I've seen on so many RUclips videos even from the flight crew themselves is to never drink coffee, tea or tap water from the plane as the pipes aren't cleaned and have years of gross mold building up. 🤢
The number one thing that I have found to make it the best flight ever is to remember that flight attendants are people too. They are working hard taking care of passenger safety yet get treated like glorified servers. If you are on a long flight... think about the number of hours the flight will be and how long all the crew will be working. Have a bit of common courtesy at the very least, or like we do... give them a gift. My wife and I give a small bag of chocolates to the crew of any flight we take that lasts over 6 hours, because that means that the crew will be working for an 8 hour shift at the very least. We have found that most airlines will be extremely reciprocal and will give us better service, amenities and gifts from the first class, and even first class cabin food. Do not expect an upgrade or to be treated like royalty every time, but at the very least they will treat you like a human being.
Let me share my tip on my North Korean trip. You know when you check in your luggage they give you back a small tag to indicate that luggage is yours? In most airports after you take your luggage you just toss away that tag but in NK DON'T. Because just before exiting you have to show the security that tag. I showed my passport and how my particulars matched those on my luggage but they refused to accept it. Was put in an holding cell till my tour guide went looking for me and tried explaining to them.
Tricking your brain in to sleep mode. Get into the habit of sleeping with your phone quietly playing, an audio book (has to be one you have heard often with a calm voice) or just a soothing noise. I have free app, you can choose to listen to things like rain, a thunderstorm, AC unit, ticking clock, aircraft cabin etc. If you then play this via ear phones - unless you chose aircraft cabin noise - your brain will find it easier to switch to sleep mode. Taking a small dose of melatonin can help. Avoiding jet leg. If you are going to have to cope with a big time difference, try fasting for about 16 hours counting back from the first normal meal time at your destination - this is much easier if you have a night fight. If you are going to arrive in the morning, count back 16 hours from arrival and stop eating and drink only water from there. On arrival have a good breakfast as soon as you can. It helps to reset your body clock faster.
I always travel with a blanket scarf because of its versatility. You can bunch it up and use it as a pillow, a blanket when you inevitably get cold, an eyemask for sleeping, an impromptu beach or shower towel, a head covering for temples/mosques, a cover-up from the sun, a makeshift belt, a makeshift sling/bandage/tourniquet, a stylish head wrap/headband, a DYI shirt or skirt, a face mask during dust storms or bad smells, cushion for fragile souvenirs, etc.
after arriving at your destination, go stand in some direct sunlight (can be through a window you don't need to be outside) at noon for around 15 mins this will also help reset your body clock for the current time zone also you'll get some needed vit D.
Sussan "And you can’t get adequate UVB exposure sitting indoors or in a car. Virtually all commercial and automobile glass blocks UVB rays. As a result, you will not be able to increase your vitamin D levels by sitting in front of a sunny window, though much of the UVA radiation will penetrate the glass and may be harmful." This found at NYTimes website after a quick search. As for the "resetting" your body clock at noon by standing in direct sunlight... I am skeptical. Could you provide a source for this claim? Thanks in advance.
Just a few from an airline ramper (aka baggage handler aka glowing orange stick guy) 1. MEDICATIONS: NEVER pack medications in your checked baggage if you need it. Take it in your carry-on. If there's a delay, they can't get your bag or worst case they lose it. 2. LUGGAGE INFO: Others have said this but put your Name, Address, Phone, Email, etc. inside your checked luggage so they can easily forward it on to you should you get separated. 3. LUGGAGE PICTURE: Take a picture of your luggage so if for whatever reason you can show it to an airline employee. (e.g. lost, duplicates without tags, etc.) 4. ON-BOARD WATER: I would not recommend drinking coffee or hot water on an aircraft. The lavatories, coffee pots, and hot water lines all run on the same tank. It is not cleaned like you'd want. There's a reason they have bottled water on board. You won't die but you may end up firing hotter than the jet engines. 5. FRAGILE STICKERS: This is not my personal work ethic; however, fragile stickers may do the opposite of what you'd like it accomplish. 1 sticker maybe not, 30 on your bag...probably. It pisses rampers off. You have WAY better luck with a "I LOVE RAMPERS/BAGGAGE HANDLERS" tag ;) Those are VIP bags. 6. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS: Bring them chocolate, candy, magazines, etc. that aren't already on board. You may be their new favorite passenger. When you want a second round, go to the galley when they're not busy and ask instead of hitting the call button. Also, don't hit on them. They're working. It's rude. Also, guarantee you'll be the joke of the crew later. 7. LUGGAGE COMING OUT FIRST: Best way to make sure your bag is the first at the baggage claim is make sure it's the first on the plane. Check it very early. It'll be the last unloaded from the plane and most likely the first loaded on to the baggage claim. However, it can be completely random based on equipment, number of bags, priority bags, etc. Other than checking super early, you probably have a better chance of upgrading to first class than getting a method to this. 8. TSA CHECKPOINTS: Many airports have more than one security check-point. Check to see if another has a shorter line. 9. REAR DEPLANING: Many airlines are doing this. Check to see if it is the case on your flight. If so, the last row will be the first out the back down and the first row will be first out the first down. It splits somewhere halfway down the cabin. Handicap and those needing assistance will still go through the front. 10. STROLLERS, WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS, ETC: Please mark on your tag if you want your item during your layover or moved to your next flight. Then if you want it for your layover, don't forget to grab it from the jetbridge. This is the biggest way these items are lost! Thanks!
Do you have any advice on ear plugs? Those orange 3M ear plugs? I love using them but Im afraid of using them on a flight and that blocks my ear canal to naturally adjust to the altitude.
My sister is a flight attendant and she always reminds me to bring sweets/candy for the flight crew especially on long flights. The flight crew feel appreciated and will take extra care of you during your flight 😉
I've heard about this on Tripadvisor, but it's really bizarre to me to give someone you don't know presents.... Then again for me, I don't need free booze on a flight.
Some good tips. My personal favourite is - always bring two full changes of clothes in your carry-on (at least shirt/pants/socks/underwear). That way if your checked luggage gets lost, you have 3 days worth of clothes to wear, and can even wash/dryclean them on rotation if your luggage takes a few days to get to you.
Totally agree, we also make sure that our main bags have a few items of the other person's clothes … we learned this lesson the hard way when one of our bags was lost/left behind.
