Hello and thank you for sharing your creative roomster camper, I like the simplicity of your design.
I am no master carpenter but I can see how I can now build a very similar practical camper.
I like that you do not have any fancy hinges.
I'm going to buy some plywood and basic timber lengths tomorrow.
I plan to leave my roomster back seats in place.
I have a basic sofa bed in my home I plan on using the foam from those.
    Great help,
    Thank you buddy

Thanks for your comments and glad you like the set up and simplicity. This was all about creating something using what i had and on the smallest budget. Good luck with your build!

How much did you raise the floor, I mean for example the height of the supports st the rear boot end.

Thank you for the video - I have subscribed. I've recently bought a 2015 Skoda Yeti and considering converting it for the odd weekend tour around the west coast of Scotland, just myself & my dog. I've not done car camping before, so a few questions if that's ok?
    1. The rear seat removals, do you find this a hassle, in the sense that you will need to store them somewhere dry, and it means you may need to resign yourself to not being able to offer others a lift unless it is a single passenger? I am thinking about how much of a deal it is to replace rear seats, is it a lot of work?
    2. I am thinking about wind deflectors, where did you find the best place to buy them?
    3. When you head on out car camping, do you tend to go somewhere near a town/village so you may have access to public toilet, or do you resign yourself to going to the toilet in the wild?
