in this calculation we select grill for 50 CFM/FT. Throw for 38 CFM/FT is 10ft. 50-38=12 CFM we calculate throw for remaining 12 CFM after 38 by interpolation.

I have one Question at 28:00 in your calculation get 0.2x12=2.4, value of 12 for what ?

I already used manufacturers selection sheets, for selection of grill & diffusers you can follow selection criteria provided by manufacturers.