I like to arrive in layers, and take them off as needed. Using this style allows multiple outfits (sweater, long sleeve, and tee-shirt, shorts under sweat pants or jeans). You will have more room as all you will have to put in your bag are your underwear. Additionally, airports and airplanes have air conditioning. Those of you freeze babies will hate it. Try to eat at home before you go as food in the airport is super expensive. If you are not hungry, bring food with you! Most airports only care about liquids. You can have 10 pounds of cookies and they wouldn't care. They do care about how much your luggage weighs. Not the carry-on like she said (just needs to be within certain dimensions), but the checked bags. And some airlines (United- will charge $200 for going over 70lbs) Remember to put heavier things at the bottom of the bag when packing, and try rolling your clothes to save room. HEADPHONES get them and use them! The airport is one of the biggest, most echoey, loudest places I have ever been in. I like the cheaper Bluetooth brand Soundpeats, but anything that will drown ambient noise is sufficient. I failed this a couple times. So I started wearing them. It gets so quiet sometimes (other's may complain they are too loud, I ask "oh is it quite finally?"), but if they had their own pair on it would not matter. So YES, bring headphones!
After 20 years of travelling internationally as I work for a cruise line I would add the below to your already good list. ALWAYS carry a pen, much needed for arrival cards and flight crew often don't have spares. Put an A4 / letter size page with your Name, Flight number, Arrival location (Either home or your hotel depending on direction of journey) and contact details (Phone / email) inside your luggage. If the bags get "misdirected" and your luggage tags have come off your bag, the airline can easily locate you and forward your bags on to you. If your bags got lost, could you accurately describe them?? As a cruise ship purser I can tell you many people cannot. So prior to checking them in, take a photo on your phone or tablet. Make sure it shows the brand name and take a second picture if needed showing the size and type. The better you can describe "misdirected" bags, the easier it is to locate them.
@@DearOli TSA has keys for almost any luggage lock, airlines will have the same access. If your bag has a personal lock and TSA or the airline must open it, your lock will be cut.
These really are some great tips. I’ve been traveling internationally for 20 years now and have gone through three passports. Prior to 9/11, if there were empty seats in business class or first class, the flight crew would, on occasion, walk through the coach cabin to pull those that they referred to as SFU (suitable for upgrade) due to their appearance. I was often upgraded because of my non-casual dress attire. Nowadays, to receive favorable attention from flight crews, I’d suggest when upon boarding a plane, to hand the attendant who greets you at the door, a box of chocolates and tell them that it’s for the flight crew. It doesn’t have to be an expensive box of chocolates. They will more than appreciate it. Having always done this on international flights I’ve been upgraded, or given an entire row of seats all to myself, received first class dining, been gifted with champagne for the flight, and have had the various flight attendants personally thank me for the gift. It’s an inexpensive way to receive a lot of favors in return.
@@clarafrost3144 Right?! I'd be that awkward person that would somehow end up offending them and now have to spend hours pretending to be asleep anytime they walk by.
Keith Galipo Sorry, but you are mistaken. I was very new to international travel and did not at all have the miles or status to rely on. Unless you were a global services card member (a vip status far above premium and platinum membership that would even have the pilot come out and thank you for flying prior to take-off) it would be unlikely that preferential treatment would be observed or flight status known beyond the gate. Particularly if you were in economy. You would see the flight attendants combing the isles before escorting one or two towards the front cabins. I would literally be told that it was the way I presented as I’d appear more suitable in say, Prada than someone in a tracksuit, sneakers, and an I love LA tee shirt. Prior to 9/11 air travel was a whole different ballgame. I’ve since then traveled enough to have unintentionally learned other ways to gain preferential treatment which I’ve stated above. Having said that, the treatment I’d receive at the customs gate was nearly always polar opposite of what I experienced while flying. Even with my gained status and a nearly million and a quarter miles under my belt. The fact is, whether onboard or off, airline employees will treat you however they see fit regardless of status. Customer care and service are a thing of the past. Flight attendants don’t feel important or appreciated by the airlines like they used to and aren’t as dedicated to a customer’s enjoyment and comfort during a flight, nor do they care to be. That’s why something as simple as a box of chocolates can gain more than you’d imagine it could...
In travelling international, always bring a pen with you. You will need to fill up forms in borders and the last thing you will do is to wait in line just to use the pens that everybody is using. Or asking a stranger to lend you a pen.
Not only that, but I always have extra pens handy for pax who didn't think to bring one. Both they and the flight crew tend to appreciate it! That said, some countries allow you to do this online before arrival - Curacao and Aruba now have an online "embarcation card" - eliminates the onboard paperwork!
When flying with a partner and it’s 3 person rows pick the outside seats leaving the middle open. People pick the middle last so if it’s not a full flight you may get lucky and get the rows to yourself. Has work every time for us but once so far!!! If someone does get there to take the middle you make their day by saying we’ll switch with you for outside because we’re flying together.
Some airlines have stopped letting people do that. I saw some poor guy in the middle and the couple had a baby and they passed the baby back and forth over the middle passenger.. Boy he was mad. The couple did not speak the language of the staff.. and did not use their common sense.
@@DivertLiving In Domestic flight they don't but in International flight Yes you need to take off even my hair tye with metal decor alarm the metal detector as you walk thru.
Love your tips. 1) I want to highlight something you mentioned; NEVER put your bags in an overhead bin which is behind your seat (even one row behind), always ahead of your seat (even if it is 10 rows) so that you can get it easily when getting off the plane. 2) For longer (especially) international flights, make a small pouch (zip lock bag) which has, a pen, ear plugs, ear phones, and a card with passport number and hotel address on it. Keep this handy at your seat. 3) Always sit on the isle for flights longer than 4 hours.
People need to put their carryons over the row they’re sitting in. I have had to put my carryon behind me (5 rows) because people sitting in the back place their bags to the front. I always thought the rule is to always keep an eye on your bag too.
One tip I have for traveling, especially when traveling internationally, is to pack my clothes in clear ziplock bags inside of my luggage. When going through customs the agents will sometimes open your suitcases to check for illegal contraband and if your clothes are in clear ziplock bags they can go through and see what's inside without actually touching your personal items.
My tipis: 1- Take your own pen to fill up the immigration forms. 2-Try to get one of those keychains with flashlight or a pocket flashlight to help you find things in the plane when the lights are out. 3- Pick some change of the currency from the destination country and put in your pockets before you leave the plane,so you won't have to open bags or wallets in public places when you arrive at the airport. 4-Print it all! Even if youe got online tickes, hotel reservations, travel insurance, print it all. Your phone may crack the screen ou run out of batteries at the most critical times, have a printed backup.
Awesome tips! Here's one that most people overlook, bring a pen! Don't be that person that doesn't have a pen to fill out the arrival card. Me. I was that person lol.
