Hey duck, if you are interested, there are many videos that the channel Overly Sarcastic Productions have done about the many servants in this show. They did an episode on Medea (Caster), Cu Chullainn (Lancer), as well as on the legend of Gilgemish which Red does a little dig on his design in the Fate Universe at the end of the video. I could also recommend the video they did on Heracles and his labors, or direct you to another channel named Jon Solo that did an episode on Heracles and his 12 labors, and 9 minor labors he did, as well as his video on Medusa and her child Pegasus

When Archer was muttering 'no wonder you lasted a whole day against him' he was refering to Gilgamesh. In the Fate route visual novel Lancer fights Gilgamesh to let Shirou and Saber escape. So think about the fight between Heracles and Gilgamesh, and now Lancer going up against that for an entire day.
Unfortunately the anime adaptation didn't do it justice.
Note the chains are just as bad for Lancer as he is is also a demigod

He did last that long cuz of protection from arrows, but still impressive

Otherwise, he's a top tier melee fighter, hand-to-hand fighter, wrestler and could be raining down magic fire and lightning from the sky. And of course, his concept of primordial annihilation, Ea.
As Emiya noted, the shield Rho Aias was used by Ajax, one of the people who fought in the Trojan War
Funny thing is Cu Chullainn is one of the few servants that can be summoned in ANY role, with the sole exception of assasin because he thinks betrayal and backstabbing is beneath him, and he was actually the original Hulk. As in he had a power called Warp Spasm that caused his body to grow to gaint size, warped his features, made his body hot enough to give off steam and make his hair float, and fly into a blind berserk rage. His name actually comes from the fact that during one of his Hulk sessions he killed some irish kings prized hunting dog so the king changed his name from Sétante to Chu Chullainn which literally just means hound. That's right. Some rich prick walked up to an Irish demigod, told him you killed my dog so your my bitch now, and not only didn't get his ripped off but actually had the demigod go along with it because he had such a strict code of honor.
Hercules also falls in that category, all standard classes besides Caster

well, no, Cu killed the Hound while he was still "Normal" with a hurly and sliotar, and pucked the sliotar into the beasts throat, or sometimes through its head. no riastrad or warp spasms were involved. In regret for what he did decided to become the owner of the hound, the King of Chulainns guard dog from then on, until he raised a new hound, Cu Chulainn literally translates to "Hound of Chulainn" though Cu can sometimes mean the word warrior, So it would also mean "Chulainns warrior"

Don't underestimate Archer. In the Fate route, he took Berserker on one-on-one and took off 7 of his lives (if I remember correctly), before dying.

You remember when Archer said Cu was pretty much Irish Hercules? He wasn't lying.
It's a Fate meme that lancer class servants always get shafted by circumstance, but Cu is another OP demigod, with poor luck.
And as he said, he has very high resistance to all range attacks, which as Archer says, is how he could last against Gil for a full day ... though that was also Gill refusing to use anything but projectiles. Cu's strongest class is actually as a Caster.
And now we reach the reason for the name of this route of Fate/Stay Night. Unlimited Blade Works is Archer's Noble Phantasm. With his words, Archer certainly has memories of the first and most obvious route, the Fate route. Fate focuses on Saber. UBW focuses on Rin. And the final route, Heaven's Feel, focuses on Sakura, Shinji's sister. Heaven's Feel gets crazy.
I’m not sure if it’s true but I heard There’s an alter of archer that does kill his past self. I think. But he has a very short memory thaxs to it because his life technically didn’t happen anymore. And alters are like dark versions of heroes.

I'll second the series, though most give up trying to sneak reactions, but I never really understood ignoring the series chronology for the cannon chronology, as that means you miss call backs, with no benefit, unless you're fixating on the official cannon.

Regarding the question of "Won't killing Shirou erase Archer?", that's the whole plan. The Batman metaphor about being crushed by his ideals wasn't just a dig at Shirou, but a lament of his own experiences. By killing Shirou, he's putting them both out of their shared misery. Or at least that's the plan.
Probably wouldn't work, but it's the only thing he has left to try.

