Idk if Netflix even has an animation team but this is definitely not done by them. It's done by Studio Graphinica, and they don't have any talented animators nor do they have enough connections/ budget to hire talented freelancers. So yeah, it's not gonna be any different unfortunately

Qin Shi Huang life was filled with drama. Even the fictional depiction in this series are not comparable with the historical record. Basically the start are pretty similar until the time you read his childhood even longer. The guy survived a lot of assassination attempts (ridiculous amount has been made), his mother putting him to emperor status and the advisor basically put a man with a loin as huge as wooden carriage axles for •••. It is safe to say the reality was more dramatic than the truth. On the side note, Jing Ke trying to assassination Qin Shi Huang ended up looking like Tom & Jerry chase in the court record.

Is it me or qin's voice didnt sounds what i expected it is to be. Ive been simping qin for months now and reread the manga where qin was, i expect his voice to be soft, gentle and little nonchantly yet not so forced when he said "hao" maybe too much fanfiction to me but damn , those biceps man why it is nerfed.
You think so? I think the casting is pretty spot on. Kaito Ishikawa’s voice has good balance, a voice that can go from soft and smooth like silk to bold and authoritative, the voice of a commander and king. Mamoru Miyano is also good at playing haughty yet serious men too, but he might be a little too goofy sounding for this role. I do think Yoshimasa Hosoya has a nice deep voice, but his voice tends to sound huskier when he’s more upbeat. It would make Huang Di sound more like a countryside commoner in that sense.
I mean he was a child who was hated by the people around and bullied lacked confidence. For me this voice suits him perfectly confident but soft toned plus we haven’t even heard him really talk just one word .

Up to this point , the fight between Hades and Qin is by far the best fight in the story. I hope the anime version will reflect it even more.
