The cost just gets pushed on to the consumer, and to save money people may now buy in bulk in sales or discount stores for certain products. It's not what's in it that's the problem, it's about a balanced diet, and only the public are able to control how much of anything they consume. Making something more expensive isn't a solution. All the artificial sweeteners and flavour enhancers added to replace any sugar may even have a worse effect on health in the long term.. how long before a salt tax? 😎

I know I don't have a dog in this fight but I only watch because I absolutely love your accent. As an American Southern with a very magnolia Southern accent I enjoy hearing someone else a very distinctive accent.

The ad before the video was Gordon Ramsey Teaches Cooking 😭
Remember him jumping up and down outside parliament praising george osborne the same session they took 30 pound a week of e.s.a. claiments.
I have been saying for years that he is a "food fascist". I am amazed that an over rated pub cook can influence governments to introduce tax on products.
Sugar tax is great. It's the only thing that I agree on with Jamie Oliver. There's a huge diabetes epidemic in UK. Thanks to Tess Holliday efforts of glamorising fatness and eating a 3 kilo cake in one go after a 10 min session in a gym. And with the diabetes treatment sponsored by common income tax, it means that the tax money can't be used for something more useful, like cancer research. As a tax payer, I don't want to pay for someone's bad decision. I'd rather prefer my money build new hospitals for children with cancer, then paying for an overweight immovable people who claim that they have big bones. It's not your big bones, honey. It's a 3 kilo cake that you eat on a daily basis. It's their fault that they got diabetes, not mine. So why should I pay for it? If alcohol and tobacco tax exist, then sugar tax should exist too. Sugar is as addictive and as bad as tobacco and alcohol. And that's that.
I just love ur accent. It’s not everyday I hear this kind of voice. 🙂
He's just signed a £5m deal with Shell...one of the biggest polluters on the planet
When I become dictator...I mean First minister of Scotland Jamie Oliver will be the first to “go missing”
Agree with you 100 percent. Never a truer word said. He's a belter.
Literally couldn’t agree more! Actual grinds my gears him. If he wants people to eat healthy, the price of healthy food needs lowered majorly...
Vegetables cost pennies! A posh pizza from a supermarket cost £5. £5 in veg is 3 bags worth
and he's the spokesperson for Woolworths in Australia, 'he picks Woolies' but he's not living here?

Just came across this video. While the story is old now, this is comedy gold!
He should be concentrating on paying back the £7 MILLION he owes the suppliers and other small businesses after his Barbecoa Steakhouse venture went into administration. What do you say Jamie? Ya sh*t!
Good video i like your Harry Potter pumpkin in the background .Now i am in 2 minds about Jamie Oliver.
Yaaas I’m in the video thx so much m8