Women: please don't shower yourselfs in perfume before getting on a long haul flight. Please. It might be your favorit sent but probably not the persons next to you
As a long distance traveler for the las 30 years I find your hacks true and helpful. First to get on the aircraft is soooo important in Asia where I now live and travel.
I always write all the information needed for the immigration card, on a small piece of paper or small card. Passport numbers, address, flight details (arriving and departing), etc. That way I don't have to look at various documents to find info. All in one place and it saves space on the little tray table where you are trying to write.
Frank Thiart Or, save all info in a note within Evernote or OneNote. As long as your phone has charge, you’re good to go! (Do be sure your phone is passcode-protected, though.)
Not much of an international traveller but one thought. For most major domestic airports, the airline apps will have airport maps which also contain Google Maps style turn by turn directions. Enter arrival gate and departure gate and the app will direct you how to get there. Very nice for those larger airports especially.
@@nenengjames-lefebvre7474 I missed my connecting flight from Washington to Syracuse because of a last minute gate change and I had no idea how far away it was.
Excellent and comprehensive list. I have to add one serious contradiction, however. Never ask for hot water on a plane. This water, as well as that for coffee and tea, comes from the tap water rather than bottles. An EPA sample of 158 planes showed 13 percent contained coliform bacteria. Two of the airplanes were found to have dangerous E.coli in the water. Additionally the spout for this water is never cleaned by the cleaning crews. If you ask them, any flight attendant will admit they never drink the water on planes. Bottle only! Also be careful using those nicely sealed blankets. A flight attendant friend advises me that they are normally just refolded and rebagged. A recent Wall Street Journal released a report explaining that most airlines only clean their blankets every five to 30 days. That means you could be covering yourself up in someone else’s germs when you snuggle that blanket or pillow up to your face. And finally, you are so right Tah about the dirtiest place on the plane. Additionally you want to use your Wet Wipes (you always have these highly useful items with you, don't you?) on the touch screen or the pull out remote control on older planes. Okay, that's enough for today's hygiene lesson. Happy trails.
Robert Lloyd I believe that even the water in the bathroom to wash your hands is gross too! Definitely use hand sanitizer after washing your hands. IJS 🤷🏽♀️
O m g😗 I'm Never using those f. Kg blankets near my body again. They're only for feet and knees. I have a big scarf for a blanket and my hoodie... And mark. I don't care if I look odd.
Wipe where your head rests on your seat too, people don’t wash their hair often and there is a lot of lice out there 🤮 I have a small inflatable neck pillow from ikea, it’s great and also a big scarf so I never use their stuff ! Compression socks help if you get canckles (swollen ankles) after flying !
I always get a aisle for a flight longer than 4 hours so can move around. On your boarding pass for overseas travel add you Passport details and address in destination to save time finding this later
Yes! Absolutely! 100% saved me last time I flew overseas! I was allowed to leave without an issue, but grtting back...if I hadn't taken pictures of my permanent resident visa in my old passport, I'd have been screwed!
Here is my tip, if on a flight over 4hrs I always get an Isle seat, I can go to the toilet or get something out of my bag without bothering anyone, and secondly the arm rest on the Isle has a little sliding switch underneath nearest the hinge and you can tilt the armrest up making the seat a little wider and easier to get up and out of.
Being type 1 Diabetic and crazy long flights and my sugar levels can get crazy and high sugar makes you pee, those 12 hr flights are hell near a window
If I'm going to be somewhere for more than a week I don't bring clothes with me, I just buy stuff when I get there. Except shoes. Don't want to screw around with breaking in new shoes when you're doing a lot of walking. Bring your virtually empty travel pack on board with you. Come back with some nice new clothes. :P
Also bring a few teabags - particularly if you prefer something other than orange pekoe - with you for the plane. I always bring some Earl Grey and a few slices of lemon in a plastic bag.
@@DivertLiving Not really. And depending on where you're going it can be cheaper than buying clothes at home. A shirt or two, t-shirt or two, a couple pair of gitch, socks, and a pair of jeans and khakis.
Before security check, put your glasses, belt, watch, and wallet in your backpack. Bring small pouches with different colors to put different small items such as powerbank, chargers, cables, sanitary stuff, medicine, etc, so you can find your stuff easily.
This! I never use the security bins except for my shoes and laptop. Everything goes into my backpack before security, and comes back out afterwards. I hate having to put my laptop in the bin even! Experimenting with a little fabric sheet under it. So far, so good.
Going through your regular nighttime routine to trick your body into getting ready for sleep is genius. Never thought of that before. I normally just suffer through long haul flights with booze and movies and accept sleep is impossible. Thanks very much for the tip!
I like to have a 3hr transfer for international flights just in-cause of plane delays and weather. It also give me a good chance to stretch and walk around without rushing. Great video. Cheers.
Great tips from both the videos and comments alike. Just wanted to add a couple that I haven't seen.... - pack a pair of comfy lounge pants/pajama bottoms in your backpack and change in the plane bathroom after take-off and an hour before landing...makes the flight so much more bearable - wear Crocs through security and on the plane....it's simple to take off/put on, plus super comfy on long flights (paired with your favorite lounge pants) - bring an insulated coffee mug in addition to an empty water bottle...you can put hot and cold beverage during the layover, and it keeps the temp longer, make sure to empty the mug, and fill the water bottle before your connecting flight - pack some instant coffee packets/tea bags in your backpack...you can always ask some food vendors at the airport for hot water and maybe ask the flight attendant to microwave the water from your water bottle later in the flight - secure your carry-one and personal bags with a small combination bike lock at the airport....it gives me peace of mine knowing I sleep between flights and not worry about bags disappearing - carry along USB cord extenders (Dollar Tree) and USB port splitter (Five Below)...it just makes things easier in the airport and on the plane if you need to charge more than 1 thing a a time - for long-haul flights, I usually do not sleep the night before....I know this sounds strange, but I'm usually paranoid about forgetting something or sometimes too excited about my trip that I have serious insomnia. This actually helps when the long leg of the trip starts as I am not as fidgety on the plane and just crash - bring 2 wallets, one for U.S. Currency, Driver's Licence, etc. to keep at the hotel safe, and the other for local denominations with a laminated copy of your passport and driver's licence....this is the one you give to the mugger! - don't forget to bring some paperclips...it doubles up as a SIM card tray pop-up tool, as well as toothpick in emergency situations....not to mention keeping your passport and boarding pass together - keeping on the office supply theme, take a large binder clip with some rubber bands...you can McGuyver yourself a cell phone holder clipped to the seat-back tray table latch....you can keep your phone secured even while eating! Hope this helps. Safe travels to everyone!
