Angel’s happiness isn’t sexual. It’s about Buffy. When they slept together, he didn’t turn even at the moment of orgasm. He turned evil after the act, asleep in her arms, as content as he’s ever been on his life. The sex made them both forget for a moment the darkness on their life, but it was just the vehicle by which they reached inner contentment. Angel turned because in that moment he forgot his pain. The danger in them being together isn’t about the sex. Honestly, the idea that either of them would “lose themselves” in the moment to the point that they’d have sex again is ridiculous. Ppl were tortured and murdered. The danger in them being together is in Angel ever forgetting his pain and his guilt for a moment and being happy. Sex was just the thing that helped accomplish that in that episode.
Thank you! I really disliked how they always tied it back to sex in dialogue. Even Angel's own show wasn't much better about how it actually worked, and I feel like that cheapens it.
Thank you for pointing this out. I feel like this is one of the most common misconceptions in this fandom, and I don't understand why people think this. They've explained explicitly multiple times that it's true happiness that makes him lose his soul, not sex. Yet people throughout the fandom still misunderstand this. Do people think sex is happiness, or something?
I was looking for this comment or I was gonna type it myself
@@micahnieman673 Well, there is the way it is handled in each show. It's spoken about many, many times as just the sexual act itself that causes it. I honestly didn't think any differently until the show Angel. Even then, I thought it was a retcon because it would be unsustainable for a long running show. But eventually I realized it's a gag that runs thru the two gangs friendship. It's a juvenile understanding at first but they all grow up but they still rib him as long standing close friendships do. Whedon does it in Avengers Age of Ultron when Captain America says "Language" and everyone takes a shot at him the whole movie.
My fan theory is that the Mayor had a daughter once upon a time, maybe one who died of a disease that could have been prevented by better hygiene or cleanliness, and so he's genuinely pleased to have a kid again.
Yeah, he truly has a father’s love for faith and other than being homicidal, it is completely platonic.
That would be awesome to get a Mayor backstory. Like maybe he was just a mortal long ago (maybe like a Roanoke or Atlantis even though Joss does touch on that) & had started dabbling in the mystic arts to find a cure for his daughter but became "cursed" with near immortality instead....like his daughter was supposed to be able to live forever (aside from getting hit by a car or something) but it was him instead. And since he could live forever he became delusional and obsessed with more & more power.
Added to my list of favorite fan theories!
I think he never had a kid because it would complicate his "pretending to be my own grandson" scheme, but he always wanted kids.
Yeah, he was actually a family man. I do think that he lost a daughter also.
This episode has my favorite Oz moment. Enough talk. Smash smash. Let’s go save my girlfriend.
Yeah you don't get to see Oz lose his cool very often.
@@celticson It’s especially shocking that time he does it in Season 4 because that's like the first time he raises his volume in anger.
Oz is all bite & no bark.
This was the first episode of the Buffster I ever saw, was hooked immediately, I had just seen Cruel Intentions and came to the conclusion I needed more SMG in my life.
See, choices… and you made a good one 😁
LOL everyone could use more SMG in their lives. Shit, I wish I could remember what episode caught my attention. I don't think I was a real-time watcher until like season 4. But I think I just started from the beginning cause I was living in Istanbul & so I was watching anything I could find that was in English.
@@jimmygreer2140 I started with 2x01 and was instantly hooked
@@joeypotter6051 I was hooked by 1x03. Once I saw that this universe was more than vampires I was all-in on it. Feel like it would've been really 1 note had it been all vampires. Especially since I feel like at that moment in time there was a little vampire fatigue.
We had the Blade movies, Interview with a Vampire, Bram Stoker's Dracula, From Dusk Till Dawn, Vampire in Brooklyn, Dracula Dead & Loving It, and countless other horrible B rated movies including the Buffy movie or Vamprella.
But the series, for better or worse, did inspire stuff like Underworld & Twilight.
😂😂 the way Surajs head wipped around when Rana said to kill Faith.
