Before Sean Connery passed away, we lived very close to him (Bahamas) New Providence Isl. NASSAU Capitol in "Lyford Cay" private gated golf & marina community! His Yacht & Home had the name "OUT OF BOUNDS" referring to Golf! THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ONLY #1 'JAMES BOND' to our family!
Thank you for the information...very interesting. RIP Sean Connery
Best Bond Films came out in 1960s and our Top favorite is From Russia with Love and Gold Finger also being one of the best 007 Film. Sir Sean Connery (R.I.P) portrayed Ian Fleming's' 007 BOND in the best manner and he would remain the best and always highly respected.
Sean Connery is dashing and very intelligent, and his calculated and powerful moves as James Bond is full of charisma. He is definitely my favorite actor
Magical movie for a 12yr old, recommended by grade school best friend as I became a life-long fan of "007" 's escapades w/great storylines, along w/Q's gadgets to help him overcome dangerous situations, & the rest of wonderful characters; ladies & villains, amazing special effects. A wonderful movie package history that thankfully continues to entertain us presently w/current story lines...
Love the before and after shots
Nice to see
the hotel is still there 😎
I’m always amazed at how some companies think they should modernize by tearing down cool looking landmarks like the ones in this film. That KFC and gas station were so cool looking back then.
The best great return to where it was shot . One of the best and Sean Connery what movies were made to be like . Still mind blowing from the girl of gold to fort knox great sets ,great music, great style, what a Bond film should be. It set the bar.
Thank you very much!!!
Love the brassy brash sounding music
J'ai 73 ans et je ne me lasse toujours pas de ce film.
😊👍👍 Perfect!!
The one and only James Bond Sean Connery. Rest in Peace Sir.
Fantastic ❤
Thank you 😊
Th Best Bond in the Best Bond Movie. After all these years, the scene when Bond discovers the dead girl painted in gold, is still very impressive.
Sean Connery will always be our #1 Bond (From Russia With Love / Goldfinger / Thunderball our favorites)! Our #2 James Bond is Roger Moore & #3 Pierce Brosnan (I worked with Pierce for years on a TV show in Hollywood) REMINGTON STEELE! Pierce was not accepted as James Bond on his first try > being cast as Bond came later with 'age & maturity'!
Rest in peace Sir Sean Connery or maybe I should say Mr. James Bond? Anyway, for me he was and will be the best and most authentic James Bond, today at the service of the highest. Greeting from Chile. 👋😢🇨🇱
Wonderful Bond movie. Has everything.
The Best Bond film... 💪👍👍
Beautifully done and fascinating thank you.
Thank you 😊
The best & my favorite Bond movie.
My next being From Russia With Love mainly because my Aunt Lotte Lenya played Rosa Klebb.
Lotte Lenya was your aunt?!?!? What an amazing woman. My favorite recording of her is The Rise and Fall of Mahagonny, esp. a strange, tender moment toward the end between Jenny and Jimmy when they kiss and say goodbye before his death.
FRWL in my opinion was the Best. She was great Klebb added to the movie as much as 007, Grant and Kerim Bey.....a totally great cast.
This was a good Bond movie but the best would really have to be From Russia With Love.
Me too 😊 My Al Ways Favourite 😍 James Bond movie 007👍👍👍
One of my favorites.
I live about 2 miles from Bluegrass field in Kentucky. This is the small air field where they land before going to Goldfingers ranch. I know it was not filmed there but it is cool that they mentioned bluegrass airport in a James Bond movie.
Great!!! :-)
08:52--Oddjob gives new meaning to the term "ball-breaker'!!
Except for the glacier near Hotel Belvedere that has dramatically receded over the years, there is not much change in Furka Pass. Same winding hairpin bends and scenic views that attract bikers, cyclists and motorists to go there especially in the summertime. Btw, Goldfinger is my favorite Bond film along with From Russia With Love. R.i.p. Mr Connery
chao
In Goldfinger, Connery never been in Miami USA, that part was shooted in England. Only Felix Leiter actor , Albert R. Broccoli, the director and couple more of persons of the movie crew.
Fun fact the map at 15:03 is Orell Kentucky
I read in several articles that Gert Frobe's voice was dubbed because his German accent was so strong. Also, the lead female actress in From Russia With Love had her voice dubbed as well.
Fröbe, yes. Bianchi, not so sure.
There is one brief moment where they forgot to dub Gert Fröbe's voice with Michael Collins'. Listen carefully when Sean Connery is hidden beneath the scale model of Fort Knox as Goldfinger explains 'Operation Grand Slam' to the mob you will hear his real voice. (1hr 10minutes: "It can be, I think the expression is, blown!")
I believe Ursula Andress in Dr. No was dubbed.