My best travel tip is NEVER CHECK BAGS. Anything you check can get lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed, plus if you have all your stuff with you, you have much greater flexibility in your travel plans. You can standby for an earlier flight, you can change routing, you'll get priority if you volunteer to give up your seat (for $$$) because they won't have to pull your bag off the flight. If you think there's no way you can pack everything you need in your carry-on/personal item, you're mistaken.
Absolutely correct about not needing a checked bag. You can even use a moderately large backpack as a personal item and a moderately oversized duffel bag as a carry-on as long as neither has wheels, in my experience. This worked for me on a 10-day round trip to London from America.
Where connections are concerned I always ensure there is at least 3 hours between flights, I'd rather be bored killing time than risk missing my next flight. The 'my flight' Google hack works a treat.
Pen, paper, BLk sharpie, Unrolled 2” surgical tape (then rerolled into a thick plastic/old credit card, a pair of shoelaces/thick sturdy string and the basic emergency kit. Weird but I can’t leave the house without, domestic or intl, it does come in handy! Also I bring a malong (is a traditional Filipino "tube skirt") can be worn as scarf, skirt, a blanket if you cut it (in case if you really have to!) endless possibilities!! PS: traveling with an 8 year old ? there’s a whole different list for that! 😉
One thing I always forgot is to pack something to remove the SIM card I've used while traveling so I can pop in the one from my home city on the return flight. Makes getting an Uber at the airport a lot easier with a working phone ;) So, now I always make sure I have a few paper clips in my carry-on.
I’m not too experienced of a traveller, but what I would suggest is to put something on your luggage that makes it easily identifiable. Like for my luggage, its mostly black or brown, which are very common colours for suitcases. So what I would usually do is put stickers or wrap a scarf around it, or put a brightly coloured tag with my name, address, phone number, travel destination, email, etc., because chances are that your suitcase might get mixed up with someone else’s. Not to mention that the name tag also helps if your luggage is lost or misplaced. It’s honestly a win-win situation.
Surprised by how good these advices really are, this is actually quite useful. Thanks! It's just one thing I can't quite get my head around, and #13 and the minimum connection time of 1h30m. If it's on one single ticket the airline will have to rebook you on to the next flight if you miss your connection and provide food/hotel if nessecary. In Europe you might even get up to €600 compensation. So there isn't really a huge problem if you miss your connection once in a while. I usually miss at least 7-8 connections a year (of 150 flights). If it's on separate ticket I always book with 2 hours on the ground, which is the minimum time required for my travel insurance to come into effect. That way I will get the additonal expenses covered if I miss my connecting flight.
Perhaps, but what if there is no onward flight that day and you had something planned later that day in your destination. I keep a list of flights and times for onward flights ... by having this info it helps a transfer agent and they are more willing to help me :)
Yes, a great tip about the compensation in Europe. If your connecting flight is cancelled, you may get a bonus stay-over in a different country, with a great meal and some cash compensation, as a nice bonus! This happened to me in Amsterdam on the way to Italy for a conference. I had arrived a few days early so I enjoyed the night in the Netherlands.
One more tip from me, if you don't have free international roaming (myself T-Mobile); bring an old budget unlocked phone used, load it with all your apps that are useful just for your destination. When you arrive, you often can buy a pre-paid SIM at the airport, stick it in and away you go. You're not disturbing your home used apps and you can just clear out the phone when you're done with your trip. Or look into using your main carrier on eSIM and reserve the physical SIM slot for the destination SIM. Many newer iPhone and Androids have the eSIM feature that makes it essentially a dual sim phone.
Clean everything you touch ! ..best way is with wet wipes but open the pack and tip in some original Listerine mouth wash ....sounds strange I know but Listerine is a mild antiseptic and germicide, it also repels insects ... also use the wipes as a deodorant and face and hand wash in an emergency Always sit in an aisle seat If you're prone to bloating on flights you can ask the flight attendant for a seat belt extender which lengthens the seat belt to allow you to be more comfortable Only ever drink bottled water on a flight Loved your tip to goggle 'my past flights' ...it really works ....Thanks !
Thanks. I have a tip: People can get sick from traveling in an airplane, (close quarters). I sure have. I make sure and take immune boosters before I fly AND while I am on the flight I bring hand sanitizers, but the thing I really love is that in a small zip sandwich size bag I pack a damp washcloth with 1 drop of certain essential oils. Some essential oils are natural disinfectants, peppermint oil, orange oil, lemon oil, lavender oil, clove oil ... ONLY 1 drop oregano oil (powerful). (you can buy combos of oils like On Guard from doterra and that is a lot cheaper. In that case just add three or four drops of the combination oil). I first mix the oil/oils in 1 Teaspoon of alcohol to diffuse, then I mix with 1/4 cup water and dip,.. or pour over the facecloth to dampen it. Squeeze out excess water. I pack in zip bag, and in an easy to reach place in my "on board" baggage, then while in flight, I can put over my nose and face to restore moisture, and at the end of the flight, I can wash my face and wash up with the cloth...refreshing and sanitizing. It also helps to put over your nose if there are bad smells on the flight. Breathing while the cloth is over your face while in flight helps to fight airborne germs. You're welcome.
Get to the airport extra early. In September I had a layover in Vietnam for a few days and didn't get a Visa. Since I got there early, I was able to get one online before my flight. Also, anything can happen on the way to the airport.
If you cant afford extra baggage always buy a pack of gum at the airport and asl for a bag. And KEEP that bag! You can add books/extra food/kids toys/ anything into the bag and go to the airport and no one will charge you for it! My mom does this all the time and as long as it's a gift shop bag they wont charge you for extra bags (:
I have a total knee replacement so always have to be checked with wand or rubdown. To save time I wear slip on shoes, and trousers (511s) which have a semi elasticated waist so no belt, also helps with bloating, not so tight. I also use the old fashioned bum bag(fanny pack) for my passport, wallet tickets pen etc. which I tend to wear across my body. This then goes in the tray with shoes and hand luggage. I always indicate that I have the metal knee. My surgeon even provided me with a business card with a copy of my x-ray details and his details that I can produce! Good tip about the meal tray and belt buckle.
