The timeline does fit with the 20 years. You had Roger's execution 20 years before Luffy sets out to sea and then 3D2Y happens, which lines it up with Shiki's escape 2 years after Roger's death. It could explain the floating ships and crews with the worst generation when they entered the New World. It's not hard to believe that Shiki would keep tabs on his former crewmates after he hears of them being named emperors. He could've planted Gang Bege and Appoo in their respective crews. It would make sense especially if Shiki retains his style shown in Strong World, having half his men dress like mafia and keeping a party-like atmosphere around him outside.
Random thought, what if Foxy was apart of Shiki's crew? It makes wonder if that Arc had anymore meaning than just the David Back fight, and Aokiji's appearance, and to top that all off, Foxy is drawn in the same wacky fashion as Shiki and his potential allies.
Roger was executed 24 years prior to the current events, 2 years after that Shiki escaped from Impel down, 20 years later the strong world occurred, after which there was a 2 year time skip, so the timing does not match. It's not 20 years, but 24 years.

This could indeed turn out to be a Kaguya-like string-pulling situation (Naruto). The difference is that Shiki was always there, even though we don't know a lot about him, we know him. This theory is plausible and I'm sure Oda would come up with something crazy to tie everything up.
Imagine if Shiki suddenly shows up OUT OF NOWHERE and straitup interrupts law's clash with black beard , that would be very chaotic to see though I wonder what would be his motives for 3rd partying, I just think he'd get his own chapter to build up this encounter with Shiki , perhaps he could end up encountering Kid and Killer instead WHO KNOWS Shiki is a surprisingly even more mysterious than Shanks
I thought the same at first, but then I thought it would be more like the black zetsu reveal, a well planted revelation that Naruto, in my opinion, did pretty well. It wouldn't be fair to compare it with the Kaguya reveal.

I love this theory tho about Shiki has been pulling the strings for his own purpose to rule the world, but i also don't like that he somehow will be the next bigger villain than BB and Im and even Akainu. I just want him to be Luffy's next villain just to welcome Luffy's interest to the ancient weapons because we all know Luffy, different from Roger, did not have interest in such thing at all, even tho he almost got it. But by the appearance of Shiki, who really obsess to having all of the ancient weapons and of course Shirahoshi is one of them and then Pluton is in Wano which is now Luffy's territory, will make Luffy to fight for them as well in order to prevent Shiki to have it and saves his friends.
It might also be the one pirate Shanks wanted to talk about to the Gorosei... Blackbeard was already an issue, Buggy was good meme, and Luffy didn't really fit. But if the lurking legend was really moving stuff in the background, that'd be something to bring up. Especially since Shiki is like a Shanks foil. According to some theories Shanks' territory is mostly underwater currents he uses to move around faster than he should, Shiki in contrast cant outright fly, so he would be always out of Shanks' reach and force him to bring the Elder Stars' attention on that pirate.