No idea why people keep reading sexual undertones into the Mayor Faith relationship. It's clearly a father daughter dynamic albeit a twisted one. I think/hope that will become even more clear in upcoming episodes.
Well she does refer to him as sugar daddy one time but yeah there's nothing from his side.
@@Ejay669 Exactly she takes it that direction one time semi serious semi a joke and then it's strictly a father daughter dynamic. Weird that people interpret it otherwise.
@@alex.9398 Because them having an evil partnership that is genuinely kind of a father-daughter found relationship is weird. You have to ignore red flags, note that he seems to be acting with sincere concern for her (which is an odd direction to take a villain - granted, he's an odd villain anyway), and I think be willing to view their relationship sympathetically. I think it can be a lot to ask of the audience on first viewing, which is what makes it so interesting.
I agree with all this but there's just no sexual undertones to any of this. She flirts with him for a second and he shuts that down so I find it weird people keep reading that into it. @@davidm1926
They sound like southern moms
the closer we get to the end of season 3 the more I'm excited for you all to start Angel! there is so much set up for Angel in these episodes and I can't wait for you all to experience it! And Angel and Buffy got back together after the Amends episode, I think.
I don't love this episode, but your alls reaction to the spiders was amazing, lol. Also, Angel's curse is not a sex curse lol. Experiencing pure happiness is very rare.
Regarding the discussion to 3x19 reaction--- when Angel came back Buffy and Angel both were like "Oh we're just friends" for a little while and they never had an official "We are back together" discussion (not on screen, anyway) but simply by spending time together and being in love with each other they basically are back together.
Also Buffy and Angel never officially broke up, really- he just turned into Angelus lol
I think the turning point was Amends when the magic snow made them get back together.
Well she also impaled him with a sword, in my book that counts at least as a break up! ;)
I love the Willow - Buffy friendship and this episode has some great moments showing why. Willow replaying the fight she had with Faith ("And I said, 'You made your choice! Buffy was your friend'!" LOL), and their discussion about what to do after graduation... lovely. Also a great example of writing where the conversation between two girls doesn't have to be about a guy in some way. It's good stuff and it shows their care for one another. And mochas. "Yes, please!" 😋😄😉
Faith is so interesting, like she’s goes pretty dark in this arch, but you can tell she’s not used to being loved and the Mayor is bring down her defenses and making her feel again, it’s very complex and nuanced.
And he truly wants what he thinks is best for her and is committed to protecting her and making her happy.
@@daphneglasurus7886 Exactly, and he's a pretty evil dude but really cares for her like a father. So to see them both bring out each hearts when there both pretty dark is really intresesting
@@bensneb360 their bond is also the reason what happens in the finale happens…
Faith is such a psychologically complete character. It's a heck of a story arc, and while I'm not saying it's coming from a healthy place, her motivations do make sense and are internally consistent if you take the time to try to understand her. She's not just a canned evil psycho villain. And I have to give all kinds of props to Eliza Dushku, because it's her ability to undercut herself that gives Faith her depth. We know when Faith is fronting and talking mad crap she doesn't really believe or understand. We see her vulnerability when Faith is trying to be strong. And I love her relationship with the Mayor. It's this very genuine and almost innocent father / daughter bond, except... he's evil and she's killing people.
@@agnawkneemoose6373 Her character and her relationship with the Mayor is one of the best arcs and most nuanced storylines the show ever did.
Angel is a great show. I can't remember if you've said you are going to react to it, but I hope you do.
Confirmed to react but they had a Patreon vote whether Buffy & Angel would alternate weeks (thereby slowing the release of each) or whether Angel would be Patreon only. Last I saw Patreon only was winning.
@@Kris-wp3fm it's unfair. Everybody Dont have patreon
There shouldn't just react, they should do so concurrently. Follow the timeline. Saying react to eat could imply after Buffy, it just wouldn't be right.
@@biocapsule7311 I assumed patreon only means they watch them concurrently, but only put out Angel as a full length on Patreon.
