Beautiful playing and excellent video quality. I just got this exact guitar last night. I'm blown away. The quality is unlike anything I've ever experienced and it is insanely versatile. Thanks for sharing and hope you are still loving it.
@@HamidShibataBennett Glad to hear it. You make it sing. I actually have a tendency to play something for a short period of time and then set it free. I discovered a PRS S2 satin 24 (the bare boned US versions) and it just fit me better (for now). Could not keep both. So glad I was able to try the Double Agent for a short time. Be well.
Is the fretboard a diffrrent piece of wood because theres no skunk stripe to put in the truss rod? I.E. is the fretboard like a different shade? And can you tell when looking down at the neck while playing? Thanks
Hamid Shibata Bennett 💯🔥 I have a few Revs. Including a Charger with Alinco Grande Bridge and Nuevo 90 Neck Railhammers. It’s a beast. My Sensei is also setup with a Bucker/90. Def my fav PU configuration. You won’t find a better guitar for the money. Revs are the best
Nice vid Hamid. I bought 4 Reverend guitars in the last 2 years, but I sold my Double Agent W not long ago, mostly because I prefer the Charger body style a lot more (like your OG) and I found a used Gibson SG with P90s that has something I sure wish Reverend would offer... a vintage neck profile. I find Reverend necks a tad too narrow and shallow, but they are well done for what they are. My most recent Reverend is a Flatroc bought used on Reverb for an insanely low price because of the fret wear... when I got it, it looked almost brand new except for excessive wear at 5-7th fret area. I'm thinking the previous owner was in a serious A minor blues pentatonic rut... ;-) I spent about $150 on fret work and pro setup, and holy cow, that cheap guitar is one of the best axes in my collection now. My point is, don't be afraid to get your next Reverend used. I could see myself getting a Charger 290 (I really like the limited ed goldtop) or a Buckshot. The Revtron pickup is really great. You like that P90? You'll love the Revtron. BTW, production value on your vid is aces... wish I had the time/gear to do that. Some day... Signing out and back to the woodshed now.
Thanks Ivor! Sounds like you've got a nice, growing collection of Reverends. I've only played two so far, and they both came home. Doh! They are of superb build quality and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used guitar if one came my way. The Revtron is an amazing pickup.... have two in my Warhawk RT. Something about a low output humbucker that inspires. This is my first P90 in the Double Agent OG... I am really digging it's character. Thanks for tuning in!
Nicely done demo, Hamid.
Thanks kindly, Chuck!

Thanks kindly… yes, still a source of joy! Sweet! You still enjoying it too?

@@lesharrison3739 congrats on the PRS! Really can’t go wrong with any of their guitars. Happy playing to you!
Nicely played!
Thanks kindly!
I'll be stopping at Portland Music in Beaverton soon to check out their Revs as well as the Fender Strat PRO II. Thanks for your video.
Did you come home with a new guitar?!
Hamid I think I’m convinced this is my next guitar for my collection. Lucky number 15
Brett... the Double Agent has become my go to. I love my Reverends! Go for it!
wow, your intro track inspired me to practice... im in a bit of a tough guitar situation now, where a lot of practice feels like a chore
Thank you for the video Hamid! Great information.
Thanks for watching, Joe!
Just got one in Venetian Gold. I use this more than my Fender Jag these days. Fantastic and versatile guitar.
I reckon it's my most played guitar these days. It's fab! Congrats on your new Reverend!
Great. Keep publishing.
Will do George! Thanks for the encouragement!

The Rev Double Agent is one of the most versatile guitars out there
10 South Productions I concur... a P90 and a humbucker make for a diverse tone palette. Amongst the finest guitars I’ve played.

Hamid. Nice guitar tone. I'd be interested in your pedal settings for the first part of the video.
Thanks, J! Check out the video at the 1:07 mark. There's a closeup of the pedals. ruclips.net/video/lX9AGsrUKiQ/видео.html
