@@LlonirTS Nvidia had no real plan with the Super cards, aside from the 4070 Super. Which, in my opinion, is a worthy upgrade and value over the stock 4070. However, everything else is a pure disappointment. They did in fact make the 7900XT and XTX look a lot better than before, so I'm even happier with my 7900XT, which I have overclocked to just about match the 4080 at 1440p.
Good comparison. Finally, one without 4K and Ray tracing on in every comparison, making AMD look worse than what it really is capable of. If you had an AMD CPU, the numbers would probably be even better. I know mine are always better than these benchmarks, running an AMD cpu AND gpu. Most benchmarkers are using Intel cpus.
I'm trying to figure out when gamers became some obsessed with frame rates? I guess it's due to all of the first person shooters. Honestly, anything over 60 fps is good, but people forgot how to just enjoy the game. Buy what you can afford in your budget and do proper research. Thanks for the review.
It's mostly the increased responsiveness that does it for me, it just makes it feel better to play. Can be quite transformative for some games. I usually aim for 90 fps as a nice middle ground as it both feels and looks a lot more similar to 120 fps than 60.
Definitely the responsiveness and smoothness of the frames. My 7900XT demolished my previous 6800 in basically every way, with the framepacing being a major difference in all the games I play.
What many people here don't understand: The Nvidia Super does not work with new clock rates but with TENSOR CORES! These cores are mainly made to perform with Frame Generation (DLSS3). Having had the $7,900 XT, and now I have the 470 TI super. I can confirm that the frame times and 1% lows are definitely shit compared to the 7900. While overall the Nvidia card tends to have more consistent high frame rates throughout a large scale of games. It also never feels as smooth as the AMD card did. And I know that probably is a funny thing to read, because people would have you believe that AMD is like super glitchy or something. Honestly I didn't experience any games whatsoever on AMD where things were skipping or lagging or acting weird. This Nvidia card the very same games I played had skipping issues and terrible frame times. I literally have to run river tuner with a 60 FPS cap then turn on VSync and it's mostly fixed. Nvidia is not this perfect product like people would have you think. It most certainly has its issues. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I want to return this 470 TI super and get the $7,900 XT again. Because honestly I don't use ray tracing and I never will because I always want a smoother experience with no upscaling and better frame time.

Nvidia just sold out the gamer to the ai sector. Splitting a mid range gpu "4070,4070s, 4070 s ti"3 times to squish as much profit as possible... not with me.
Where I live the 4070ti super is cheaper by around 150 usd, and for that money and considering scaling and RT on nvidia is better, the 4070tiS is just a better option.
went from a 7900XT to a 4070tisuper, besides the rasterized gains being minimal in either side for the games i play, having all the tech nvidia has + it being actually implemented in games was simply too much to miss, especially when here both cost the same, no driver headaches, no gpu pulling 350W+ to keep up vs the 4070tiS pulling 240w, and DLAA/DLSS is a godsend with how horrible TAA implementations tend to be. If you don't really care about the toolset nvidia gpu's have, get a GRE, cheap and powerful enough to make the XT and XTX pointless with how much more they cost, otherwise at the 700+ range, i can't justify a radeon because it's minimally faster in some rasterized games and in others it loses, while having a terrible feature set for that price range.
Finally someone who gets it. If I have to correct another "but RT doesn't matter so AMD is better" fanboy, my head is going to explode. These people are logic-resistant. AMD is good at the low and mid ranges, but at the higher end, Nvidia is simply better.
Bro, What is the best option between the 4080 and the 4070 Ti Super? I mean even with the 4080 Super, the performance will be same as 4080. If there is a 5-10 fps difference in most games, is there any benefit to the RTX 4080/ RTX 4080 Super over the RTX 4070 Ti Super?
Honestly? You're better off with the 4080 non super. Since the 4080 Super has the smallest core count increase, the jump in performance will be negligible. You're better off just applying a rough OC to a stock 4080, and you'll essentially have bridged the gap between the two already.
4070 ti super & 4080 super are both good cards just buy whatever your budget allows though something to note is a over clocked 4070ti super is equivalent to a stock 4080
@@ISoldKen 4080 and 4080 Super are way better cards than the 4070 Ti Super though.... the question, is what happens to the non-Super 4080 price - anything? I was wondering which one should I buy. Thanks to this video I know now that I gotta buy that RX 7900 XT for 650$. No way I'm paying Nvidia 820$+ for their 4070 TI Super
I did think like you as well but DLSS is not an understatement...it looks so much better than FSR in most games. Like no discernable difference from native - comparing a nvidia card with DLSS and an AMD card native would even be fair because of that, and the nvidia one would be getting a ton more FPS. Not to mention spending so much money and not being able to turn on some more intensive ray tracing sliders really does suck. Don't get me wrong, you chose nicely as well, but me personally I was willing to pay the extra.

