    Thanks for the video. I had originally been using the second method because it's what the manual described, but I kept running into issues with the looper thread coming loose down below and it needed to be rethreaded. Maybe that's what you meant by losing stitches?
    Your first method has actually turned out to be much more consistent. Thank you, again!

    how do you do a hem where the stitch only shows on one side of the hem?

    What is the difference between the b42 and the b48 funlock besides the amount of threads? Because I have the 48 and I can't find too many videos on it and its really hard for me to even begin to know where to study

      The B48 is a combo machine. Depending on how its threaded and needle placement, it can overlock or do coverstitches. The B42 or B44 videos can be helpful, once you know how to setup the B48 for coverstitches or for overlocking.
