Holy crap. That mechanism must have taken forever to perfect. Absolutely outstanding
process video just got uploaded!
2:20 Yellow is desperately going for employee of the month
XD
Keira Knightley 😊💙
Awesome as always... Throne of GBC master is still yours.
OH MY GOSH, how do they work?!!?!?!?!
A cleverly used differential, I guess.
M A G I C
Holding the ball "jams" the axle driving the head nodding. That allows power to raise and turn the lifter. Then it looks like an off center gear is used to engage a gear rotating the opposite direction which opens the grip, keeps the head back and spins the lifter around to the home position.
Differentials and clever gearing

This is insane.
How do they work? Can we get a tear-down?
There's a link in the description with full plans. Be sure to click on English (top right)
Wow. Amazing as always!
OMG THEY ARE SO CUTEE! Looks like mini dancing robots haha

Very cool new lift mechanism!
Indeed!
one of your very best ever!
It is so cute!!! It is a genus mechanism as well, great idea!
Best Module Ever, thanks Akiyuki!
Well, he did it _again._ This guy just gushes with mechanical ingenuity and matery; of *COURSE* he's Japanese.
I love these. That's the sort of mechanical ingenuity you found in machines a hundred years ago.
Sooo cute! I'm so proud of these lil grabbers
When the madman pulls three of them
That is amazing, interesting use of parts too. The modules you make are always brilliant!
And its all powered by ONE MOTOR? Black Magic
Pf?
Can you make the instructions of this machine please 😍🙏
this is the best youtube channel :D it's awesome how it only spins if it grabs a ball
sick
Totally amazing !! I m just speechless about your creativity !
This module is in my opinion in your top5 GBC masterpieces! Robots moves are so cool. I m in a hurry to reproduce it
Explain?!?!
Gripping the ball jams the axel that drives the head nodding and gripper, letting a differential transfer power to do the rest.
Great mechanism!
Martians from Sesame Street anyone?
Why does the yellow works 1000 times more than the red ?
It is so cute 😂
Technical and cute, amazing !
Cute and cool.
Absolute amazing as always! Thank you for sharing your fantastic creations!
Yes sir, another fantastic build, awesome
That crazy cool 😱😍😎😁👍
Can you please do a Lego GBC Lay-out again
Just wow !
Lov the New vid!! How long did it take you to make this module?
It takes less than 1 hours to complete
@@dinhtuan752 I doubt that lol. Maybe just for the programming, but timing, building, optimising, making it look nice. Takes longer than 60 mins you ask me.
Can you make me one I live in 46 navaction close
👀
amazing
This terrifies and amazes me.
THE LEGEND
Nice idea 😀
Reminds me of a differential
Jaw dropping! 😮
How do you think of it😣🤔
Amazing. So simple yet so brilliant. (As always.)
This is epic and cute
OMG they have mouth!
Is ballora worker
This is an amazing build not only as a GBC module , but in its self as well, congratulations and keep the good work up!
2:30 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Genius!
Reminds me of the Futurama robot Roberto: futurama.fandom.com/wiki/Roberto
Absolutely brilliantly designed!
This man just made an if statement....out of fuckin legos...this guy is amazing!
こういうロボット将来ボール製造工場?でありそうw
もちろん開発者はあなたですw
I assume these use a differential for the logic? Since they are purely mechanical, I can't think how else the robots would default to trying to grab and then only spinning once they find a ball otherwise.
I assume the small difference between grabbed and ungrabbed state is enough for a gear to catch, thus driving the rest of the motion.
It would be great if they were staggered or if they turned opposite directions. Maybe a spinning robot 2.0?
Those bots are so graceful, like little awkward ballerinas.
The robots are so cute and the machanism level over 9000, but my personal disorder want the left robot turn into the opposite direction to work like a mirror.
Hi, I would like to buy the instructions, sadly the link on your site doesn't work for me. I there another way to send you the money?
Yellow Robot: [drops ball] WHAT AM I, WHAT IS LIFE?!?
おー、これはすごいですね~
Wow.. Ok, so, how the hell does he sensor if he has a ball? Is it all mechanic or like an infrared / light sensor?
I've been a secret admirer of you work for years, but this, this......MIND BLOWN.
Scribbling my comment for future generations. I was there when that video was posted!
Anybody any recommendations where I buy my parts for these designs? I'm from the Netherlands. Thanks.
Another amazing build!
Recently become obssessed with Lego Contraptions, And I guess this just popped up in my recommended so I guess you earned yourself a subscriber this is awesome Hope I get to see it in a future GBC Video :D
Why is this in my recommendation page
Same mechanism as the "lifter triggered by a stuck ball"
Another great creation form the king of GBC.
2:30 Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha *inhales* hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hilarious!
The red a yellow things are cute
Very interesting way to automate without EV3 or NXT
Interesting mechanism; it seems to operate on the same basic principles as your "Lifter triggered by a stuck ball".
I’ve finally finished building my copy of this (with Akiyuki’s instructions and a few BrickLink orders). I love it! Next: Hockey Stick Lift!
Super cool and cute! Can you try making the right one turn the other way. Now it is less efficient unloading the balls since it goes against gravity
I still don’t understand how the robots know the ball is in their hands
You can divide the container and see which automaton will win by catching more balls than the other...... amazing MOC
Do they really need heads, or eyes, no.
The first time I saw this, I just paused and stared. Looping this part of the video, wondering who made such a beautiful thing exibiting such a mastery yes possessing a child's heart. All the while smiling, completely charmed. Great work!
How much do you have to feed them?
You are a brilliant mind!
its funny that they look happy when they turn around.
Wow! That is a really cool creation. Thumbs up 👍
How do they know when to spin?
Another fabulous GBC module from the master of LEGO engineering! [rushes off to look at the instructions] 👏👏👏
How do you make these?
Very cool but i think they would look even cooler if you'd be able to desyncronize them, make them move half a loop out of phase
Awesome work, as always with you. Thank you to amaze us with such a mecanical perfection
Definitely my favourite GBC module. Beautifully designed, mesmerising to watch and the personality captured in the little robots is amazing!
One of your best in my mind. Very creative and innovative. What is the purpose of the small linear actuators in the bottom?
To lift the balls to the robots, and the middle one is to divide them into 2 groups, one for each robot
@@michaelfinlay1412 no i mean the 92693 actuators
This is so good, even the robots are clapping for you!
ILL BUY ONE A DEES
Really impressive ! What a great module :)
2:28 Overspeed пыстро 😂😹
It's incredible how uniform this mechanism is!! An absolute work of art.
Amazing! I'm guessing it detects when the arms don't retract all the way, then it flips. Genius design, I like when they are out of sync because it shows how each robot it independent.
