    She is my mother and I've never felt that kind of love. She will directly impose herself upon you and the result is dramatic but always positive and permanent. You must be strong to deal with her but her return is greater than any other.

      @Cosmic Tuxedo they are when similar archetypes, stories, entities, and related phenomena appear all around the world, in different cultures and regions of the world. You only say this because you want everything to fit within your materialistic dogmatic worldview. You try to explain everything away in terms of the material world, even when you can't. Even concepts with a seemingly supernatural nature, like shared hallucinations, and other phenomena like mass psychogenic illnesses, you attempt to explain away within terms that your limited human mind can understand.

    • @righteyeblind23666

      @Cosmic Tuxedo so, if you don't believe in any of it, I challenge you to experiment with the occult sciences. See where it goes. I know you won't, because atheists don't actually care about what's true, they care about putting on a facade of being rational and intelligent.

    • @nabarun83
      @nabarun83 7 лет назад +27

      MWcrazyhorse Fat Cat Hinduism has 3 schools of belief. There are the Vaishnavites who believe that Vishnu or Krishna is the Supreme God. The Shivaites give the same title to Shiv.
      The 3rd school ie the Shaktas believe that the Devi is the Ultimate Being. In fact, she is even called Adi Parashakti or Adi Param Shakti ( Adi - Primordial ; Param - Supreme; Shakti - Energy ). It is this energy from which the universe (purush or God) was created. All the individual souls (energies) go and unite with the Parashakti ( the energy of the universe ).
      Vishnu ( The Preserver ) is powerless without Mahalakshmi ( The Goddess of Wealth ) for he cannot preserve a thing without money. Brahma ( The Creator ) cannot create without Saraswati ( The Goddess of Knowledge ) - he needs knowledge of how stuff works to create. Shiva ( the Destroyer ) cannot destroy without his wife Parvati ( Goddess of Power, Valor, Time, Death, War ) - for he needs most of these to destroy. There's a saying that Shiv is Shav ( corpse ) without his Shakti ( energy ).
      So basicallt Shaktas worship the primordial energy as the raw feminine force. She is pretty yet dangerous if rubbed the wrong way. She is nature, she is untamed, she is the unsatisfied sex, the never ending lust - for truth be told no one can please a woman sexually. the more you give, the more she wants. she is all powerful. she chooses her mate through natural selection. the best survives while the rest perish. she is cruel but that's her law. She is powerful.
      since the insignificant males try to dominate her she keeps her foot on them (KAALI ). As the society imposes strict rules on natural things like violence, sex and etc she (kaali) shows her tongue in disregard and disobedience of stupid social norms.
      Being a feminist and atheist i love the Devi - i DO NOT worship her. I just think that she's really cool!

      “They enter darkness those who worship natural things.They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti (created things)" (Yajurved 40:9)
      "God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape" (Yajurved chapter 32 verse 3)
      “Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires they worship demigods i.e. idols." (Bhagavad Gita 7:20)
      Those whose minds are distorted by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own nature.
      "The ignorant believe that un-manifest Para Brahma (One God) incarnates or takes manifestations, because they do not completely understand My highest, immutable, incomparable, and transcendental existence." (Bhagavad Gita 7:24)
      "God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape" (Yajurved chapter 32 verse 3)

      @dwij23 4 года назад +1

      @Jazzmir Serrano Hinduism is divided into three form of practices 1. Karma yog( through action) 2. Gyan yog( through acquiring knowledge) 2.bhakti yog( through devotion/ worship). Feel free to choose any one that suits you. Main purpose of worship is invoking devotion and nothing else. But you always remember that without knowledge and action, devotion is futile; without action and devotion , knowledge alone is unfruitful; without knowledge and devotion , action can be devastating. And in Hinduism these deities are highly symbolic , so try to see beyond the literal meanings. Every religions has an orthodox approach, try not to stuck in that.🙏

    The essence of Kaali is the all powerful and all pervading TIME (kaal means time).. She is both Time as well as Timelessness - this is the prime symbolism in our culture. Her representation is, therefore, without attires. Many overlapping narratives and interpretations were formed subsequently. Unfortunately most people/presentations only focus on the physical form.

