatron CAM-3X - Profile | Cimatron 2025

Profile toolpath now supports four Approach/Retract extension options- None, Line, Arc, Natural. To avoid entering and exiting a profile at the same point, and risking leaving a tool mark at that location an Extension is used. A new fourth extension type has been added. The enhanced Extensions are None, Line, Arc, Natural for tool Approach and Retract. The image depicts an inner profile with the new Natural extension coupled with the Arc Approach/Retract.