Shiki could turn out to be the "Man Marked by Flames" for all we know. The one mentioned first by Kidd, and later by Blackbeard. This "pirate" Shanks wants to talk about, might be someone else; someone who isn't even a pirate. Something else like an explorer, (Noland's occupation, next to Botanist) or a sailor.
@@newt2120 Not necessarily. He can basically terraform the environment and manipulate it at will, in addition to just making things float. Anything that he's used his power on is fair game to control. Up to and including literal water, going by the movie, which is something no other DF user in tbe series has ever done, iirc. Well, outside Aokiji, but that's ice, so not in liquid form. Not to mention it gives him crazy mobility compared to others, and he uses both hand to hand and sword techniques as well, so its not like he's solely reliant on his DF to begin with.
Oda could always change the character design since the movie wasn't canon. If that guy in the cover story IS Shiki, then he's much smaller than in the movie already. I think the reveal would pack more of a punch if the character looked and acted differently to distinguish the canon and non-canon Shiki.
Uhm actually, he wasn't the only one who escapes alone. Morley, commander of the revolutionary army, also escaped alone, creating level 5.5 in the process. The thing is that nobody found out, not even Ivankov who took over level 5.5 AND is Morley's commrad
This is a great theory. When you consider that Shiki planned was strategically for 20 years in the future coincide with Toki and Roger timeline. Toki by knowing to send them to the present time and Roger knowing he was to early and at this present time something would happen. This theory would also fill in how Kaido had the knowledge and info he had if Shiki told him.
If you're right Shiki is the character type that was missing. A pirate that intends not to find one piece but steal it from whomever does. Just as he attatcked roger and goes for the ancient weapons to gain power well enabling others to find the one piece. Leaving whitebeard and shanks be hoping they go grab it. Well enabling big mom and kaido with parts of the map to it. The goal of Rocks was not to find a treasure but to take a crown. Not to create or find but to steal.
@Cardoarts Why would shanks be suspected of that? He literally talks about going to "pick it up" as he passes wano. Shanks is also known to though not have gone to the final island.... may know its location. Shanks does not seem the type to want to be pirate king TBH. We do not actually know his focus but we do know he probably could have taken all the glyphs easily since he traveled with roger and knew every location. The commanders are garbage to him and the emperors leave their areas as we saw kaido do multiple times. He seems extremely unlikely to want to be pirate king as if he did he would already be.
Dude was mentioned in chapter 530(february 2009) The movie Strong World came out in December 2009 It's most likely that Shiki was born for that Movie (just like Shanks appeared in Wano for film RED) It's more likely Shiki is never seen again than appearing during this series finale.

I for the longest time thought that Wet-Haired Caribou has been referring to Black Beard as the guy he wants to give info 2. But after a while I started thinking that he may actually be talking about Shiki. Especially since Blackbeard seemed to already know or have little need for the "info" he was collecting.
In the Road to Laugh Tale four "chapters" released at the end of wano, Shiki's blades are mentioned by name (and grade), but not his devil fruit. It could have been a mistake by Oda, but we all know that is very unlikely... The thing is, in Chapter 0 he says the name of his blade but in no circumstance is the Fuwa Fuwa no mi mention by that name, only it's power is shown. The Fuwa Fuwa no mi gets that name from the film

Yes, a lot of things that Oda draws have a hidden meaning, but I think the fact that he already used Shiki as the main villain for a non-canon film is pretty straight forward.
Okay. So why create chapter 0? Man, idk. It's just crazy that Oda wanted to create ANOTHER first chapter of One Piece and decided it would be about this random guy who we'll only see in a flash back (god valley). And the thing Shiki says at the end of the chapter. Dude, if you don't think Shiki is going to reapear in the story again, u aren't thinking about it enough. Like it's crazy that Oda would make CHAPTER 0 so irrelevant. Like in JJK, chapter 0 is INSANELY important because it introduces the 3rd main character. I think Oda was sneakily introducing a main villain BUT throwing us off the scent by making a filler movie with him. It is strange that Oda allowed for a filler movie though, I agree. More casual One Piece fans who watch the movies and only watch the One Piece anime would probably be very confused if Shiki re-appeared.

However just think about it, a villain that was defeated by a Luffy without gear 4 neither Haki, will appear in the story as someone more important than Kaido or Imu. I'm sure he will be in The main story, but I hope he is not a main villain, we still have 3 very good anttagonist to explore, B.B. Imu and Rocks if he is alive. So recycling Shiki doesn't feel right to me.