Sylvia Trench - THE first Bond Girl - her dialoge was dubbed as well
So after the golf match Goldfinger nods at Odd Job to give Bond a demonstration of his lethal hat throwing skills, so the shot of the statue next to the garden arched wall and the shot of the statue having its head sliced off was back in the garden at Pinewood studios. It is also where Bond and Pussy Galore land with the parachute at the end of the movie, they are also in the garden at Pinewood studios. The car chase in the Aston Martin is done around the avenues between the sound stages at PInewood doubling up for Goldfinger's factory, well film studios look very industrial from the outside so that works. When Bond ejects his captor from the car they are in the famous Black Park which is a natural forest and wildlife area right next to the studios, also in Black Park for the scenes of Tilly with her sniper rifle tripping the alarm wire, and when odd job kills her with his hat as she runs for the trees, it has been used in hundreds of movies over the years, it is open to the public, walking around the gravel tracks of the forest there you can recognise many movies that were shot there, the trees and topography are quite distinctive. I've worked at Pinewood on many occasions, first as a film extra and then I advanced to doing stand in and doubling on various productions over the years, Pinewood is not open to the public or for tours, but I've had a good look around when I have been there, the mirror where Bond is dazzled by his own headlights during the car chase scene is still there, that avenue with the mirror on the wall at the end between the sound stages is called Goldfinger Avenue, the sign is up there on the wall.
old is pearl gold diamond !still it glimmers in stills
A great film it was and I is till now
All the Connery Bonds were good movies. My favorite was From Russia with love then Dr. NO, You Only Live Twice, Thunderball, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, Never Say Never Again...in my opinion Connery was the best 007, with Lazenby second only because he only made one. With Brosnan very close yes his scripts were crap but he did very well being 007. I actually consider Goldeneye my 2nd favorite Bond movie behind FRWL. I really can't see why many consider Goldfinger the Best, its good I like it a lot but dont think its the best.
Goldfinger is so highly rated because the producers finally had a large budget and Bond movies had finally broken into popularity in the U.S. It was extremely well made with the elaborate sets, dazzling locations, and outstanding John Barry soundtrack plus arguably Bond’s best villains. Connery was at his best… you could really tell he was really settled in and comfortable in the role.
Very nice! Tank's.
bond movie ..best
The best Bond movie ever made with the best Bond, Connery. The only one where the novel is better than the movie and the villain is much cooler than Bond. I only wish Goldfinger would have been the winner, because he is such an amazing character. Bond is number 2 compared to Goldfinger.
Gert Frobe best Bond villian
I like James bond movie tu much
08:19--Oddjob, Warrior Prince!
Ah James Bond (SC) when the world seemed a much better place, and probably was!!! rip x

Say that again because we didn't get it the third time either.
RIP TANIA MALLET The Pretty Mustang girl ❤⚘
Was the scene where Tilly fired on Bond filmed on the Furka Pass in Switzerland?
I’ve been over there by motorcycle, fantastic roads and scenery
Yes, it is
he was an excellent actor, not just in Bond movies. i like roger moore (my favorite Bond) but he was not as well rounded as connery
Its good but you should've stayed more in line with the original camera shots and blocking as oppose to elevated drone views
Tres bon acteur
Sean Connery never set foot in Miami during the filming because he was making a movie with Alfred Hitchcock at the time.
SEAN CONNERY JAMES BOND OO7
Why not put the locations on the screen while they are being shown?
Thank you for the advice, I will think about for the next video.
Encien films trais Bon action
De jems Bond
Golf is THE NATIONAL GAME OF KOREA!! LPGA
изумительно
Anyone know the exact spot on Google Maps of 10:56
That's the exact spot I'm looking to identify. Definitely on the Furka Pass, somewhere in between the Belvedere Hotel and Realp.
I believe Goldfinger's Rolls was parked at co-ordinates 46.590694, 8.494703, and Bond's Aston was parked at co-ordinates 46.591610,8.4915000. This gels with the location of the river, the road paralleling it (Schweigstrasse) and small bridge that is faintly visible crossing it.
MY name IS BOND JAMES BOND OO7
One of the James bo
Qepd sean connery.
Ahhh, after all those years. KFC is still there.
:-)
I don't know there was ice there this time of year 😆😁😃
style and nuthin but still tasty after all these years!
See you later Dink! 😉
🦉🦉🦉🦉💕💕💕💕💕
RIP Honor Blackman! One helluva sexy woman! With a character name as Pussy Galore, just topped it!
Sean Connery's unfortunate hissing brough would require constant retakes of scenes where spittle would land in the face of beautiful women or, in one case, Goldfinger's face. The German actor (who spoke little English) was startled and let loose a series of obscenities (in German). Pussy Galore herself was forced to wear a mask anytime Connery said "PuSHHHHHHY".
No…. 🙄
