Nice video! How should a jazz guitarist learn this lick, because for us we can just move the shape to a different fret?

I’m a new guitarist too, but been playing jazz 30 years. If I get guitar right, basically it makes it super simple to change keys. The “pattern shapes” we learn on guitar allow us to always find a major or minor chord, anywhere on the root low strings. So as you say, moving the fret, would take something from the song’s “Key of C” to a different key. Depending on how many sharps or flats are now in that new key.
The pattern though, would stay the same.
So with these little licks often being in C Major, you can start on the 8th fret of the low E string. That’s “middle C” according to most band instruments - where both deeper bossier instruments like Tuba and Tenor Saxaphone or Trombone play “higher” and where a Trumpet basically starts.
Also be it for you, or anyone else reading these comments. “Middle C” is kinda easier to find for me anyway, because on the staph in Treble (mainly trumpet and clarinet player) it’s that one full step down from the lowest bar. That note with a line through it. Just above that - D. The first note on the lowest bar - E. And if my budding guitar knowledge is correct, that’s the “E” on the 12th fret of the Low-E string

I've followed your link to "Get our FREE "Learn Jazz Standards the Smart Way" Guide and Masterclass", but I have NOT received any answer email. And I have waited about 20 hours. You say I should receive it in 5 minutes. And I know there is nothing wrong with my email. And no, it is not in the spam folder...