For international long haul flights Drink rehydrates a few hours before and during flight. Nose spray helps a lot with dry air. Slippers. (People can be messy in the toilet) Mouth Wash (Less than 100ml) Roll on (Less than 100ml) Wet wipes. Most IMPORTANT: BE FRIENDLY to your flight attendant (they can make your flight very pleasant)
1, make sure to use baby powder or talc to cut down on chafing from sitting down for long periods 2 sit near the back if not in a rush, often more empty seats, can get up easier to stretch at the back. 3, slip on shoes esp for the states. 4, plastic belt for travel day
Great tips, guys! I have been using all these hacks for quite a while so my travels have been pretty easy so far. But when it comes to medication, i am sure to bring my own. And always bring wet wipes, it is so handy! 👍
I stand by the connection time thing. Ive paid $50 more for flights that have 2.5 hour connecting flights minimum bc ive had flights leave early and flights arrive late. Definitely give yourself a TON of time without having to rush
Lots of great information. Thanks. From experience flying from the Philippines back to L.A., I developed pink eye, the pain, burning sensation, and applying cool compress constantly for hours was very uncomfortable. Washing hands is important for me now and when in the airport, I avoid touching anything. Also, along with anti-diarrheal pills, Tylenol, I make sure I have a tube of antibiotics ointment just in case.
I caught that too. For those wondering, the definition of humid: (adjective) - containing or characterized by a great deal of water vapor Therefore, something can't be both dry and humid. I have never been on a humid flight.
Thank you for your tips. We're seniors and we e will make our final trip half way round the world in 2022. From Singapore, San Francisco, Vancouver BC, Niagara falls, Montreal, NYC, Miami. 5 days cruise and 5 days in Japan then home to the Philippines. Thank you for your blog and tips 😊
Another issue with very short connecting times is that the checked in bags often don't make the flight in time so you have the extra headache of trying to trace them or have them forwarded. Also as you don't know your bags are still sitting at thae last airport you wait at the carousel until the very last bag appears wasting even more time .
Compression socks for long flights. Made the mistake not wearing them on a 10 hr flight and my feet/ankles were swollen out of shape for 4-5 days. Never forgot them after that!
This is one of the best travel videos I've seen. There are thousands of videos that all repeat the same stuff, but you guys are truly original. Saving for future use!
These tips are gold. Thank you very much! Always pack light even on international flights if you plan to use domestic flights wherever you're going (esp Asia), they have lower baggage allowance so you'll pay a lot of baggage fees if you carry more than that.
Thank you both so much! My wife will be flying long haul to Mexico very soon. You help to take the tension away. Thank you for your kindness in sharing. Perry
We always remember to tell a family member where we are going and how to reach us. We usually send an email or other communication regularly. Also, have a few bucks hidden in luggage just encase our main wallets are lost or stolen.
great video ! The only thing I'd like to add is that you should use caution asking a flight attendant to fill your water bottle. Instead, ask for a bottle of water, and fill it yourself. There's always a chance your bottle could get filled off of the planes water storage system. And you really really don't want to start a vacation drinking that ! Again, great video, keep up the great work. It is appreciated.
The only hack I use is that I make sure I don’t have enough sleep prior to my flight and it definitely works because during my 16hour flight from The philippines to Toronto, I slept mostly of the entire flight-like 10 hours which made the flight a short one. I’m planning to do this hack again this December.
You two are great, once again thanks for all the useful tips and suggestions. Your references in the video description are priceless too. Keep up the great work and as always I will be looking forward to your future travel posts.😁😁😁😁
Being someone who has experience working at the airport. Getting seats towards the front of the aircraft with tight connections doesn't always help. Also you can't always be the first when to board the aircraft. Lot of airlines go by zones or rows
#11. This happened to us in Charlotte, NC. Debarked from Seattle, depart gate whatever 4. Boarding time came, and went. Rechecked marquis, changed to gate 5. No flights out, had to stay in roach motel (only thing available, should have slept airport, been there). At least Uber driver let us stop at Walgreens for wine.
Great tips! I locked in a First Class r/t from San Jose CA to LAX r/t for $118 r/t the end of the month . This is $20 less that coach with luggage, Alaska Lounge Access and bonus miles and EQM I have found that paying up front to fly First Class works well. How to enter a lounge if you don't have access. Dress the part and wait for the line to get long. Walk right in and say We just went shopping and they will mostly let you in. It worked in China LAX etc.
My top tips to avoid lost luggage: 1. Tape decorative duct tape at the bottom, sides (in the shape of your initials) & handles of your luggage 2. Insert your email address & destination address in a waterproof bag inside your luggage 3. Take pictures of all sides of your luggage, including the top layer of how it's packed 4. Engrave your initials on handles & wheels Happy travels to y'all! Remain sane and safe!🤗😊
An old tip from a former work colleague - in case of lost luggage, take a photo of your luggage before checking it in. (in his day, my colleague took a polaroid).
Awesome tips and you guys did a great job putting this video together. We have been following your journey for a while now and you always provide great content and it''s always getting better. thanks for the tips.
Once I noticed the irritating background music I could not un-hear it. Anyway, get on as early as possible, compression socks for longer flights, have your secondary bag (backpack) organized and know where stuff is, try to bring some of your own snacks, noise cancelling headsets if you fly often, and comfortable clothes aka dont dress up or for show be comfortable.
I always bring two to three clear zipseal bags. I've used them to protect things I want to prevent from getting wet like my phone, separate my cash so I'm not carrying it all on my person, and it came in handy when I went to Ireland where I had to separate my liquids according to their different rules. Someone already mentioned bringing at least 1 pen for customs forms. I always bring a 6 outlet power stick since some accommodations don't have a lot of sockets and it's a good way to make friends at the airport since airports are stingy with sockets sometimes too.
Either put all your bit and pieces in your bag (like belt, phone etc,) or use ziplock bags to keep them together before you use the tray at security. Seen so many people wandering around looking for things they forgot in the trays.
My long-haul travel top-tip : invest in a pair of Noise canceling head-sets ! (the soft padded ones that completely cover your ears !)... you won't believe the difference !!
Great content! Thank you for sharing 👌🏻 My tip: check in online specially if you only have your carry on luggage/bag as most airports have designated express check in counters for those people who did check in online (airline mobile app)
My nose drys out so much during long flights that it keeps me from sleeping well. I have found that Nasogel helps this SO much! It keeps things hydrated and comes in a small, travel-friendly bottle.
I'll be sharing this video on my FB page. I saw 20 Travel Hacks from you guys, I said, let me watch that right now, because if anyone knows from travel, it's you two! Thanks to you and whoever else shared their tips in these comments for helping us viewers/readers out! I travel just often enough to forget what I learned the hard way last trip!
So your comment on the connecting flights is something that I've experienced. I had a connecting flight that was in 45 minutes, I missed the connecting flight because the first flight was like right on time and I didn't have time to run from one gate to the other. But thankfully, Air Lingus put me up in a hotel for the night. Gave me free food vouchers. And put me on a flight the next morning. I wasn't in any rush to get to my final destination, so I didn't mind the wait.