They are, but it's going to be only a Patreon uncut type of thing. It's kind of annoying. I mean, I get it. Their editors are likely very swamped and can't be editing another 42 minute show down to 10. But I feel like they are doing too much anime stuff that it makes no room for quality live action things.
There is just a LOT of great live action that they just aren't doing. I'm surprised that they've been able to take on Ted Lasso. But there's still Umbrella Academy, Sandman, Narcos/Narcos Mexico, The Last Kingdom, Yellowstone, SOA/Mayans MC, etc etc etc.
I especially feel that they ABSOLUTELY NEED to react to Sandman. My god, that is such an amazing series. I think it's episode 4 that is one of the deepest episodes of TV that I've possibly EVER seen. Such a incredibly done episode about one of the deepest topics that humanity can deal with. I think I'm gonna go watch that episode right now cause I wanna have a good cry.
And I love how it ties into the next episode about the guy who was "blessed" with eternal life and seeing how he deals with eternal life. Ugh, and then there's the diner episode....FUUUUUUUUCK that series is just so fucking good. I'm so happy that Neil Gaiman was so particular to who he sold the TV rights to & that his story could come to life.
It's about TRUE emotional happiness, not just physical enjoyment.
My absolute favorite single moment in all of Buffy is in next week's episode. I'm so excited we finally got there!
My favorite moment is in 2 episodes I think. Where they come up with the new student award. Everything about that scene is just so freakin perfect. Even the choice of song...Wild Horses. Obviously there's the love song element to that. But they also chose to use the verse where it says "Faith has been broken...." and yeah, that happens.
And as a musician and a lover of film....I am just a sucker for songs that work on several different levels to the story of a show or movie.
@@jimmygreer2140 That IS the next episode.
@@davidmernick7360 it is? For some reason I was thinking the thing with Faith & Angel happened before Prom. That Angel got his taste & was the reason he figured not going to the dance was for the best.
But it's been many years since I've watched Buffy.
As several others have pointed out, the Mayor had no sexual interest in Faith. She uses sexuality as a weapon, but he rebuffed her the one time she flirted with him. The mayor is very much the old-model sitcom dad, like Mike Brady or Ward Cleaver... except evil. I think not having experienced those types of shows leads to missing the homage.
The happiness is like feeling a sense of forgiveness, that moment of happiness means someone loves him and he doesn't think of his guilt and murder crimes. The curse is supposed to make him feel guilty at all times.
With high school shows, I always found it unrealistic that the brain one always ends up at the same college/university as the people that never took it as seriously. But Willow’s surprisingly made sense to me.
I think Buffy and Angel’s manner and expressions showed that what the Mayor said truly did affect them deeply, and in their hearts they know “what’s on the horizon” for them..especially how the shot lingered on their concerned faces..
LOL you know the series is good when the Normies have a full couch every time.
Mark 13:00. Serendipity! Yesterday, I went to the 02:00 PM matinee to see, "John Wick 4"! So such a reference makes more sense to me now, though I haven't seen the first three movies yet. Somebody got a hand stabbed with a, pencil! 😁
Wtf Mickey, why you looking so clean???
I like it in the Buffy/Angel universe when a bad guy delivers some devastating truth, it's always the most damaging thing they could do. I hope you guys are planning on reacting to Angel, it's a great series! Chris' question about working around the "moment of happiness" reminds me of the UK series MISFITS. The characters Alisha & Curtis did something very similar to Chris' suggestion. I think the reason Angelis didn't build up wealth was because he and Darla were too driven by chaos and terror.
With Angel it's not just a moment of happiness, It has to be pure happiness and contentment. He has to be at peace with his life for one single moment that for the curse to be lifted, and a soul rejected.
