  • This episode features a mysterious hybrid with Anthurium radicans parentage. This hybrid is becoming quite common around nurseries and collectors homes thanks to its easy care, fast growth speed, ease of propagation, and of course its beauty. I show you some intimate details of this plant in hope that you will fall in love it as much as I did. As usual, I share the care tips and propagate this plant up into 30 pots (yes 30 pots), and give you a 4 months update at the end of the episode!

Wow I love the bushy growth pattern 😍 I recently picked up a 1 leaf propagation (mine is Lux x Rad and looks a lot like yours) and it already has 5 baby buds forming at the base. I'm very excited at the possibility of having a nice full pot!

Anthurium Radicans looks like a bouquet , symbolized for hospitality, is a popular houseplant choice. i like their showy and heart-shaped leaves. It is a long-lasting and easy-to-grow plant, which are two other causes for its widespread admiration. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

I believe the reason this plant is so vigorous is because it's one of the few cross-sextional anthurium hybrids. It's actually sterile due to this, and like a liger or other distant hybrids it seems to have exaggerated hybrid vigor in terms of growth

When you change light levels make sure to do it gradually. Sudden change can still burn the leaves 😀

Kereeen kk Sean as usual. Do you have tips on growing bigger leaf instead of bushy babies? Mine was soo busy having babies and once its propagate, it keep having baby and limits its leaf size. Or coz it different species? But there is on ur video the one that having bigger wider leaf as well. Tips nya please... thank you kk

I would separate the pups so that the main stem can get all the lights and nutrients. This will enable them to grow faster and bigger

Omg what a beautiful bushy plant! 😵‍💫😍I have a Radicans hybrid that was imported. This is the 2nd time I bought one overseas. I’m trying to keep it alive in. It lost it roots and looks like it putting out a new leaf. I have it in my prop box in perlite. Does you know how I can get the roots to grow? Am I using the wrong medium? TY!

    • @onlyplants

They respond well to moss. Keep moss airy fluffy and humid but never compacted or wet.
