I believe that the birds only remove hard lock and they still can soft lock into you and only the ult is the one that prevents all kinds of lock.
Another underrated technique for this jutsu are clones. If you sub with a clone they stay locked on to it so you have a small window for the slice where they haven't found you. Running multi shadow clones is your safest bet and running water clone deals the biggest damage. The shadow clone tool also works. For example stun them with icicle swallow or paper shield, then activate the clone tool, then slice.
Another way to loose lock on is occasionally heavenly handpower. Meaning Paralysis or seal tags fake into swap into slice is also a possible big damage combo
I just hope this is a trend because it's no surprise that Range is the weakest class in the game. I love flying Raijin jutsu but I have to say I'm a little disappointed because the previous one for attacks had damage, hyper armor and great combo potential whilst this one feels like a slight damage boost. Hope we get some insane range dlcs soon

Called range for a reason. You aren’t meant to be in the middle taking damage. You attack from a distance, also why range has the lowest health. It would be broken if you could attack from a distance and have armour

you can also use moonlit medicine which heals you, gives you less charge up on chakra jump and makes you go invisible
I really like your shinobi striker videos, so here it is an idea for one... You could build the ultimate ideal team. Basically, what jutsus a team would need to use to be optimized for most of the situations!? From time to time you could do a video update to consider if the recent dlc jutsus make that list or not.
Believe it or not a hidden trick about this jutsu it also cancels out sharigan(when activated). I’ve been hit out of it multiple times

Loadout Tryout-Uchiha Formation/Obito, Space Time Hop/Final valet Sasuke, Rasengan Fusion Ult/Kawaki n Boruto, Long Sword Weapon/Zabuza, Yamatos Tree reaching jutsu 😂 it’s broken with an outfit that gives you a ninjutsu and ult cooldown this loadout lets you get your ult 2 times in a match

I hav a question I can’t find some dlcs in the store like I can choose them in vr but can’t buy them ther’just not there?
So basically this jutsu is like the Rinnegan Chidori from Sasuke last battle but for range
I really wish we can get the dmg buff even when they're soft locked, the jutsu forces you to sneak around and be as defensive as possible just so you can get proper dmg
So you just want free dmg free damage 🤣

Jutsu:
Shiden (purple lightning) - chidori variant
Earth Style Wall - counter attack/substitution that stuns the opponent upon contact with lightning style sub (ranged or melee)
Sub:
Summons hounds that attack opponent if they make contact
Ult:
Shiden Ult - a chained purple lighting attack that strikes all opponents in range for massive damage. Your opponents can’t sub out of this.

uh...no. Nothing should one shot, except maybe an ult, if you have a single jutsu one shotting people, that will break the game, people will abuse it, and the player base would leave. So no, it doesnt need more damage. The jutsu is fine as is.

@@zimfiend how would I have not read the description if I pointed out being invisible adds extra damage due to the damage buff you get from attacking unnoticed. I also added that rage pill boost the damage further . Get smart.

This jutsu plus amaterasu and the flying raijin by defense is deadly.

I honestly quit the game I’m tired of being put in games with hackers with infinite casting it’s annoying and it makes the game unplayable also match making is terrible I just started playing the game 3 months ago just recently I got into pvp and as a copper rank I was being put with gold ranks if it isn’t hackers doing infinite cast it’s gold ranks doing an infinite combo and I can’t do nothing they land one hit I substitute I try to attack back nothing they hit me and combo me to oblivion xenovers is garbage but hell it’s way better than this

weird how tobiramas in show when he killed izuna was just the sword slash no kunai involved but they had to make it any bit similar to minato for fans zzzz