5:38 I love how everyone looks at Rana like “The f@#k?!” but then immediately hit the Alonzo Mourning GIF 😂😂🤣😂🤣
Angel needs to feel pure emotional joy to turn into Angelus, not simple happiness. Cordelia was accepted into multiple universities. Love Buffy's casual cheerfulness when she asks "What's in the box ?".
i LOVE how at this point, when rana was like "kill faith!" everyone else was just like... eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lmaoooo
I was half-watching, half-listening to this reaction while finishing my work, and no kidding, when the principal said, "Sit up straight" to a couple students, I didn't even think about it, I just sat up straighter! 😆🤣
Memorable quote..”you should always have a stake in the holster!”
Is that a stake in your holster, or...
OMG, I loved when you guys flipped out at the spider scene, one of the best reactions ever. Had to rewind that several times. Rana and Pat especially funny. I hate creepy crawly things too. When you guys react to Angel series, will you still put out a Buffy episode every week.....cause I need my Normies BtvS reactions, I look forward to those every Thursday.
When angel starts you have to do both side by side. They have multiple part episodes that make no sense without each other
You mean crossover episodes that make very little sense played out of order.
Idk.. I never watched Angel and it didn't lessen my enjoyment of BtVS🤷🏻♀️ If they were to start Angel along with Buffy season 4 that would mean only one Buffy ep reaction every other week bcs they don't have time for both in the same week.. So reading some comments here, I'm glad Angel will be Patreon only (for now)
@@Teaspooncat This is true. But when I started watching Angel on it's own there were some moments I was like "wait, hold up...what happened in Buffy to result in this episode".
@@jimmygreer2140 Yeah, I was thinking that might have been the case; I had no trouble following the storyline in Buffy episodes so the issue had to be watching Angel without watching Buffy (or watching but not in the right time/order)
@@Teaspooncat you must not have been paying as much attention to Btvs because characters arcs happen on Angel and then carry over to Buffy and vice versa... at least you had to watch the "previously on Buffy AND Angel..." when it came to certain things.
Buffy's stunt performer was also the Pink Ranger!
UC Sunnydale isn't Stanford, but it is supposed to be one of the top universities (how big Sunnydale is has changed from season one where it is a 'one Starbucks town' where the bad part of town is about half a block from the good side of town).
I'm pretty sure Cordy passed the tests to go to those Universities, she's not stupid, just self-obsessed. We soon find out why she's working.
Kit Rae knife named Jackal is the one Faith Lehane got as a gift from the mayor
As goofy as Wesley is, he grew up to be Thanos right hand man😆. Hello guys.
Okay so Mickey is looking dapper af in this reaction and also I love to see not 1 but 2 people rocking the double denim 🤣 I get ripped for it all the time but it’s a vibe 🤣

🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 Rana! For, "I'll just lean back and stretch to see how high my blouse rises!" 🎉🎊🥇🏆
Faith? 🤔. I forgot my point there! 😁
Willow's cute overalls are, red! Her wardrobe is based on her hair color!
By the way! For the first season, if you weren't a monster that needed something special to wear, to save money, cast members brought their own clothes with them from home!
The sports team uniforms look out of date, because they are! Ditto, cop and guard uniforms! Remember how you got excited that one time you noticed how they looked better? Well, by then they had a budget for it, that's why! Professionals were doing it by then! 🎊🎉
Cordelia Chase! Her Palomino, a horse, is named, "Keanu Reeves"! One reason for her being glum is, he got impounded! There's your clue from me to you! 😉
Willow & Buffy, wrestling cutely, reminded me of another competition happening back then. "Toyota", used celebrities to promote their cars, like their, "Toyota Celica". But not in the usual way, by making commercials.
They had car races! "Which Witch Will Win?!", was the headline promoting the race with, Alyson Hannigan versus Melissa Joan Hart! I didn't learn who won until decades later, when a fan on, Hart's fan club page told me. But I forgot already!
Alyson, not wanting to feel left out, began taking lessons in either, Savate or Kick Boxing, or both?! Taekwondo, SMG's specialty, is also about the feet! 🥋
Vampire at the docks was in charmed, also the mind reading driving you crazy, like how they connect somehow 🔥ep n reactionnn
Micky's hands are clasped together in his lap in such a way that it creates a focus window that is unfortunate...unless you have a crush on Mickey.
