Here's the problem. China made $11T in GDP increase since joing WTO, during the same period US made $13T. China raised 800M people out of poverty , but US has more people become homeless. It is the distribution of wealth unfortunately.

Then check out the net worth of these politicians (both parties!) and their families : when they first take office and when they finally leave (usually kicking and screaming in the80s and beyond…..god how they love power!). Not only do we elect "idiots" BUT the media elevates/magnifies them by putting them TV and making them stars! How is that helpful for our society. As a school teacher, I have to daily teach against bullying. Being a bully is bad. It is a schoolwide intiative, BUT the biggest bully ever is seen, magnified and applauded daily on all media platforms as some type of hero. Sunny is right. It produces a permanent underclass. I see it as a school teacher of 30 years.

I'm puzzled that no one says a thing about cajillions in money to big business and ultra rich, but the minute a single mom gets some cheese and toilet paper they are like, wait a minute we're is that money coming from. It's $174,000/year for the House and the Senate. Just to put into perspective, metropolitan city council persons make around $120,000/year. It's NOT easy to make over a $100K a year salary. "We" should also put some blame to the people that VOTED in those districts that elected MAGA politicians. Because that is WHAT they WANTED. They believed that voting for MAGA politicians will provide them with more wealth and more rights. That's why it is IMPORTANT to re-invent policies. For example, re-invent affirmative actions to include everyone with common denominators. For example, first in the family to get into college, percentage of disposable income that can be used towards the cost of a college education, residency - resides in the county, city, and state where the college is located, etc. Things like that. That are not ethnic or racial related. Re-invent Affirmative Action, but NOT limit Affirmative Action. There is a difference between re-inventing and limiting. NOT the same.