This is the best theory i have ever heard in one piece. This makes so much sense! I always wondered why the old bag showed orochi shikkis face. The part whith blackbeard doesnt make so much sense, but him taking out kaido and bigmom does. If he is the lurking legend i will be hyped af because there will be an actuall powerhouse again (remember it took prime garp and sengoku to defeat him). It would be INSANE!
Strong world, and those 4-6 filler episodes were so good. I’m still bummed out that not every movie followed that pattern. Give Oda a break from the manga once per year, even for an entire month to write get ideas for a movie, and fit it into the series. While it takes much longer than a month to write a solid movie, just use Oda’s ideas he couldn’t fit into the manga. I’m still wishing that Hachi’s cover page story got a movie, or at least a few episodes. Like it would be really cool to have 1/2 a movie showing Hachi’s cover story then the other 1/2 was after Jinbe after FMI. I would legitimately pay more for a special series than a volume that covered the mini traveling stories of various characters, like how they ended up places, what happened. Title it: Kuzan: Tour De One Piece. ( his bike riding) or Kaido’s Drunken Adventures. Legends: Setting off. And just cover times characters were super close to Aoikiji. Rocky Port, Hachi, Jinbe, Robin growing up. Jinbe’s arrival to Wano. Kaido going from Wano. SH alliance. How Moriah escaped. Like one of the things that would’ve / could’ve made One Piece better would’ve been to either kept movies not being cannon at all, and just having super wacky/crazy characters and events. Or wrote the movies in a way to be cannon. The only reason why I wouldn’t just make every movie into one of the major background events is because for a lot of them, like Shanks v Kaido and the payback war, what could be made probably wouldn’t live up to expectations. And imagination / debates is a major aspect of the OP fandom. Like imagine if we got Shanks & Mihawk fight before the recent reveal? Especially if that fight ended with a winner. But even if it was a draw, Shanks mystery is one of the biggest reasons for his hype.

Just to add more credibility is that in chapter 907 Hina states that the rocks power is still growing, Garp responds saying if they (rocks pirates) make a comeback the marines couldn't do anything about! Then we learn recently that Ochoku was still alive after all these years and got taken out by Blackbeard! Definitive proof that the group not just Shiki is lurking in the new world!

If what Shiki said about his df in the movie is true there’s no way he could be responsible for that scene where Apoo is floating. Shiki says in the movie that he can only make non-living objects and himself float, as for the Capone scene im also fairly sure Shiki has to touch said object before he can make it float

I'm pretty sure the 20-year plan that was mentioned at the end of Chapter 0 is meant to be a prelude to the non-canon "Strong World". Shiki and Professor Indigo are looking out at the animals that are supposed to be a part of their plan in the movie. I don't think Shiki is going to be heavily-involved in the main storyline of the manga.

you have not even considered the insane implications of his devil fruit: 1: its a devil fruit that can defy gravity itself, fujis power would be useless against him and any gravitational abilities (*cough cough* blackbeard) would probably be rendered useless which is already pretty insane 2: if we are to take the strong worlds depiction of the power at least as somewhat canon, the dude can straight up lift entire continents with his devil fruit, he could send land masses down to destroy entire countries or just float countires into the sky all the way into space if he wanted to, he could of probably destroyed marineford by just lifting it ridiculously high into the sky 3: shiki of course possess the ability to fly already a lot of strength in that 4: as long as he touches something he can control it, meaning if Shiki is fast enough then he can just push back things 5: as I was saying if we take strong worlds depiction canon he can also move intangeable things like smoke, that means he could also probably manipulate gas and other things 6: his awakening I believe would do either two things: allows him to lift objects without even touching them anymore, or allows him to lift living creatures, either way thats insanely overpowered if he no longer has to touch things in order to move them 7: shiki may be able to move the sea possibly although im not fully sure of his ability to manipulate liquids almost. thats just his devil fruit capacity alone, considering he contended with roger who was an insane haki user no doubt he would need haki to back it up dude is probably a master in all three catagories, I know oda could rewrite them completely because its not fully canon in the movie, but just from what Shiki could do alone, dude is defineatly a yonko level, imagine a yonko who rules over a massive sky island country

Uta has also been confirmed canon, but the events of the film are not, same as with Shiki. It seems she was part of Shanks crew in one of the manga panels. At least that‘s what I read. I don‘t know for sure if it’s true yet. And of course we have to see if she will appear again or stay in the background just being alive in the One Piece world
I think something that should be considered is there might be a Secret society out there that Trebel is part of and I think Shiki is leading. I think there is a secret society running around inspiring each new Generation to go out and do Evil and basically all doing the samething Trebel did for Doffy when he was a kid, I think Croc had someone like this at a point and Kid currently has someone who inspired him that was part of that society. just always had a feeling Trebel is more connected then we're led to believe.