*slowly raises hand*🙋🏾♂️So like I may or may not have a crush on Mickey. 😬
😂😂😂😅
@@tariqthomas9090 Well than, enjoy the show brother. Micky is a cutey...I mean that in a purely heterosexual way of course
This is one of my favorite episodes. I agree, both Wesley & the Mayor had valid points and their delivery was excellent. I really enjoyed your reaction.
Yes, please watch Angel! Its so worth adding it to your rotation. The spinoff is all about Angel's true redemption, his penance for his actions as Angelus. AND, it has Cordelia! So the Cordy-fans in your group will get more of her. I know you've already stated season 4 of Buffy but the first season of Angel runs parallel to season 4. There are even a couple crossovers. Google Buffyverse watch order.
LMAO!!! From now on, everything with the use of a pencil in a non-normal way will be associated with John Wick. Good Comment, Rana. Great Post, Normies.
RE: Angel and pure happiness.
Way too many people focus on the sex part. Angel didn't turn because he fucked Buffy, it's not "If you have sex you get your soul back." Angel turned well *after* the sex, in the middle of the night while he was curled up in bed with the underage girl he groomed into loving him (let's save that particular discussion for a different day), content and at peace. *That* was the happiness that caused him to lose his soul.
Having an orgasm isn't pure happiness, it was that one moment of peace and contentment that did it.
Another great reaction guys thanks! 🎉 Can we get a double-feature reaction for the last two episodes (Graduation part 1 & 2) of the season? 😢
The whole time they were talking sh!t about the contents in the box, and me waiting until that moment when they find out. (Insert sipping tea gif here)
Love the suit on the middle guy looks good!
I really don't get why some of you sense an older creepy vibe from the Mayor's comments towards Faith. He clearly views her as a daughter figure, despite how demonic he is.
I love your reactions but ffs watching Marketa having to explain to supposedly grown ass men that true happiness does not come from… well, ‘coming’, but from the intimacy and love Angel has with Buffy, was just sad. It reminded me why I’m on my own and wouldn’t have it any other way… choices 😂
Can’t wait for the last few episodes of season 3 and to continue the journey as the Buffyverse expands with Angel!
I agree that its not JUST from coming--- but at the same time, Angel doesn't lose his soul just from cuddling with Buffy and having her tell him how much she loves him.
People get so caught up in the phrase "perfect happiness" that they forget what it really means is a moment where he's no longer suffering the torment of his soul. One moment where he's not feeling the guilt and remorse and shame, where he's at peace. His curse didn't break at the moment of physical release it broke while he was drifting off to sleep with the woman he loves in his arms after they had fully embraced their love. Pretty clear it takes more than a cheap thrill.
@@HighQueenChelsea Absolutely, it all contributes to this moment of happiness but it’s not the physical release otherwise he would have turned immediately (awkward lol) and not in post coital peace with Buffy asleep in his arms.
@@kirstenstewart5758 also I feel like it was implied Angel had probably slept with *someone* in his 100 years as a wandering souled vampire.
@@hiarhu746 Also It's highly unlikely Angel would ever reach perfect happiness again since he now knows about the loophole(unlike before) and would never let himself reach that point.
Given what happens with b & a in next week's ep, I'm interested to see the reaction to that.
Also, are you reacting to angel and will it be up on YT ? Cause everyone is saying it's only gonna be on patreon 🥺☹️
Dope commentary from The Normies.
Angel's happiness has to be pure and its not sexual. Lol Angel is was content and happy after his sex with Buffy because he's in love with her. It's the pure essence of being happy.
My headcanon for why Angel isn't rich through investment is that when he was evil, he didn't care because he could just loot the people he killed. And it's not like he needed to pay for food or rent; he was just travelling around killing people and living his best unlife. Now that he has a soul, he doesn't think he deserves to be rich because guilt.
