This song isn't just beautiful, it's timeless. I could actually say the same thing about all of your music Lau. You manage to compose melodies, lyrics, and harmonies that while on one hand are so gorgeous and unique, and at the same time, timeless. If someone presented this music to me at told me it was written 75 years ago, I would believe them. You've somehow managed to fill a space in music i didn't even know was missing, finding melodies and lyrics that are so original, yet so familiar at the same time. Every song of yours is a gift, and I'm grateful for each and every one. Thank you!

There are a few composer/performers, artists, whom I distinguish as "unafraid of beauty". Lau and Salvador fall easily into that category. Further into the Collier nexus, there would have to go Jacob, Chris Thile, Maddison Cunningham and MARO, but then also we must have Silvia Perez Cruz. Newly joining the club with her latest album of self composed gems is Rita Payes.
Check out "No És La Llum" with Lau and "El Panadero" with Silvia on De Camino al Camino. Exquisite work from both and extraordinary string arrangements from a newly confident Rita.
Please Guilem, go shoot a video of "No És La Llum" so it gets the coverage it deserves.
Thanks for the song recommendations! I've admired Rita Payes' Trombone skills for a while, but didn't follow her recent developments. And I totally agree about your description of "unafraid of beauty". That captures my feelings toward these artists very well.
@@philaeew4866 Glad you feel the same about these folk. Since posting that we discover No Es La Llum has a fine video of the performance. Regarding the fearless embrace of beauty, Rita's "Tantas Cosas (live video)" is profoundly beautiful. (A performance of this went out recently on RTvE the La Revuelta chat show. Rita and her classical piece, with shocking/beautiful imagery, made an unlikely end for the show. The audience went absolutely wild.)
