White also opened up about her love story with husband Allen Ludden, who died of stomach cancer in 1981. Betty passing away at 99 while her fans waited in anticipation for her big bash 💯 party. Dying on the Last Day of one of the worst years in modern history. She worked for 80 years as the longest performing actress in the industry and she never received a single negative review. With a cabinet full of awards and a choice of television rolls along with her wit, spunk and charm this Icon will be sorely missed by all.

Actually that will happen pretty fast. Most middle aged people or youngsters today have never heard of the super stars that seemed to have eternal glory just 2 or 3 generations earlier.
@@Celisar1 I think you'd be surprised at how many, even kids know who Betty White is. People like me who watched shows like Golden Girls, still watch it. And so did my kids. We pass that down to the younger generations.
I was often a fairly unhappy and gloomy youngster but the golden girls always lifted my spirits. I am so grateful for all the laughs and this is so so sad.
The biggest gift was always from her……..RIP
She will be very well missed. Out of all celebrities she was one of few I had genuine respect and love for. She brought so much joy and laughter when I watched the Golden Girls. I hope she is having fun with the girls again, back together again. Rest in peace and God love you Betty White❤

A wonderful and caring woman, comedian and awesome actress. The list could go on and on. I grew up watching all her shows, loved them all. She never disappointed. Just yesterday I thought, damn, 99….and her birthday is a round the corner, I can’t wait what a party it will be!!! My sincere condolences to all her family, friends.. and to the many, many who loved and adored her around the world! RIP Betty White 🕊 You will never be forgotten.

The sad thing about it every year right at the end of the year someone famous always dies. This one is going to touch my heart and soul for a very long time. Betty White is like your TV grandma, she could put a smile on your face on your deepest days. Golden girls was a great show I love watching her even as a young child like I said she was my grandma on TV. Even my children now 26 and 15 are watching Golden girls. It’s a whole tradition in my family we even have the entire season of every single golden girls we will cherish forever. You for sure went out with a bang Betty White. 12. 31. 21. Betty was a doll. She lived a good life. Her life was well lived. I think her vitality came from her light hearted personality. She was funny. She laughed and touched so many hearts. May her family and loved ones be filled with peace. Though the world grieves with them, they truly knew her inside and out. She is definitely smiling upon us all.

Golden Girls tv serial give me a warm and soothing feeling like you're with lived ones. Sometimes I just play it and I do my chores, feel like you're not being alone.
You must remember she outlived each of her co stars who were younger or older than she was. My goodness, she was tougher than most, but was an incredibly vibrant. woman. She even taught us how to live each day at a time.

After I saw a post by a friend on FB, a NYTimes article announcing Betty White's death, I started to view some of the reports on various news outlets posted on RUclips. This is by the best one so far. It really gave me a better sense of her as a whole person, and was very touching. RIP Betty White.

So Betty & her beloved husband are together again. My mother just passed away two weeks ago yesterday and I know she too is back with her soulmate. My mother never remarried either. When Betty said you had the best forget the rest is so true. My mother would definitely agree with her!

Nearly 100 years of a life spent in the arts sharing laughs with the world around her knowing she was a beloved American icon, and nearly 100 years of good health too, followed by a very quick and sudden passing. I'm happy a person this fundamentally good, got to have a life that wonderfully blessed. There was a warmth to her that is sadly missing in our modern world.

She lived through 24 leap years.. In my book she made it to 100!