@WolforNuva pretty sure that was him spazing out in anger because Rin insisted on saving shiro. If it was because shiro was dying, Archer would not have been surprised when Rin said she saved him.
It is canon (and explained in the show) that Shirou being killed will have no effect on Archer. Archer admits to that, but is so obsessed with trying to do *something* that he insists that maybe he can destroy the very idea of himself (he can't). This universal mechanic is still true in the Abridged Series.

Ah yes. The inevitable battle. Gay Bulge vs Raw Ass. Also, Project Mouthwash has a oneshot Inuyasha Abridged up. I think there were plans to do something with it that never went anywhere for reasons. While I would recommend Digimon and Tri Abridged, if you think you're having copyright trouble with this series you'd be in for a world of hurt with Digimon. Also I think there are only like five out of seven episodes of Digimon up and Tri had to be uploaded as a two and a half hour video to get past copyright.
I have never thought of referring to Gae Bolg and Rho Aias as Gay Bulge and Raw Ass but I will be using this forever and always starting at this very point, thank you
@@itzwizory9556 Various dubs have had issues with pronunciation. I believe Gay Bulge comes from the Studio Deen English Dub and Raw Ass comes from a Japanese pronunciation that semi dropped the 'i' though I don't recall which one.
The he archer referred to in his battle with lancer is Gilgamesh.
Lancer has protection from arrows, disengage and battle continuation which allowed him to fight Gilgamesh for 12 hours and I believe actually injure him. (Of course Gilgamesh was holding back but it’s still very impressive)
Since we’re recommending abridged series I guess fate/cero is a good option. If this series is like sao abridged if sao abridged cared for its source material then fate/cero is like code ment including purpleeyeswtf voicing the greatest character in all of fiction.

Unlimited Blade Works, the coolest Noble Phantasm in my personal opinion. The chant, the design, the insane level of power it possesses. I cannot wait for episode 11, it's going to be amazing.
Lancer's name is Cú Chulainn, a hero in Irish folklore. Fun fact about his spear, the Gae Bolg (literally Spear of Death/Barbed Spear), when you stab someone with it it splits into 30 barbs that impale the target from within.

This fight with Lancer is unfortunately the strongest we get to see Lancer on-screen in any version of the original visual novel storyline. His current Master gave him a specific Command Spell: Every time Lancer encounters a Servant for the first time, he must hold back and absolutely must NOT kill them. The reason for this is simple: His Master finds more value in using Lancer to find out details about the other Servants without fighting them to the death. And, given his own free will, Lancer would absolutely fight to the death 7 out of 7 times. In essence, Lancer is neutered for almost all of his fights in Fate/Stay Night. This fight right here is one of two fights that are Lancer's second encounter with someone, where he is free to go all out; the other one was against Gilgamesh in the Fate route, where Lancer fought Gilgamesh for a full 24 hours because the two of them couldn't stand each other. Honestly, I'm not even sure how Cu Chulainn did better than Harakles considering both are demigods and Gilgamesh has the Chains of Heaven, but it's possible Cu was agile enough to avoid them.
Also, for future reference, Cu Chulainn means the Hound of Chulainn. When he was still young, the warrior Setanta came upon Chulainn's blacksmith shop in the middle of the night. The smith had a guard dog who leapt to attack the newcomer, and Setanta struck him down. The smith mourned for the hound, and to make up for his loss, Setanta took an oath: "I will be your Hound until you have found a suitable replacement for this one." Thus, Setanta became known as the Hound of Chulainn.
most likely Gil hesitated to use Enkidu until he tired of this or something like that. Or because of how this chain works, Cu`s Protection from Arrows worked even against that to a certain degree

Two reasons:
1) Cú Chulainn has the Skill "Protection from Arrows" which means he's strong against projectiles. Herc doesn't have this.
2) It's not portrayed in the anime, but in the visual novel the narration says that Herc can't go all-out because he was protecting Illya who was right next to him.

