I just got accepted into an amazing flight school and I was also looking for a C172, while considering the possibility of MSFS's physics changing. Clearly the winner is the AFL C172. Funny enough, I also start my school in August. Good luck on your PPL!
@@bluefsaviation You have no idea how many hours I spent googling it but to no avail! I cannot thank you enough, so I subscribed to you... You earned it ;)
Do you have the new NG version or the xplane11 one? Personally I found the NG one to be kinda weird during engine start and found some issues with my throttle. I hope they improve it since I’m not the first…
I actually went to Windy City Aviation because I had a good friend that went there. I’m still in the process of checking out schools near the area today, though.
You are completely correct, looking back at this I see that I was exceeding 75 knots in the WB C172 and a little under 70 in the AFL C172. Thanks for pointing it out!

That’s amazing to hear! Good luck with yours as well!
Hello, where can I download this ground features menu addon for the wbsim 172 from?
You can get that here: github.com/rogamaral/wbsimC172InGamePanel It has been receiving multiple updates since the initial release.
