And i don't mean to sound like a dick but pretty much none of the "barrages" you set down hit, I know it's meant to be fun but it's as if most of the time there's no challenge other than ARMA's aimbot bullshit.
The mission wouldnt be very fun if half the team got wrecked by a single mortar shell would it? As far as clans go these guys need to learn a bit about spacing, but as the zeus, his job is to make a fun mission on the fly, not destroy players with a mortar team.
Do you know when we might be able to see some more tank gameplay? I really liked the Challenger 2 video you made a while ago and was wondering if there could be more! :D

I'd honestly like to see a more dug in position, Guys hiding in buildings, around corners, explosives set up in door ways, nasty hidden machine guns hidden in choke points/alley ways, just brutal urban combat that creates alot of casualties (Something the soviets are known for).
Mujahideen didn't really do dug in positions, since they'd always be trying to run away if they weren't conducting an ambush. The Soviets would just fire artillery at them or call in air strikes.

Sherman why dont you make a mission where they have a tank or two that they drive, and they attack a some sort of main outpost or a big city something like that? I mean i would like to see them having armor in control, and they need to resupply repair tracks and all that...

now I get that you wanna zeus the way you want to zeus, but just the constant handholding, like moving up their cars, what was that about? were they incapable of having someone run back for them? that destroys immersion if it really is a RP group you play with.
In one of the recent main ops they told someone to get a vehicle which was a 5 minute run.. I dont want the OP to be paused for 5 minutes because the cars are so far away.. theres no fun in that in sideops

That was the original intent of the T-72, but it ended up being developed parallel to the T-64 and later T-80, considering how similar they were in terms of firepower and protection and that the T-72 was much cheaper to build and easier to maintain, it basically became the staple. The T-72M and T-72M1 were the cheap, shitty export models the Soviets sold to everybody, but the true Soviet T-72s were, and are still great machines. Russia's current primary tank is the T-72B3M (with over 2000 in service, and another couple thousand in reserve), the T-90 program being cancelled (with only 400-500 built) in favor of the new T-14 Armata. Sorry for the tank nerd moment there.
I'd like to see some sources on that. I've read that the T-90 has been in service for the Russians since 1993, with over 3000 built. And I sure as hell know that the Finnish Defence Force is trained to fight against T-90s, with some technical specs and capabilities of them being taught in basic training.

Russia at one point had some 1400 T-90AM tanks on order, in addition to the current 500 but from what I hear most of that order never made it through. Here's the best source I had available.