I think there could be some other Examples we're over looking as well, but think there is more characters that were more of background or side characters that were tasked with a similar mission to find someone in the next generation that is full of hate and controllable seems like Weevil might fall into this category and Doctor Hogback could of been pulling Moriahs Strings without us noticing. I also believe Someone Tried something similar on Both Mihawk and Dragon but both of them got wise and stopped the person who was trying to control them in there youth.

Higurashi (that women with Bon-Chan fruit) is Shikis mother. In my opinion they look very much alike. And it would make sense that Higurashis plan to overthrow Wano country was to radical for her son Shiki. So shiki desides to go his own ways and do a better plan than she did. I mean its just me probably that thinks they look alike but idk. Maybe im right xD
The big thing that was hinted at by the legends was the movie Shiki was in. You can even see him setting up those trees on that island from the movie in chapter 0. The legends mentioning him was clearly just promotion for that movie. Even if it isn’t canon, it would make no sense to use that as setup for the movie and then again for something else that happens in the actual story and contradict that movie, that would be really confusing for too many viewers. The Kuruzumi woman turning into Shiki probably just is a sign to show us that she left Wano at some point to prepare their revenge. In this case Shikis face is just there to show us that she left Wano to find devil fruits and connected to powerful pirates to get outside help that ultimately came from Kaido. And I wouldn’t say every levitating object has to be explained by Shiki. The OP verse is just too weird, things like that don’t even need explanation because it’s just filled with crazy unbelievable stuff.
Shiki said himself in Strong World that he can't make living beings float. He can make clothing float, but he has to lay a hand on everything he wants to float. So I doubt Shiki is the reason Apoo and his crew started running on air, as well as the boars chasing them.

Theory: the revolutionaries mobilize to save vegapunk and on the way they run into law and help him. Theory two: bartolomeo is close to that area due to causing havoc in shanks territories, and the grand fleet and/or shanks pulls up. Theory three: Sword jumps in to save Koby and they help Law Theory four: Law dies 😭

Yes, he is really a possibility to be a candidate for the lurking legend. When Shiki, should really come back in the future of the storyline then i can't wait to see his real goals, what he is planning for in real 🤔. I don't know man. Introducing yet another potential final villain, an on top of that this late in the story, it just doesn't make too much sense for me. Also, as mentioned, Oda cancelled his plans of introducing him earlier in the story to instead make a movie about him. For me this sounds more like he changed his mind about putting him into the actual story, yet still wanted to flesh his character out in some way, so a movie makes a lot of sense. I do think though that it's peculiar that Chapter 0 showed him talking about his 20 year plan but that's about it. Other points in the video like him luring in Bege to marry him to Chiffon or attacking Nami's parents in the East Blue feel like a stretch to me. All in all, I don't believe in it and also hope this doesn't happen unless Oda finds a REALLY convincing way of re-introducing him into the story and making him as big of a threat as the other top tiers in this world. But hey, some arguments in the video give some food for thought and it's very likely anyway at the very least that we'll see more of him in the past
Having Shiki as the final villain would be kinda disappointing. With the film even though it wasn't cannon, we still saw a fight between shiki and luffy. Imu on the other hand we barely know anything about. Seeing such a fight between such a mysterious character and Luffy gets me super excited even just thinking about. Not to mention the seemingly close fight with BB. I think that BB will become pirate king by doing something shady like using Luffy's friends like Law as hostage. But after he is PK Luffy will free his comrades and will challenge BB the PK.
For me oda is going to kinda "rush" the islands for one piece to end basically and just a theory the order would be egghead->hachinosu(rescue of coby and pudding)(possible alliance with smoker(since he's near egghead)and katakuri)->either elbaf or sphinx prob both but no clue in which order the raftel war between yonko's and yonko candidates(kid and law) and then fishman 2.0 and final war saga in marineford and marijeois for me shiki can appear either in hachinosu(but i believe wan ji will appear there already and he will either appear as and ally,subordinate or prisioner of BB since its teach territory and if not there in elbaf as main villain or in raftel war out of nowhere basically.