I'm not sure about the other vampires. Spike isn't much of a planner, Drusilla is insane. The Master and Darla may very well have been rich.
The Nrmioes in 2060 "how does Angel's curse work" lmao
Has Rana been hanging out with Morgan from Burlington Bar?!
They both are just ready to end somebody to save the day 😂
Where can I find where you guys are at in watching Buffy on Patreon? I don't see it listed here, and Ive tried looking a couple times on your Patreon but still can't. Looks like only 2 posts are tagged with "buffy". Help!
The soul curse on Angelus is broken if he should experience a moment of pure joy. Orgasms are optional.
Wesley was 100% right this episode. He shouldn’t have been so quickly dismissed.
For a split second I was like 'wait we saw Cordy's dad?' but then he followed up by saying it was John Stamos and I realized he was just fucking with them.
I love the hate for early Wesley. They have no idea!
Gotta love the spider box!
6:03 I appreciate the Big Tymerz reference. 😂
Willows dress ist so pretty! But I was a few days older than the first airing of this episode when I discovered: These Dresses do not go with my bodytype.
You can get into college and not go because you can’t pay for it.
When Angel originally lost his soul he and Buffy did have sex, but the curse didn't activate until after when they were cuddling, presumably something like an hour later. So yes he can still have sex, but the thing that makes him truly happy is to be with Buffy. As long as that doesn't change they shouldn't even risk being together, but that's his human nature dooming him--making him seek happiness, even if he does deny himself.
On the Wesley debate: It sucks but he's kinda right! We don't want to admit it because it's Willow, we do want to save her and all! But for those who knows the final episode; I mean, there are people who dies there! We know of 3 secondary characters who does, and, y'know, probably more, people we just didn't really get to meet. But even if not: At least 3 people dies so that Willow could live.
Just saying!
Bufffy can't live happily ever after, no matter what happens with angel. She'll be the slayer until she dies. She can't settle down. She can't stop. Her fate is sealed.
Oz' best moment at 12:15
Willow and her Chucky outfits.
Pedro Pascal watch: keep an eye out in season 4. Confirmed via his IMDB page
You know what would be fun, do 2 reactions. One with Rana, Spidey, Pat and Marketa and another with Suraj, Chris and Mickey. No reason...
Am I trippin or did Suraj say the into to ‘Still Fly’? Lol (Wassup, Fresh? It’s our return, baby)
REMINDER: DO NOT WATCH THE CREDITS TO ANGEL EPISODE ONE, AND MAYBE BUFFY 4-1 AS WELL
I don’t know if the two women are projecting or what, but there’s nothing sexual between Faith and the Mayor.
Getting closer to the end of this season. This show just get's crazier and crazier. Cordies boss was in Chuck. I like all of these people that you see in the show and then you realize the shows that they went to afterwards. I just wish that they had done a better job with the HD disc versions.
18:47 she was thinking about losing her knife not going good
Probably mostly, but one could argue that for a moment she was back on the true slayer mission, protecting people by killing monsters. She could have had a moment of nostalgia/sadness about the whole "Fighting the good fight" thing. The knife she could have easily go and pick it up again, on the other hand switching back to the good side is for the moment not an option for her.
@@christophtoifl6848 twice the shot cuts from faith turning her head to the knife on the wall. the director and editor has laid out for us pretty clearly that she's looking at the knife. anything else is pure speculation without any foundation. a million other things could have been thought about with no indication by the editing or directing but i would not jump to any of those conclusions either. i follow what the show told us.

I am in the middle of Angel Season 3 and it is atleast on par with Buffy imo
Angel is good but fair warning, season 4 will make you hate it. Season 5 is worth keeping on though.
The SpongeBob reference made my day
"Faith sucks." I'M OFFENDED.
Same! She's the best character on the show imo (well apart from Buffy). And all this raging over her is burying the nuances of her character.
1:58 Interestingly, the title of this episode is "Choices" haha.
