Hello Thomas, thank you for this video tour! Your apartment is handsome and classy! It is new and very large WOW! The newer high rise apartments in Sharjah are different from yours but very nice too. They would be older in years than yours but I liked them. The only problem was they are located on the other side of Sharjah meaning I would need to take the teacher school bus in the morning and home in the evening. The public transportation in Sharjah was not available at that time. Thanks for sharing it is beautiful and elegant.
Cool, but no way in heck I'd live in a building like that, view or not!! Holy cow. That scared me just watching the video! Guess I got Mom's fear of heights after all. Thanks for sharing it though.
Thank you for the video. Yes I just got hired as a teacher and trainer of businessmen in Dubai.. I'm a little bit worried. Though I've traveled and worked in different places around the around the world I have never spent time in The Arab Emirates. The Times I spent in the Middle East have been nice except there have been some political upset right as I was leaving. The Arab Sprang and things like this. So it does make me worry a little bit.
I have applied to so many jobs in the last two months and have not heard back anything :( I have 9 years of teaching experience in the US and great references but no bites.
@@victoriadaniello6129 My husband got the job He is 49 yrs old and also NQT Maybe to change your CV and CL? Do you apply tru TES? I wish you finding job quickly
Hey, we have the same name! I’m being optimistic and trying to apply for an early childhood specialist position. I hope I hear something. Do you have a master degree?
Is there any need for Greek teachers over there? I am an elementary school teacher in Greece wishing to live abroad and build some financial independence given that we are paid poverty salaries here in Greece.
Do you mind me asking which tower your apartment is in? I’m looking at JLT for my accommodation when I move to Dubai in August for a teaching job but I’ve heard some towers are better than others. Any help would be fab thanks.

It was really an insane view from the balcony. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it. I certainly miss the view.
Your accommodation looks nice, however, I'd be worried about earthquakes all the time...
We have earthquakes on the west coast US. Do they have earthquakes in Dubai?
They don't. Not heavy ones