If you smoke cigarettes, many airports in Asia have smoking lounges within the airport, often with built-in lighters (in case yours was confiscated). If you have a longer layover, you can exit the airport to have a smoke but make sure you have enough time to go through security again. It's kinda nice to walk around and stand outside during a long day of travel.

Hi. Should come and visit Central America. Costa Rica. El Salvador and Nicaragua. Beautiful countries. And interesting cultures.😉
Thats such a good idea!
Excellent advise...complies with my personal travel rule..." don't pack anything that can't fulfill at least 3 functions.
Reminds me of 'Towels' from HHGTTG 😂
after arriving at your destination, go stand in some direct sunlight (can be through a window you don't need to be outside) at noon for around 15 mins this will also help reset your body clock for the current time zone also you'll get some needed vit D.
Ahhh that may help!
This is excellent advise...use the sun to help reset your rhythm.
Just a few from an airline ramper (aka baggage handler aka glowing orange stick guy)
(e.g. lost, duplicates without tags, etc.)
Thanks!
Wow, great list of tips! [I ♡ BAGGAGE HANDLERS] (-:
As a fellow ramper this list is great!
5. That is so unprofessional. Some people carry breakable stuff, and those handlers ignore the sticker, what, because they hate their job/life?
Do you have any advice on ear plugs? Those orange 3M ear plugs? I love using them but Im afraid of using them on a flight and that blocks my ear canal to naturally adjust to the altitude.
I am 100% adding a "I love BAGgage HANDLERS" on my bag when I get home
My sister is a flight attendant and she always reminds me to bring sweets/candy for the flight crew especially on long flights. The flight crew feel appreciated and will take extra care of you during your flight 😉
Thats such a great idea!
Karen, admit you're that sweet tooth
attendant :-P
What kind of candy? :)
I've heard about this on Tripadvisor, but it's really bizarre to me to give someone you don't know presents.... Then again for me, I don't need free booze on a flight.
@Anonymous Anonymous who gives a shit.
Such a great idea!
Totally agree, we also make sure that our main bags have a few items of the other person's clothes … we learned this lesson the hard way when one of our bags was lost/left behind.
by the same principle, when travelling from a warm to cold place, pack the wind breaker or winter coat in the cabin bag.
And some airlines (United- will charge $200 for going over 70lbs)
Remember to put heavier things at the bottom of the bag when packing,
and try rolling your clothes to save room.
So YES, bring headphones!
or just buy new underwear lol
Great tip!
As an airline bag handler....THIS. If you put your info in the bag, we'll get it to you quickly.
While traveling with a buddy he gave me shit for ensureing I had a pen! I am glad I am not the only smart traveler out there!
@@sharkbaitstudios55 Would you guys open the bag ? What if there is a lock or a security code lock like on most Samsonite bags nowadays?
@@DearOli TSA has keys for almost any luggage lock, airlines will have the same access. If your bag has a personal lock and TSA or the airline must open it, your lock will be cut.
Send your copy of your passport to your own email address. This way you can print it anywhere. In case you lose all of those other copies...
Thats a great idea!
Upload flight materials to cloud storage?
Better upload it to your Cloud Solution such as G Drive or G Photos.
How on earth would that work? No customs agent or official is going to accept a photocopy of a passport.
@@lecutter9382 I'm thinking it might help you get a replacement faster. At least I think that's what was meant.
Hi please anthony can you give me your contact details i want to talk
I'm way too shy to do this
@@clarafrost3144 Right?! I'd be that awkward person that would somehow end up offending them and now have to spend hours pretending to be asleep anytime they walk by.
Upgrades have nothing to do with appearance, its your airline staus.
Great call!
Not only that, but I always have extra pens handy for pax who didn't think to bring one. Both they and the flight crew tend to appreciate it! That said, some countries allow you to do this online before arrival - Curacao and Aruba now have an online "embarcation card" - eliminates the onboard paperwork!
That’s great ! I remember in Jamaica it was a hustle to get a pen and slowed us down so much that now I have extra few pen in my bag :)
I finally learned that as well. Great tip
Great tip!
Some airlines have stopped letting people do that. I saw some poor guy in the middle and the couple had a baby and they passed the baby back and forth over the middle passenger.. Boy he was mad. The couple did not speak the language of the staff.. and did not use their common sense.
Wear comfortable slip on and off shoes. Easy to go through security
They dont really make you take shoes off anymore
I don't own any bit I wear shoes with a strap so I can easily take it off.
@@DivertLiving they do in some airport / countries
@@DivertLiving In Domestic flight they don't but in International flight Yes you need to take off even my hair tye with metal decor alarm the metal detector as you walk thru.
Yes they do ! I just flew to Florida and they most certainly do !
Such great tips!
People need to put their carryons over the row they’re sitting in. I have had to put my carryon behind me (5 rows) because people sitting in the back place their bags to the front. I always thought the rule is to always keep an eye on your bag too.
I remember literally racing my sisters down the Aisle for the aisle seat on a 12 hour flight . I wasn’t even a kid this was three years ago 😂
#20 - You haven't obviously flown Ryanair. The only thing they don't weigh or measure is YOU.
hahahah no we havent flown with them
You are absolutely right!! They will weigh your bags and then weigh them again. They charge for everything.
@@christinan3983 Really were planning to take Ryanair because it's cheap flight but I need to reconsider this time
And if you want hot water, as I did once for cold remedy, they charge you for a cup of tea!
Great tip!

Please.
It might be your favorit sent but probably not the persons next to you
Agreed. And some of men's after shave is killer! A fresh clean soap scent will do nicely!
no some men will enjoy the smell
I'm extremely sensitive to scents, have gotten off flights with headaches or migraines due to sitting next to a person with strong perfume/cologne.
@@spoonkiller7elie No, they really won't.

As a long distance traveler for the las 30 years I find your hacks true and helpful. First to get on the aircraft is soooo important in Asia where I now live and travel.
Thank you so much! Really happy you like it :)
I always write all the information needed for the immigration card, on a small piece of paper or small card. Passport numbers, address, flight details (arriving and departing), etc. That way I don't have to look at various documents to find info. All in one place and it saves space on the little tray table where you are trying to write.
Thats a great tip!
Frank Thiart Or, save all info in a note within Evernote or OneNote. As long as your phone has charge, you’re good to go! (Do be sure your phone is passcode-protected, though.)
I use google keep its similar to evernote but way to easy to pull up info when you need it. No document shuffling
Erwin, what do you mean by “use google” in writing notes?
Rowe Sergent look for Google Keep app ios or android.
