Was there last weekend ( June 7th to the 11th ) not as crowded as i would like it, being the first weekend and all, but still and awesome time!! Wish I was back there right now!! I don't know but it seemed like a very lame event and it gets more that way as time goes on. Most folk walk around like zombies looking at stuff they have no clue about. I went for the first time in 4 years last Thursday and Saturday. It was alright enough. I rode my load FXLRS through the boulevard, parked it, bought a $20 meal combo(Italian sausage sub and a coke). The thing is this: I only live 6 miles from it and I could almost care less. Yet, people come from hundreds of miles away to attend. The majority of them don't even ride here, they trailer or rent bikes. This event and maybe most other events are getting old enough to die IMO. Sad but true. Those people are not bikers...they're spectators. I'd really like to see the focus refocused on motorcycle racing...not the gypsy vendor crap.
So, is there biker stuff to do/see like drag racing, keg parties, slow race etc. Or is it all food trucks and t-shirt stands? Not trying to be a wise ass I've never been.
No drag racing track , expensive tickets to see racing at the speedway during designated times , it's basically a massive trade show wherever u go with someone trying to sell u something . However their is cool entries for free into the large tent , concerts , midget wrestling , bikini , hot leg contests , biker build offs , and massive riding back roads , free demo rides etc . U should go