The problem is that game devs will transition to RT native engines, and if AMD doesn't catch up there, they'll become irrelevant...
You're right, as framerate is useless, let's pay more for less frames :) who cares after all, give more money to Nvidia for a worse experience !
Ever since devs stopped making games based on good story telling like undertale and more on the game looks pretty

In prime day 7900xt is $615 compare to cheapest 800 for 4070 ti super.
Where I live the 4070ti super is cheaper by around 150 usd, and for that money and considering scaling and RT on nvidia is better, the 4070tiS is just a better option.
7800x3d + RX 7900XT Here it's super happy playing everything at maximum in 4k.
went from a 7900XT to a 4070tisuper, besides the rasterized gains being minimal in either side for the games i play, having all the tech nvidia has + it being actually implemented in games was simply too much to miss, especially when here both cost the same, no driver headaches, no gpu pulling 350W+ to keep up vs the 4070tiS pulling 240w, and DLAA/DLSS is a godsend with how horrible TAA implementations tend to be.
A gpu pulling 350W is insane

Honestly? You're better off with the 4080 non super. Since the 4080 Super has the smallest core count increase, the jump in performance will be negligible. You're better off just applying a rough OC to a stock 4080, and you'll essentially have bridged the gap between the two already.

DLSS is popular but Frame gen isn't and that's what they're trying to sell you with the 40 series to compete. And even then, its only in a fair select few titles people even care about. In reality, the PC space is loaded with more indie and early access gamers than triple A which support that stuff.
So think again.
And no sweet little AMD fan boy. I'm speaking from experience of owning both for shits and giggles. When I traded a 6950 for a 3090 the only thing I gained was broadcast. When it came to FPS, the 6950 was miles ahead and far smoother gameplay and GAME DETAIL was better too, if you don't know parallax, then sit down.
They're both equal when it comes to game play any more though with 7 and 4 series both, but that frame gen crap has to go. FOR BOTH COMPANIES! It's useless and over selling.
@@FatherLamb One is ideology, about the pros and cons.
The other is how the technology behind it works.
Please differentiate.
I myself am not a fan of the Nvidia marketing and think that such a technology should be for everyone, please don't misunderstand.
4070TI Super = Super disappointment
Amd wins in power, but in raytracing nvidea
AMD is cheaper, but NVIDIA can make money for you.
nvidia for riches amd for poor
Lmaoo paying more for less. Amd is simply better value
If the pricing is the same as this video AMD isnt better
@@nickwu4384 u say amd is not better cuz ray tracing ,,, most of ppl doesnt care about rt .. ray tracing is new tech .. and going to be enough good in 2030 .. so amd for the win!!!!! amd still have time to catch up rt nvidia..!
@@nickwu4384 the 7900xt literally out performs it and it’s cheaper
@@LeCrissDeBuzzer When did I say it's only raytracing? NVIDIA has many other advantages and you are just ignorant if you... Ignore it.
So 4070 ti s better
i dont understand why this stupid tester dont use dlss and fsr we need se this
18gb vram using warzone in rx 7900xt hello wtff whatsssssssss
AMD "allocates" much more VRAM, it's not the VRAM used in real time
Others videos in others webs pages appears that 4070 TI Super is better than 7900 XT!!!
Why???
I prefers AMD, but is only a question.
Rasterization -> 7900 XT
Ray Tracing -> 4070 Ti S
watch hardware unboxed, gamers nexus or vex's reviews they go in depth and shows most of the time its losing to the 7900 xt
@@dabidflor9563 It must hurt your heart to see that AMD is really this good. Go buy it yourself and see for your yourself. My 7800XT a bought just one month ago performs way better than what you see depicted by content creators. I was so impressed with the rasterization performance of the 7800XT that I bought a 7900XT too which arrives today UPS. AMD has now caught up to and surpasses Nvidia DLSS with their FSR 3 in UE5 as well. Saw the video just yesterday where FSR 3 was clearly superior to DLSS in quality mode. NVidia still had the slightly better image in performance mode however. Go see for yourself and stop allow Nvida to scam you. That is what Nvidia has become in their greed. They are now forced to released these Super cards with more RAM because AMD gives you more RAM for longevity. Nvida knew all along that the RAM they were giving you would not be enough for very long. They knew what games were in the works and would be needing more RAM before the public but over and over chose to release their cards with the paltry RAM anyway. That is the very definition of a scam. AMD has also made great gains in their RT performance. If I see you're greedy I'll never buy from you again.
What many people here don't understand:
The Nvidia Super does not work with new clock rates but with TENSOR CORES!
These cores are mainly made to perform with Frame Generation (DLSS3).
The results shown here are only NATIVE! So switched off.
If you let DLSS3 compete against FSR3 here, the Nvidia graphics card is ahead again and also saves a lot of power and temperature!
So AMD has by no means "won" here, as many people wrongly write.
Understand the technology!