The actual reveal of Archer's and Saber's identities in the actual anime were revealed after the next battle. The abridged just straight up told you long before we got to those twists. I noticed the same team did that with Bleach S Abridged.

Hey Kyle it's Trace again with a very long message. I watched the rest of the most recent Minecraft stream and I'm sad to say I have mostly bad news. First, however, I want to apologize I was in a rush and didn't realize dming doesn't work if we are not friends. So to make up for it here is a complete breakdown of an iron farm and clearing up of mining iron as well. I sent a friend request as well if you wish to accept it, I know chat is tough to keep track of while streaming so it may be easier to read a dm.
Let's start with iron mining because it is the easiest. The reason you were not getting iron while mining was because you needed a higher Y level for the new generation. In 1.18 they changed ore distribution and that involved making iron appear most at roughly y 200. This made finding iron super easy and fast.
Now on to the hard part which is the iron farm. The good news is you are partially on the right track and the zombie idea could potentially work but will most likely be less efficient than pushing them with water. Secondly, you called it the dimensions are wrong they spawn in a 17x13x17 area around the center of the village. Determining the center of the village is the hard part however to quote the wiki it can be (but isn't necessarily) a bed or bell. Additionally, the x and y coordinates are determined first and then the golem will spawn on the highest spawnable block within that area.
Now that the Spawn mechanics are out of the way let's move on to the villagers. You need at minimum 10 villagers and 20 beds. 75% of those villagers have to be able to work. I tend to just do 20 villagers, 15 workstations, and 20 beds so I don't risk them breeding and messing up the farm.
The final part is the killing and collection system. The iron golem can spawn in flowing water as long as there are solid blocks underneath it. So what I would do is flood the entire bottom layer with flowing water, sending it toward the killing chamber. The killing chamber is very simple just put signs under where they fall and put lava on the signs. They will not burn and the iron will fall into the hopper underneath before it burns. Then just add a chest that the hopper flows into and you have a working iron farm.
Now, an iron farm is technically an unintended feature and as such can be a real pain to diagnose if anything goes wrong. I think that's everything you need to know about them besides the fact you will be killing a lot of cats on this farm as well thus potentially getting string.
Also just general Minecraft pro tip. 90% of commenters are going to be java players who know nothing about bedrock (the version you play). This leads to a huge conflict of information because they well and truly are very different games.

Fun fact: the special ability of Lancer’s spear, the Gae Bolg, are not the actual properties of the Gae Bolg in Cú Chulainn’s story. The Gae Bolg had thorns in its tip that would grow explosively when it impaled a person, if you threw the spear with your foot.
The power of Lancer’s Gae Bolg in Fate, piercing the heart 100% of the time, more closely resemble the properties of the Lúin, a different legendary irish spear once wielded by Celtchar. With every thrust, the Lúin pierces an enemy even if its tip did not reach them. Every time the Lúin is thrown, it will kill a king and eight other people. The Lúin would also catch fire if it sensed an impending battle and it wasn’t submerged in poison, and it was roughly the size of a modern day telephone pole.

Lancer is a B-Rank in Strength, a C in Endurance, an A in Agility, and as he mentions later in the episode a B rank in Noble Phantasm.
Compare that to Archer's D-Rank Strength, C-Rank Endurance, and C-Rank Agility along with Lancer's innate B-Rank Protection Against Arrows, B-Rank Divinity, and C-Rank Magic Resistance and you can how absolutely outclassed Archer is against Lancer.

Timelines in Fate work on the idea that you should picture it as if everything has already happened.
Heroes that are summoned are kept beyond the end of all time, after time has ceased to be.
so no matter what they do within a timeline, it technically does not matter as they are not altering it, it already happened. (and multiple branches can coexist at the same time)
Archer killing, or failing to kill Shirou won't make a difference.
It has always and will always happen as it already has occurred.
Your next abridged series NEEDS to be Fate/Cero by by Yaro Shien. Not only is it hilarious? Not only does it feature many TFS actors, but it may also give you SOME context for this series, since it's the abridged series prequel to THIS one's source material.