    To all Hindu people, I don't know who constructed this video. But this is a VERY weird explanation. I hope you all already know that every aspect of manifest energy in this world we term as devi. Like wealth is a devi, knowledge is a devi, creation is a devi and death is also a devi, like that lust is also a devi, anger is also a devi, mukti is a devi, disease is also a devi. etc. And many of the Shiva shakti stories tell us , through stories, how to awaken every chakra, and when kundalini shakti passes through each chakra, the obstacles we may face( asuri prabritty or demon nature) and how to overcome them ( depicted dialectically in howthe goddess slays the demons).
    And I think every Hindu person knows that, by shiva we mean the supreme unchanging consciousness and shakti is the everchanging reality/nature/ everything manifest. This kali i.e. shakti standing on shiva is only meant to depict that, if we could separate shakti from shiva, which is not possible, as they are only two aspects of the same reality, We will find the perfectly still unchanging consciousness(shiva). Which is the goal of every yogi. That is why it's said that kali will lead us to shiva. See if she removes herself from the yogi's consciosness, then all the struggle of calming your mind etc disappears. This again only means that you raise your consciousness to higher levels through making the mind one pointed through devotion to the goddess or raise your kundalini untill you reach the suppreme consciousness.
    I know, many people have heard the term "digambar" in many of the chants of shiva. That means having all the Dikas or directions as clothes. This is a dialectical explanation. It denotes someone who has gone above all dualities. If one has the experience that all the universe , all life in it are all a part of them then who do you dress up for? There is no cold or warmth as that is just like the normal temperature of your body in your experience. There is no one to be shy of , cause a realised being feels that every consciosness is part of there consciousness.This doesn't mean that realised people go around naked all the time. But this "digambar" means to indicate a realised being above all dualities and when we make an idol, this attribute is depicted as the deity being naked.
    Anyone who dose pranayama will know that, having your tongue out, and breathing heavily, is a superficial description of a breathing technique called shitali which is said to give a cooling effect. We know the story where maa Kali, while killing demons looses control over her anger and to stop her, Shive her husband lies down in front of her. She steps on him and sticks out her tongue as an acknowledgement of her mistake and calms down. This story teaches that Maa Kali or kundalini shakti in it's rajasic form is invoked to "slay" the demons of negative thoughts that arise within us. Kali loosing control means and excess of rajasic energy or heat. This can be controlled by remembering the ever still reality that is shiva and plus some pranayam and other techniques.
    I can give explanations for others too, but it's getting too long.
    Taking these stories literally, without understanding the context, will result in to these kinds of videos. It's fine that some people are trying to understand our culture, though it doesn't seem like they are getting anywhere, but please don't teach these to your children as explanation of any vedic ideology. If I didn't know how to interpret these stories and heard this explanation first, I would think the sanatan dharma was based on some delusions rather than the experience of yogies and rhishis. So be careful.

      funk: India and the USA are both Democracies with freedom of religion. Both have vast religious diversity, but India even more so because it is much older. Both have fundamentalist right-wing factions who would like to make their particular interpretation of their religion the basis for secular law. This Arises not only among Hindus and Christians, but also among Muslims, Jews, and even Buddhists. Clearly, the problem is not with the teachings of the religions, but with the way people use them. Atheists can use their political ideologies in pretty much the same way, by observing them as texts that are absolutely right and can not be modified to fit changing conditions and understanding.

    I am a 40 year old white guy. Left my church after officially joining, with permission of the pastor, I was going to find the truth Jesus was trying to explain before it became twisted into fear. I was 15. I found out about the chakras through a cartoon. Then a book just happened to show up in the bible belt in 2004. Unbelievable, I read this book cover to cover b multiple times, honestly this book made 3 ever to be read cover to cover only once. I was called out by what was referred to as the gate keeper of the heart, Kakini/Bhuvaneshvari. The second name I am to ignorant to try to enunciate this name so I kinda always felt bad, about 2 years ago I was licked in the face by Kali. I had just started a 5/10 minute meditation to center my breathe and mind into my heart before going to work at a job I hated. 2nd breathe in a tongue, no blood licks my face from chin to forehead, my mind says "Kali?" Then 2 huge eyes, and a huge warming smile, like a bear huge to the soul. I swear she's my mother, I only say that from what has transpired since then, especially this past week.

    I've had a loving relationship with Goddess Kali since 1998 through automatic writing. She is like a mother to me. Although she has tried to harm me many times when I was younger, I have forgiven her and now she is my personal protectress. She dispatched a former friend who put a death spell on me when I was in my early twenties in 1992. My former friend died of a heroin overdose in 1996. How is it that she appeared to ME????? I love my story of how she did. I first heard about her on a tarot reader that the most high led me to. So I was at least open-minded to her and the first place. And my Creator was asking me to return to sender I was not acquainted with how to do any of that and I wasn't doing very well at it. And then I randomly saw a car tag and I knew instinctly for sure something good was going to happen on 8/16. And even my psychic friend confirmed it to certain degree. And I went to stay at a hotel and he front desk gal I kind of told her what was going on black magic death curses and she said would you like me to read your tarot and I said are you kidding me for free and in person and she whips out a deck titled KALI. !!!!! And that happened on 8/16 gosh she's so clever. And she has come back to me again just recently and I'm so grateful. I just was not aware how important it is to avoid eating meat for as long as she tells you to. Rather until the jobs are down that she signed up for me. She is my caring mother
    And she communicated to me through another driver's license sign that she was doing the same thing for my precious daughter she says I win for you.

      Don’t call it mythology? Does calling it mythology make it less important or valid? To me, not calling it mythology takes away the whole purpose behind it.
      What was disrespectful here?

      fresh edits harm done by misinterpretations . Person who don’t have practically cultural background of these rituals and traditions cannot understand the core of these cultures as they are already influenced by another culture / thoughts . They will have to first unlearn their cultural
      And religious background to understand the ways of dharma.

      fresh edits Translations are part of the problem, as English or western languages are not compatible with eastern spiritual philosophical terms . But the main problem is how the person understands and interprets it , here his own cultural thoughts ( background )will be a huge influence. Especially his own religious traditions. Especially if he has a Abrahmic faith background then understanding eastern philosophy will be a little confusing.

      Ali Raza to calm down Kaali's dance, Shiva (her husband) laid down and Kaali accidentally stepped on him amd felt embarassed. So she cooled down and returned to her peaceful form. This is a version of the purans....

      +Ali Raza maa Kali is the shakti or energy of Lord Shiva when she decides reveal herself to kill evil she comes out of shiva's.. so that portrait of kali symbolises that Shiva without Kali is shava(a dead corpse)

      Kali has many names. Believe what you want, but in the end, she will reveal to you what she wants you to know. And at times, she will reveal herself in the most obvious form, in front of you, and even the most devoted worshippers would question her claim. Kali is the divine of the divine.
