This is a great how to play! I would have appreciated a quick example of how scoring works on a later summit. I had to pause the "end game scoring" screen and work out the math to make sure I understood it.
One card with number five is not worthing 15 total points? And adding +10 = 25? Im asking cause looks like 25 total points, but you sad 15. Im confused.
The peas and carrots jersey is played differently than other card combinations. In the example you saw, the peas and carrots jersey is always a flat 10 points. It doesn't count as part of a card combination. A 5 card with a peas and carrots jersey is 5 + 10. The jersey is never part of the card combination. It only adds a +10 to whatever you play.
I bought this and we played it and were very disappointed. Its not easy to learn in 5 minutes like they say and the scoring was needlessly complex. The part about the leader card was not clear to us. And we had many questions we couldnt find an answer to. If u play a turtle card and you dont have any cards left, do u still collect a card from another player when u dont have any to give back? This wasnt a fun game.
@adrianaalexander5592 gotcha. Thanks for the feedback. As far as the turtle card, pulling cards from another player is not mandatory. In the case of not having any cards after playing the turtle, you are done with that round. No need to pull a card from another player because you would just hand it right back. I think the only thing I didn't care for in the game was the leader getting the +10 card going into the next round. It's really powerful. I actually love the scoring because it's one of the few card games that a person could lose the first couple rounds and still have a chance to win in the end. -Ryan