Tip: pack stuff in separate ziploc bags for easy access and use medical tape to seal bottles that might spill.

Why medical tape as opposed to other types of tape?
@@user-ec2kd8sz3t they're small cloth-like rolls that are very adhesive but easy to peel off.
Not much of an international traveller but one thought. For most major domestic airports, the airline apps will have airport maps which also contain Google Maps style turn by turn directions. Enter arrival gate and departure gate and the app will direct you how to get there. Very nice for those larger airports especially.
Ahh this is amazing never been in an Airport long enough to use the app
thank you for sharing, I'd almost miss my flight on Chicago O'hare when the gate changed on last minutes...

Compression socks help if you get canckles (swollen ankles) after flying !
I always get a aisle for a flight longer than 4 hours so can move around. On your boarding pass for overseas travel add you Passport details and address in destination to save time finding this later
Also screenshot all of your flight info and your passport and your ID cards, it could save you some trouble
So true!
Yes! Absolutely! 100% saved me last time I flew overseas! I was allowed to leave without an issue, but grtting back...if I hadn't taken pictures of my permanent resident visa in my old passport, I'd have been screwed!
I am left handed, so I naturally gravitate towards the left side anyway. The tip about marking luggage as fragile is brilliant, though.
Ahhh hope it helps!
Ahh that is super good info!
Wife and I both get aisles either across or front/back of each other. It's hard to hold hands across the aisle 😁
Being type 1 Diabetic and crazy long flights and my sugar levels can get crazy and high sugar makes you pee, those 12 hr flights are hell near a window
I get the window instead. Don't want to get up every time someone wants to use the lavatory. I can just keep on sleeping.
Not all planes have that little switch! I always get an aisle seat and have been disappointed that some aisle-side armrests don't go up.
Ahhh ok! That sounds expensive haha
Great tips!
This is one of my favorite things to do. Certainly speeds getting through security.
This! I never use the security bins except for my shoes and laptop. Everything goes into my backpack before security, and comes back out afterwards. I hate having to put my laptop in the bin even! Experimenting with a little fabric sheet under it. So far, so good.
I always take melatonin on a flight five hours or more. From Chicago to Seoul to Bangkok, a two hour nap and no jet lag!
Thats a great idea!
Going through your regular nighttime routine to trick your body into getting ready for sleep is genius. Never thought of that before. I normally just suffer through long haul flights with booze and movies and accept sleep is impossible. Thanks very much for the tip!
Hope it helps!
I like to have a 3hr transfer for international flights just in-cause of plane delays and weather. It also give me a good chance to stretch and walk around without rushing. Great video. Cheers.
Thank you so much! This is the perfect amount of time!
I love turbulance. Feels like a rollercoaster.
Great tips from both the videos and comments alike. Just wanted to add a couple that I haven't seen....
- pack a pair of comfy lounge pants/pajama bottoms in your backpack and change in the plane bathroom after take-off and an hour before landing...makes the flight so much more bearable
- wear Crocs through security and on the plane....it's simple to take off/put on, plus super comfy on long flights (paired with your favorite lounge pants)
- bring an insulated coffee mug in addition to an empty water bottle...you can put hot and cold beverage during the layover, and it keeps the temp longer, make sure to empty the mug, and fill the water bottle before your connecting flight
- pack some instant coffee packets/tea bags in your backpack...you can always ask some food vendors at the airport for hot water and maybe ask the flight attendant to microwave the water from your water bottle later in the flight
- secure your carry-one and personal bags with a small combination bike lock at the airport....it gives me peace of mine knowing I sleep between flights and not worry about bags disappearing
- carry along USB cord extenders (Dollar Tree) and USB port splitter (Five Below)...it just makes things easier in the airport and on the plane if you need to charge more than 1 thing a a time
- for long-haul flights, I usually do not sleep the night before....I know this sounds strange, but I'm usually paranoid about forgetting something or sometimes too excited about my trip that I have serious insomnia. This actually helps when the long leg of the trip starts as I am not as fidgety on the plane and just crash
- bring 2 wallets, one for U.S. Currency, Driver's Licence, etc. to keep at the hotel safe, and the other for local denominations with a laminated copy of your passport and driver's licence....this is the one you give to the mugger!
- don't forget to bring some paperclips...it doubles up as a SIM card tray pop-up tool, as well as toothpick in emergency situations....not to mention keeping your passport and boarding pass together
- keeping on the office supply theme, take a large binder clip with some rubber bands...you can McGuyver yourself a cell phone holder clipped to the seat-back tray table latch....you can keep your phone secured even while eating!
Hope this helps. Safe travels to everyone!
Thank you so much for the input!
Do airplanes have microwave ovens? I was told they did not.
That's so true, sitting near the wings during turbulence is the best spot! If you sit way in the back you're gonna feel an extra shake.
yes so so true
I thought people get used to this! I never have lol

PS: traveling with an 8 year old
? there’s a whole different list for that! 😉
Ahh i bet there is but we dont know what that list is just yet haha
One thing I always forgot is to pack something to remove the SIM card I've used while traveling so I can pop in the one from my home city on the return flight. Makes getting an Uber at the airport a lot easier with a working phone ;)
So, now I always make sure I have a few paper clips in my carry-on.
HAhaha yea this is essential!
Such a good idea! thank you! I guess this is if you check in luggage. We dont do that so thats why we don't really worry about it
Divert Living ah, right. This might not apply to everyone, but I thought I'd put it out there anyways 🤷🏾♀️
I take that rule as well not only about the hassle of missing a flight but also to make sure my checked luggage makes it on the plane with me.
You guys are so down to earth and relatable!
Thank you so much!
Clean everything you touch ! ..best way is with wet wipes but open the pack and tip in some original Listerine mouth wash ....sounds strange I know but Listerine is a mild antiseptic and germicide, it also repels insects ... also use the wipes as a deodorant and face and hand wash in an emergency Always sit in an aisle seat
If you're prone to bloating on flights you can ask the flight attendant for a seat belt extender which lengthens the seat belt to allow you to be more comfortable
Only ever drink bottled water on a flight
Loved your tip to goggle 'my past flights' ...it really works ....Thanks !
This is a great idea!
Ahhh thats such great advice!
Yep good one!
Great tips! Thank you so much!
Early flights are also less likely to experience delays.
Loving your content!!
Thank you so much!
For international long haul flights
Drink rehydrates a few hours before and during flight.
Nose spray helps a lot with dry air.
Slippers. (People can be messy in the toilet)
Mouth Wash (Less than 100ml)
Roll on (Less than 100ml)
Wet wipes.
