You can actually use the water and lava to quickly create pillars to the bottom of the world without having to mine a whole bunch. Just make them fall down two blocks apart.
See this is what I love about Python, his pacing is incredible. I recently watched a skyblock vid, and it was just too quick how they did it, they already had like a double chest full of cobble, and already had like two efficient mob farms. I love skyblock, and I miss the old days where youtube was like this. Keep up the great work, Python!
I'm super hyped for this series python!!, a little something I would like to say is you are most of my inspiration to try new builds and try new ways to play Minecraft in general, watching this makes me want to start a skyblock challenge myself. Love the content and this channel and its community. 😊
Spent hours getting grass down to the bottom of the world, hours more to get it to spread to a platform for passive mobs only to realize that my whole spawn area is Deep Dark 😐
I don't run any servers aside from my YT Members only Discord unfortunately. I don't have a team to run it, nor do I personally have time to, sorry bud 🙂
Idk if it's just for bedrock. But some people were saying that spiders are buggy in the new update and the spiders are able to spawn in previous mob farms built to avoid them.
I think that's just for Bedrock but I'll certainly give that a test in my test world before trying it for real! Don't want no bugs jeopardising my ability to survive! 😅😀
Love it! I recently played lucky block skyblock, and also wanted my mobfarm at the bottom, I did it with lava casting 😊 but, I did ad an elevatior mod, so I just placed one at the top and then mined my way down and placed a second one, lol. Did not know that slimes require the same space as spiders tho, I quit (not only) but mainly because I apparently had 3 slime chunks in that area, lol. It was sooo annoying getting down to be greated by huge slimes 😅
Always love a skyblock series. And the pace is perfect. Anyone that has played skyblock knows how slow progress is at first. But every tree that grows or precious iron ingot that drops from a zombie is a huge win. I for one very much enjoy the play along pace!!
Oh I had no idea about the spawning of the phantoms I did purchase a skyblock in the marketplace and wondered why I didn’t see phantoms on the 3rd night
Is it too much of a waste to make ladders? Then you can grab the water. Also how are you going to get to the other islands from the bottom? Just curious.
Doing well thanks! As for the water suggestions, I don't have an infinite water source yet so I'm very limited with water. Also, at the bottom of the world, the water wouldn't flow down since I'm at the very, very bottom of the world 😀 I'll see if I can't "Python proof" my base some other way though!
hey python a small tip if you get some iron and make a cauldron and some bottles qnd fill the bottle till the cauldron is full and now you can take the new water block and make 2x2 infinite water source
Oh don't you worry, once the mob farm is up and running, we'll be getting iron from zombies like mad! 😀 Who knows, maybe an iron farm in the distant future would be good too... if we manage to get villagers that is! 😀

I have also built a mob dropper on 0,0 and it is also a slime chunk. Could be just coincidence, or it could be a built in mechanic