Shiki actually has an appearance shortly after the Whitebeard War...After the war with Whitebeard most if not all the supernovas are seen either reacting to the end, or simply making their way to the new world. In the New world we see the Fire Tank pirates boat and several Islands being sucked up into the sky. The only one in the series we've seen or heard of yet that has the power to do something of this magnitude is the Golden Lion Himself. This may be the clever way of Oda trying to squeeze Shiki in without having to wrench him into the EOS arcs or leave him as one of the post-series off screen enemies.
Consider tho that the thing that sucked up bege might be the thing that destroyed lulusia and was used by Imu and the gorosei. I feel like both what you said and the Uranus/whatever the fuck that thing is theorys could fit that thing

i think when the supernovas entered the new world during luffys training arc,shiki met most or all of them for his plan, and he might be “the man marked by flames” which may be why law also seemed to know about it and not luffy, might be a lil stretch but it makes sense to me.

I think the Bege and Apoo incidents were just examples for the weird weather phenomenons in the new world. They were shown in close relation to the other Supernovas who had similarly odd weather conditions etc
Kaido and fujitora could also lift island sized masses with their devil fruits. There's also all the sky islands including the weatherians. We also have the all important odas favorite panels from sabody that could give that might too. Any if these things could explain apoo and bege or the shrine. The cover with crocus is cool tho, that's prolly shiki and I like parts of this theory.

The timeline does fit with the 20 years. You had Roger's execution 20 years before Luffy sets out to sea and then 3D2Y happens, which lines it up with Shiki's escape 2 years after Roger's death. It could explain the floating ships and crews with the worst generation when they entered the New World. It's not hard to believe that Shiki would keep tabs on his former crewmates after he hears of them being named emperors. He could've planted Gang Bege and Appoo in their respective crews. It would make sense especially if Shiki retains his style shown in Strong World, having half his men dress like mafia and keeping a party-like atmosphere around him outside.

Random thought, what if Foxy was apart of Shiki's crew? It makes wonder if that Arc had anymore meaning than just the David Back fight, and Aokiji's appearance, and to top that all off, Foxy is drawn in the same wacky fashion as Shiki and his potential allies.
Roger was executed 24 years prior to the current events, 2 years after that Shiki escaped from Impel down, 20 years later the strong world occurred, after which there was a 2 year time skip, so the timing does not match. It's not 20 years, but 24 years.

This could indeed turn out to be a Kaguya-like string-pulling situation (Naruto). The difference is that Shiki was always there, even though we don't know a lot about him, we know him. This theory is plausible and I'm sure Oda would come up with something crazy to tie everything up.
Imagine if Shiki suddenly shows up OUT OF NOWHERE and straitup interrupts law's clash with black beard , that would be very chaotic to see though I wonder what would be his motives for 3rd partying, I just think he'd get his own chapter to build up this encounter with Shiki , perhaps he could end up encountering Kid and Killer instead WHO KNOWS Shiki is a surprisingly even more mysterious than Shanks

I love this theory tho about Shiki has been pulling the strings for his own purpose to rule the world, but i also don't like that he somehow will be the next bigger villain than BB and Im and even Akainu. I just want him to be Luffy's next villain just to welcome Luffy's interest to the ancient weapons because we all know Luffy, different from Roger, did not have interest in such thing at all, even tho he almost got it. But by the appearance of Shiki, who really obsess to having all of the ancient weapons and of course Shirahoshi is one of them and then Pluton is in Wano which is now Luffy's territory, will make Luffy to fight for them as well in order to prevent Shiki to have it and saves his friends.
It might also be the one pirate Shanks wanted to talk about to the Gorosei... Blackbeard was already an issue, Buggy was good meme, and Luffy didn't really fit. But if the lurking legend was really moving stuff in the background, that'd be something to bring up. Especially since Shiki is like a Shanks foil. According to some theories Shanks' territory is mostly underwater currents he uses to move around faster than he should, Shiki in contrast cant outright fly, so he would be always out of Shanks' reach and force him to bring the Elder Stars' attention on that pirate.