25 min mark - the simple truth about you tube is that people want the sense of being in the room next to you watching and reacting to the same entertainment. Everything else is just kind of white noise that people use to gatekeep with. That's why reaction vids are so common.

It's hard to say how may episodes they have left. I would expect 2 or 3 although they could do it in 1 or 2 if they had to. I'm hoping for 2 or 3 as where they are in the original timeline, the next episode would be legendary and I really want them to do it right. It's funny how archer pretty much played everyone in this series constantly. When you break it down, Archer is the main antagonist of the show which is irony of the most heroic proportions (heroic being irony in and of itself). I expect that you'll get about 20,000 messages once the release date is out.

When it comes to fighting abillities I'm pretty sure Archer is by FAR the weakest of the seven servants.
It is only thanks to his mind's eye skill wich gives him the abillitie to read his opponents movements and his extrememly unorthodx fighting style that he is able to stand up to the others, and not for long battlew cause he just doesnt have the stats for it
In terms of stats he isn't that bad, I'd say he's mid but his Noble Phantasm helps make up for weaknesses when given enough mana
no that would be rider since she is heavily nerfed by shinji who didn't have the qualifications to summon a servant to start with i would rank him 4th which isn't bad considering everyone else in the war had far better legends behind them
@@jakexx2 I was thinking about Meduda with Sakura. With proper mana source Medusa's divinity means she just folds archer on every stat, plus I don't remember if Archer has enough mana rank to properly resist her mistic eyes
@@Benxall problem with archer is he the worst person to fight once he knows your weakness unless it is something that can't be used with medusa he can probably create the items used in her legend

1) Kirei is Lancer's master. IIRC, Kirei killed Lancer's master and took her command seals. I'm probably wrong about this.
2) Archer would not be erased if he killed Shirou. Time in the Fate-verse is multibranching. It's why Archer's original timeline is different from this timeline.
3) What is Archer doing, you ask? He's using his TRUE Noble Phantasm. All the weapons you've seen him use? Those aren't really Noble Phantasms. His true NP is a reality marble that you saw briefly in this episode during his monologue with Baber. Archer is the embodiment of Shirou's ideals, but those ideals caused him nothing but misery and that's why he wants to kill Shirou. He's hoping that by killing Shirou he will stop himself from existing (see point number 2 on why that wouldn't work). The next episode of the abridged series will be where Archer explains everything.
4) No, Caster isn't voiced by Bubble Monkey. She voices Sakura and Illya's maids.

If you are looking for more abridged series to watch, Danmatchi Abridged (How To Be An Adventurer) is a great one. Another is Girls Und Panzer Abridged.
The people who do Fate and Bleach Abridged also have a Digimon Abridged. Highly reccomend it, and should give you enough content for a while
just a reminder it's not that archer wanted saber but in the first timeline they were together in that timeline kind of spoilers btw at the end of fate stay night the 1st route saber confesses that she loves shirou. After this shirou becomes archer and tries to become a hero not for saving everyone but to be able to make it to avalon were heroes end up when they die. heroes are only summoned to the war right before their death and if they have any regrets after saber returns to her timeline, after falling in love with shirou she gives up on her wish so she can wait to be reunited with shirou. It does happen but its an actual eternity before shirou makes it to Avalon. Its my favorite route because I have a soft spot for saber. So history lesson in the first timeline saber doesn't act like a woman and has no experience at being one leading her to not understand why shirou loves her until the very end. the reason is when she was king she had to pretend to be a guy only sir ector his son and merlin knew artoria was a female but kept hidden, so she never got to experience having friends of the same sex and put all her time into becoming king and building camelot. She has a wiki page on her lore/ backstory. Also in the first route shirou give saber mana through the milk route.

To clarify for you what Archer explained about Gae Bolg is true but when it's released like a Javalin it aims directly to the heart and also any wound inflicted by it can't be healed otherwise by countering it or by pure dumb luck you get enough Mana to reverse Gae Bolg's curse