Pretty sure that was intentional. Lol
This is great. Thank you.
3:38-3:42 Don't get me started on Buffy and Angel not being able to figure it out and being in denial about a three-month relationship before they had sex. _Halloween_ through _Surprise_ was their official dating period. Before that, it was attraction going nowhere and since Angelus, they do the on and off thing Chris talked about. Although, when it comes to denial, Buffy must get it from Joyce who isn't getting the picture of Buffy not being able to leave town for school. Faith could've helped (not take over) with that if The Scoobies hadn't ostracized her even before The Deputy Mayor incident, but most high school seniors don't think in advance as well as they are encouraged.
I assumed Marketa would understand better that it's one thing to not be anyone's business, but its another thing when people are in denial over toxic relationships. The Mayor was saying everything that Giles, Joyce, Willow, Xander, Oz, Cordelia, and even Wesley to a degree should be been telling Buffy. Even Spike had something to say about them getting out of a different type of denial. Buffy even took the right lesson from it and dumped Angel, only to get back together with him at the end of _Amends_ just after he attempted suicide by sunlight. For friends who like to get into Buffy's face when they don't like what she's doing, this is the one times they should all be saying exactly what The Mayor did. The other Normies are right in that they let The Mayor say it because they haven't.
The Mayor talking about "[Coming] back from hell" isn't the point. The point was why does it matter if he did or didn't if he's just going to be Buffy's window dressing relationship again. Have fans seen him as anything else, even when he was Angelus, or before S2, or after Angelus? No. Because even The Scoobies don't see him as anything other than Buffy's boyfriend. And that has been a problem, even if he wasn't a vampire.
Snyder is The Mayor's Sunnydale High school spy, but he doesn't know anything about The Mayor (until this episode when he watches The Mayor unnaturally heal), and it also never seemed he reported directly to The Mayor.
Buffy's been fighting in Sunnydale for a little over two years Willow, not one. She arrived in Sunnydale in March 1997 and it is currently (in-universe) May 1999.
Here is my theory on the whole Angel losing his soul issue, he now knows for a fact that if he has a moment of pure happiness he will end up losing his soul and reverting to Angelus. Given that this fact will always be pressing in the back of his and the constant worrying he receives from it, if him and Buffy had sex again I think that would be enough to prevent him from reaching that moment needed for him to lose his soul.
“Raise your hand, if you’re invulnerable…”..
Good job confusing happiness for pleasure guys 😂
IMO, a moment of pleasure is not necessarily synonymous with _"a moment of pure happiness."_
*EDIT:* Either *Charisma Carpenter* didn't do a good enough acting job, or *the Normies* didn't quite pick up on how depressed *Cordelia* was in that scene (given many of their theories).
And I feel like they missed the clue earlier in the episode. Wasn't Xander kind of making fun of her because she was wearing the same outfit....and Cordelia is supposed to have like a year's worth of outfits cause she's the type to never wear the same thing twice (at least where enough time passes for an old outfit to seem new again).
But yeah, they'll learn soon enough and it really is a beautifully sweet moment in the show.
@@jimmygreer2140 Yup. I would say they failed to pay enough attention on Cordy's scenes in this episode to catch it. It was very obvious to me what was going on with her and definitely wouldn't blame Charisma's performance for the Normies not getting it as there was nothing lacking in her acting
Faith’s and the Mayor have father/daughter relationship. There’s absolutely nothing sexual.
Just wondering, but has anybody told the Normies that Wesley and Willow are married IRL?
Yes, Suraj mentioned it in the Doppelgangland epispde
Guys watch the glory..it will be fun
faith clearly made her choice
OMG....it's Quark!!!
So so ready for next week!
Yes they had a plan before they got the box but now any death after the fact is on them because they selfishly put Willow's life above everyone elses.
i don't mind making angel reactions purely on patreon but did y'all know you can make it available for free on there? pls
what a choice.
UC schools are actually some of the better universities in the country. So its not like they're going to some crappy school.