Not necessarily. He can basically terraform the environment and manipulate it at will, in addition to just making things float. Anything that he's used his power on is fair game to control. Up to and including literal water, going by the movie, which is something no other DF user in tbe series has ever done, iirc.
Well, outside Aokiji, but that's ice, so not in liquid form.
Not to mention it gives him crazy mobility compared to others, and he uses both hand to hand and sword techniques as well, so its not like he's solely reliant on his DF to begin with.

Oda could always change the character design since the movie wasn't canon. If that guy in the cover story IS Shiki, then he's much smaller than in the movie already. I think the reveal would pack more of a punch if the character looked and acted differently to distinguish the canon and non-canon Shiki.

This is a great theory. When you consider that Shiki planned was strategically for 20 years in the future coincide with Toki and Roger timeline. Toki by knowing to send them to the present time and Roger knowing he was to early and at this present time something would happen. This theory would also fill in how Kaido had the knowledge and info he had if Shiki told him.

If you're right Shiki is the character type that was missing. A pirate that intends not to find one piece but steal it from whomever does. Just as he attatcked roger and goes for the ancient weapons to gain power well enabling others to find the one piece. Leaving whitebeard and shanks be hoping they go grab it. Well enabling big mom and kaido with parts of the map to it. The goal of Rocks was not to find a treasure but to take a crown. Not to create or find but to steal.

Shanks is also known to though not have gone to the final island.... may know its location. Shanks does not seem the type to want to be pirate king TBH. We do not actually know his focus but we do know he probably could have taken all the glyphs easily since he traveled with roger and knew every location. The commanders are garbage to him and the emperors leave their areas as we saw kaido do multiple times. He seems extremely unlikely to want to be pirate king as if he did he would already be.

In the Road to Laugh Tale four "chapters" released at the end of wano, Shiki's blades are mentioned by name (and grade), but not his devil fruit. It could have been a mistake by Oda, but we all know that is very unlikely... The thing is, in Chapter 0 he says the name of his blade but in no circumstance is the Fuwa Fuwa no mi mention by that name, only it's power is shown. The Fuwa Fuwa no mi gets that name from the film
I think this does kinda answers how Kaido ended up in Wano and maybe even how he knew about Joyboy's return.

Yes, a lot of things that Oda draws have a hidden meaning, but I think the fact that he already used Shiki as the main villain for a non-canon film is pretty straight forward.
Okay. So why create chapter 0? Man, idk. It's just crazy that Oda wanted to create ANOTHER first chapter of One Piece and decided it would be about this random guy who we'll only see in a flash back (god valley). And the thing Shiki says at the end of the chapter. Dude, if you don't think Shiki is going to reapear in the story again, u aren't thinking about it enough. Like it's crazy that Oda would make CHAPTER 0 so irrelevant. Like in JJK, chapter 0 is INSANELY important because it introduces the 3rd main character. I think Oda was sneakily introducing a main villain BUT throwing us off the scent by making a filler movie with him. It is strange that Oda allowed for a filler movie though, I agree. More casual One Piece fans who watch the movies and only watch the One Piece anime would probably be very confused if Shiki re-appeared.

However just think about it, a villain that was defeated by a Luffy without gear 4 neither Haki, will appear in the story as someone more important than Kaido or Imu. I'm sure he will be in The main story, but I hope he is not a main villain, we still have 3 very good anttagonist to explore, B.B. Imu and Rocks if he is alive. So recycling Shiki doesn't feel right to me.

