    Just a tip but if you turn the music down a bit when you talk it might make it a bit better for the hard of hearing 😅

    Really looks the business. I have the raised (boot) floor version so would have less storage space underneath. Currently my good lady has pinched my Yeti as she has a knee problem and mine is automatic (2.0, 4x4) but once I get it back I’m going to measure up for a 1 man (possibly dog too) overnight camper. Have been away camping with it and used a DD tarp over the hatch as a large porch area which worked well but I tented ⛺️ that time. Please post more videos of it in use 👍. Best of luck and stay safe.

    Super...been thinking about doing this kind of thing with my yeti...have you done much camping in it?....where did you get your blinds made?....any issues with condensation?....thanks for sharing

    • @rjturner010480
      @rjturner010480  3 года назад +1

      I have done quite a bit tbh and it was great but as the winter comes in...then need to think is it worth the cold nights being freezing 🥶 the blinds I got from amazon pretty cheap compared to what they are usually advertised and condensation can be an issue but I got myself a window vac to remove as mich as possible which seems to work very well.

      @@rjturner010480 I'm planning for spring time...the thought of waking up in a soggy blanket really fills me with dread..I did see these little crystal trays that soak up moisture and these click on plastic window caps where by you can leave the window open a tiny bit..that's definitely for warmer weather!! Many thanks for your reply. Best wishes

      @@j.e.7028 so I did it before woth a blow up mattress and it was okish but experienced the issue with damp covers as the air mattress air cools down and just an uncomfortable situation to be in. The foam mattress was a million times better as it retains the heat. We leave the windows open slightly and used dehumidifiers and they work well for 1 person sleeping but not overly great for 2. But in the end it's not a campervan with a diesel heater etc. It's a car conversion and sometimes need to sacrifice some luxuries and accept the enviable (regarding dampness etc).

    That looks really cool! I'm thinking about getting a Yeti. How long is the space from the back of the front seats, to the closed hatch? I'm just under 2 m, wonder if i would fit? Thanks!

    • @rjturner010480
      @rjturner010480  3 года назад +1

      No I have tried in the past but with the shape of the window(s), I felt it was harder than getting them precut. Also I got them fairly cheap compared to everywhere else I looked. The cost of materials would have made is about 50% of what I paid but at least these were designed for my car 😀
