Greeting Malaysia Airlines at Thiruvananthapuram Airport

Join us in celebrating the festive spirit as we warmly greet #MalaysiaAirlines on our runway at #ThiruvananthapuramAirport.
The festivities kick started with a lamp lighting ceremony, presided over by our chief guest, Mr. Prem Krishnan (IAS, Additional Director, Department of Tourism) and other significant dignitaries, followed by speeches and cake cutting. Malaysia Airlines then handed out delightful goodies and boarding passes to the inaugural passengers.
We welcomed the arriving aircraft with a resplendent water salute. The captain and the entire crew were adorned with traditional shawls, symbolising our sincere embrace of this exciting chapter in air travel.
