I have a question my dear friends . In John chapter 1 verse 1 In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God , and the Word was God . He was with God in the beginning . This was Jesus before he took on the flesh of a man . I think I am correct . I also think that Genesis supports my thinking of this in chapter 1 verse 26 . Verse 26 .Then God said ."Let us make man in our image , in our likeness " My co - worker says that i am wrong . She says that God is God alone , that Jesus is the Son of God but not God nor is the Holy Spirit God. Now i believe that there are three persons to God . God the Father , God the Son and God the Holy Spirit . I also believe they are one . I think that the Hebrew word for God supports what I believe . The name of God is Elohim and is Plural including his Spirit and His incarnate Body . I am correct ? As I have shown this to her and she says i am incorrect . I believe I am correct and would like to find away to show her more truth on this topic . Can you please help ?