This is the best theory i have ever heard in one piece. This makes so much sense! I always wondered why the old bag showed orochi shikkis face. The part whith blackbeard doesnt make so much sense, but him taking out kaido and bigmom does. If he is the lurking legend i will be hyped af because there will be an actuall powerhouse again (remember it took prime garp and sengoku to defeat him). It would be INSANE!
Strong world, and those 4-6 filler episodes were so good.
I’m still bummed out that not every movie followed that pattern.
Give Oda a break from the manga once per year, even for an entire month to write get ideas for a movie, and fit it into the series.
While it takes much longer than a month to write a solid movie, just use Oda’s ideas he couldn’t fit into the manga.
I’m still wishing that Hachi’s cover page story got a movie, or at least a few episodes. Like it would be really cool to have 1/2 a movie showing Hachi’s cover story then the other 1/2 was after Jinbe after FMI.
I would legitimately pay more for a special series than a volume that covered the mini traveling stories of various characters, like how they ended up places, what happened.

Kuzan: Tour De One Piece. ( his bike riding) or Kaido’s Drunken Adventures. Legends: Setting off.
And just cover times characters were super close to Aoikiji.
Rocky Port, Hachi, Jinbe, Robin growing up. Jinbe’s arrival to Wano. Kaido going from Wano. SH alliance. How Moriah escaped.
Like one of the things that would’ve / could’ve made One Piece better would’ve been to either kept movies not being cannon at all, and just having super wacky/crazy characters and events.
Or wrote the movies in a way to be cannon.
The only reason why I wouldn’t just make every movie into one of the major background events is because for a lot of them, like Shanks v Kaido and the payback war, what could be made probably wouldn’t live up to expectations.
And imagination / debates is a major aspect of the OP fandom.
Like imagine if we got Shanks & Mihawk fight before the recent reveal?
Especially if that fight ended with a winner.
But even if it was a draw, Shanks mystery is one of the biggest reasons for his hype.

I'm pretty sure the 20-year plan that was mentioned at the end of Chapter 0 is meant to be a prelude to the non-canon "Strong World". Shiki and Professor Indigo are looking out at the animals that are supposed to be a part of their plan in the movie. I don't think Shiki is going to be heavily-involved in the main storyline of the manga.

you have not even considered the insane implications of his devil fruit:
1: its a devil fruit that can defy gravity itself, fujis power would be useless against him and any gravitational abilities (*cough cough* blackbeard) would probably be rendered useless which is already pretty insane
2: if we are to take the strong worlds depiction of the power at least as somewhat canon, the dude can straight up lift entire continents with his devil fruit, he could send land masses down to destroy entire countries or just float countires into the sky all the way into space if he wanted to, he could of probably destroyed marineford by just lifting it ridiculously high into the sky
3: shiki of course possess the ability to fly already a lot of strength in that
4: as long as he touches something he can control it, meaning if Shiki is fast enough then he can just push back things
5: as I was saying if we take strong worlds depiction canon he can also move intangeable things like smoke, that means he could also probably manipulate gas and other things
6: his awakening I believe would do either two things: allows him to lift objects without even touching them anymore, or allows him to lift living creatures, either way thats insanely overpowered if he no longer has to touch things in order to move them
7: shiki may be able to move the sea possibly although im not fully sure of his ability to manipulate liquids almost.

I think something that should be considered is there might be a Secret society out there that Trebel is part of and I think Shiki is leading. I think there is a secret society running around inspiring each new Generation to go out and do Evil and basically all doing the samething Trebel did for Doffy when he was a kid, I think Croc had someone like this at a point and Kid currently has someone who inspired him that was part of that society. just always had a feeling Trebel is more connected then we're led to believe.

I think there could be some other Examples we're over looking as well, but think there is more characters that were more of background or side characters that were tasked with a similar mission to find someone in the next generation that is full of hate and controllable seems like Weevil might fall into this category and Doctor Hogback could of been pulling Moriahs Strings without us noticing. I also believe Someone Tried something similar on Both Mihawk and Dragon but both of them got wise and stopped the person who was trying to control them in there youth.