Most IMPORTANT: BE FRIENDLY to your flight attendant (they can make your flight very pleasant)
Don’t be a jerk to the flight crew.
True
@@DivertLiving, they deal with a lot. Niceness goes a long way.
1, make sure to use baby powder or talc to cut down on chafing from sitting down for long periods
2 sit near the back if not in a rush, often more empty seats, can get up easier to stretch at the back.
3, slip on shoes esp for the states.
4, plastic belt for travel day
Great tips, guys! I have been using all these hacks for quite a while so my travels have been pretty easy so far. But when it comes to medication, i am sure to bring my own. And always bring wet wipes, it is so handy! 👍
That does help a lot! Never know when you need them
I stand by the connection time thing.
Great video! I’ve watched a lot of “travel hack” videos and this really did have several tips I hadn’t heard before.
Thank you! Thats what we were trying to do!
8:35 "its very dry and humid"
I caught that too.
For those wondering, the definition of humid: (adjective) - containing or characterized by a great deal of water vapor
Therefore, something can't be both dry and humid.
I have never been on a humid flight.
I think she meant "arid"
First thing I caught..lol.She is adorable.
This was STUPID INFORMATIVE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO ❤️
This is a great video! Lots of unusual tips I had never seen before, rather than the same suggestions that get posted time and again. Thanks!
Another issue with very short connecting times is that the checked in bags often don't make the flight in time so you have the extra headache of trying to trace them or have them forwarded. Also as you don't know your bags are still sitting at thae last airport you wait at the carousel until the very last bag appears wasting even more time .
So so true! Thats why we only travel with carry on :)
Compression socks for long flights. Made the mistake not wearing them on a 10 hr flight and my feet/ankles were swollen out of shape for 4-5 days. Never forgot them after that!
Ahh ive never heard of this tip! Thank you!
Bought my compression socks at a pharmacy. They measured my foot and ankle for proper size.
This is one of the best travel videos I've seen. There are thousands of videos that all repeat the same stuff, but you guys are truly original. Saving for future use!
Thank you so much!
@@DivertLiving you're welcome! :)
These tips are gold. Thank you very much! Always pack light even on international flights if you plan to use domestic flights wherever you're going (esp Asia), they have lower baggage allowance so you'll pay a lot of baggage fees if you carry more than that.
Thank yuo so much!
I’d almost forgotten about the address tip! Thank you for the reminder.
Have a great trip!
This is a great idea!
My favorite pastime before and during flights is watching air crash investigations. Pretty relaxing
great video !
Ahhh ok! Thank you so much!
The only hack I use is that I make sure I don’t have enough sleep prior to my flight and it definitely works because during my 16hour flight from The philippines to Toronto, I slept mostly of the entire flight-like 10 hours which made the flight a short one. I’m planning to do this hack again this December.
I do this all the time
You two are great, once again thanks for all the useful tips and suggestions. Your references in the video description are priceless too. Keep up the great work and as always I will be looking forward to your future travel posts.😁😁😁😁
Thank you so much Gary!
Being someone who has experience working at the airport. Getting seats towards the front of the aircraft with tight connections doesn't always help. Also you can't always be the first when to board the aircraft. Lot of airlines go by zones or rows
Only take carry on luggage, that's my #1 travel tip. People take too much rubbish.
Thats all we do :)
#11. This happened to us in Charlotte, NC. Debarked from Seattle, depart gate whatever 4. Boarding time came, and went. Rechecked marquis, changed to gate 5. No flights out, had to stay in roach motel (only thing available, should have slept
airport, been there). At least Uber driver let us stop at Walgreens for wine.
Awesome tips guys and video presentation! ✈🙂💺
Thank you so much!
Great tips! I locked in a First Class r/t from San Jose CA to LAX r/t for $118 r/t the end of the month . This is $20 less that coach with luggage, Alaska Lounge Access and bonus miles and EQM
I have found that paying up front to fly First Class works well.
How to enter a lounge if you don't have access. Dress the part and wait for the line to get long. Walk right in and say We just went shopping and they will mostly let you in. It worked in China LAX etc.
My top tips to avoid lost luggage:
1. Tape decorative duct tape at the bottom, sides (in the shape of your initials) & handles of your luggage
2. Insert your email address & destination address in a waterproof bag inside your luggage
3. Take pictures of all sides of your luggage, including the top layer of how it's packed
4. Engrave your initials on handles & wheels
Happy travels to y'all!
Thank you so much guys!
Time zones: I have my smartphone set up to track my location. That way, it's always knows the correct time and I never have to change it.
Thats super smart!
Sorry you didnt like it, thanks for the great tips!
Thanks! Traveling in just a few days during this pandemic chaos. Some of your tips are actually practical and will be useful. Cheers
Ahhhh Ceptics will help with this as well!
Something you guys should use is Sea bands, they help a lot so you won't feel headaches and stomach
That connecting flight swap to seat closer to the front was a good tip guys 😗 i always ask for front seats- them queues when you land 😅
It helps! :)
Either put all your bit and pieces in your bag (like belt, phone etc,) or use ziplock bags to keep them together before you use the tray at security. Seen so many people wandering around looking for things they forgot in the trays.
"physics and stuff" 😂
great tips! thanks for sharing guys! great video!
hahahahhaa
My long-haul travel top-tip : invest in a pair of Noise canceling head-sets ! (the soft padded ones that completely cover your ears !)... you won't believe the difference !!
teutonic03 yessss. Bose QC35 V1 and not V2 comes with the airplane headphone adaptor. Noise cancelling changes the game with flying.
Great content! Thank you for sharing 👌🏻
My tip: check in online specially if you only have your carry on luggage/bag as most airports have designated express check in counters for those people who did check in online (airline mobile app)
Love doing this!
This is very helpful I think. It will add to my favorite Travel Hack. My travel bag hack, Nomad Lane Bento Bag!
My nose drys out so much during long flights that it keeps me from sleeping well. I have found that Nasogel helps this SO much! It keeps things hydrated and comes in a small, travel-friendly bottle.
Such a good idea!
Hmmm, gonna try this. I have panic attacks because of no air circulation. Those little air blowers are not enough.
Thank you so much!
These are some great tips 👍🏽 really interesting with the turbulence, left lane and the germs at security - but generally all good❣️
Good tips, weird video vibe. Its like i’m being threatened but at the same time motivated? Hahaha
HAhahhahha i dont understand!
Yea its no fun missing flights!
I have learned to always look at the layover time when selecting flight. Especially if going through a larger airport like O'Hare.
Ahh yea we have noticed that!
If i stick my lighter in my Cigarette Pack very rarely does it get taken, but if its not in there 99.9% of the time its taken..