Higurashi (that women with Bon-Chan fruit) is Shikis mother. In my opinion they look very much alike. And it would make sense that Higurashis plan to overthrow Wano country was to radical for her son Shiki. So shiki desides to go his own ways and do a better plan than she did. The big thing that was hinted at by the legends was the movie Shiki was in. You can even see him setting up those trees on that island from the movie in chapter 0. The legends mentioning him was clearly just promotion for that movie. Even if it isn’t canon, it would make no sense to use that as setup for the movie and then again for something else that happens in the actual story and contradict that movie, that would be really confusing for too many viewers.
The Kuruzumi woman turning into Shiki probably just is a sign to show us that she left Wano at some point to prepare their revenge. In this case Shikis face is just there to show us that she left Wano to find devil fruits and connected to powerful pirates to get outside help that ultimately came from Kaido.
And I wouldn’t say every levitating object has to be explained by Shiki. The OP verse is just too weird, things like that don’t even need explanation because it’s just filled with crazy unbelievable stuff.
Shiki said himself in Strong World that he can't make living beings float. He can make clothing float, but he has to lay a hand on everything he wants to float. So I doubt Shiki is the reason Apoo and his crew started running on air, as well as the boars chasing them.

Also, as mentioned, Oda cancelled his plans of introducing him earlier in the story to instead make a movie about him. For me this sounds more like he changed his mind about putting him into the actual story, yet still wanted to flesh his character out in some way, so a movie makes a lot of sense.
I do think though that it's peculiar that Chapter 0 showed him talking about his 20 year plan but that's about it. Other points in the video like him luring in Bege to marry him to Chiffon or attacking Nami's parents in the East Blue feel like a stretch to me.
All in all, I don't believe in it and also hope this doesn't happen unless Oda finds a REALLY convincing way of re-introducing him into the story and making him as big of a threat as the other top tiers in this world. But hey, some arguments in the video give some food for thought and it's very likely anyway at the very least that we'll see more of him in the past

Having Shiki as the final villain would be kinda disappointing. With the film even though it wasn't cannon, we still saw a fight between shiki and luffy. Imu on the other hand we barely know anything about. Seeing such a fight between such a mysterious character and Luffy gets me super excited even just thinking about. Not to mention the seemingly close fight with BB. I think that BB will become pirate king by doing something shady like using Luffy's friends like Law as hostage. But after he is PK Luffy will free his comrades and will challenge BB the PK.
The film is bs and not cannon. The fight never happened.

For me oda is going to kinda "rush" the islands for one piece to end basically and just a theory the order would be egghead->hachinosu(rescue of coby and pudding)(possible alliance with smoker(since he's near egghead)and katakuri)->either elbaf or sphinx prob both but no clue in which order the raftel war between yonko's and yonko candidates(kid and law) and then fishman 2.0 and final war saga in marineford and marijeois for me shiki can appear either in hachinosu(but i believe wan ji will appear there already and he will either appear as and ally,subordinate or prisioner of BB since its teach territory and if not there in elbaf as main villain or in raftel war out of nowhere basically.

Shiki actually has an appearance shortly after the Whitebeard War...After the war with Whitebeard most if not all the supernovas are seen either reacting to the end, or simply making their way to the new world.
In the New world we see the Fire Tank pirates boat and several Islands being sucked up into the sky.
The only one in the series we've seen or heard of yet that has the power to do something of this magnitude is the Golden Lion Himself.
This may be the clever way of Oda trying to squeeze Shiki in without having to wrench him into the EOS arcs or leave him as one of the post-series off screen enemies.
Consider tho that the thing that sucked up bege might be the thing that destroyed lulusia and was used by Imu and the gorosei. I feel like both what you said and the Uranus/whatever the fuck that thing is theorys could fit that thing

i think when the supernovas entered the new world during luffys training arc,shiki met most or all of them for his plan, and he might be “the man marked by flames” which may be why law also seemed to know about it and not luffy, might be a lil stretch but it makes sense to me.

I think the Bege and Apoo incidents were just examples for the weird weather phenomenons in the new world. They were shown in close relation to the other Supernovas who had similarly odd weather conditions etc
Kaido and fujitora could also lift island sized masses with their devil fruits. There's also all the sky islands including the weatherians. We also have the all important odas favorite panels from sabody that could give that might too. Any if these things could explain apoo and bege or the shrine.
