Still thinking whether I should go for the 40 series or wait for the 50 series. Hope you'll beat the scalpers next month and get some 5070/80 cards for the reviews. I need to see mh wild demo and Assetto Corsa EVO ultrawide benchmark too before deciding it
Just bought an RTX 4070 Super for 730 USD. Hoping it can last me till the PS7 generation of consoles come. I think it will. The RTX 2070 (8GB) was launched 2 years before the PS5 release and with the help of DLSS upscaling it can play the latest PS5 games. I upgraded from 1080p to 1440p and first thing I did was test DLSS quality and balanced and I can't tell the difference between native and balanced DLSS in normal gameplay. I didn't know DLSS is this good. For now I am going to enjoy an amazing experience with my 4070 Super. This card is soo strong. Just started playing Witcher 3 with all settings (and RT) to the max with DLSS Quality. Since it's an older game even with the new gen update I installed a 13GB texture mod and the game is gorgeous now.
Indeed, watching a video about DLSS resolution upscaling and experiencing it firsthand are two completely different things. It’s arguably the best GPU feature available today.
Do you think also the light base 600 LX would offers enough space for this kind of hardware? I currently have similar hardware in my case (Ryzen 7 7800X3D & RTX 4070).
@@Jayper4 "is said", lol, i dont care about what people said. When I was a noob in PC, i would go with this said rule or whatever components like Nvidia. I’m interested in adding a monitor like that to the roster. However, I’m not sure where I’d put it. I’ll probably get one once I move to a bigger apartment-hopefully sometime next year.
currently have a 4080 paired with a 13900k and im looking to upgrade to the 5090 aftermarket card once it releases. do you think i should upgrade cpu as well?
Bro, would you recommend ultra-wide 1440p screens like these for FPS games like Warzone, Apex Legends and Delta Force ? Does this give any competitive advantage ?
It depends on your perspective. Ultrawide monitors can offer an advantage by providing a wider field of view. However, how valuable that is to you personally is something only you can decide. From what I’ve heard, most pro players don’t use ultrawide monitors.
For FPS shooters, for COD/Warzone. You can adjust the HUD Bounds to the middle of your screen so you can stay competitive. Plus you have a bigger field of view so you can see enemies around the corner sooner. But for other FPS games you won’t get an advantage as the HUD expands at the corner of your screen so it’s harder for your eyes to scan the game and the HUD. But for third person shooters you’ll definitely get an advantage
I am rocking this card as well as a 5800x3d and I’m going to try to make it last until the am6 platform eventually comes out before I upgrade anything other that storage
PoE2 freezes my PC only on loading screens. It happens at least once or twice every time I play. Hope they fix it soon. Oh and I have the Alineware AW3423DWF 3440×1440P. R7 78X3D paired with the 4080 super.
@@kasadam85 The 7600/7600X is fine. But you have to be prepared to dial back CPU-hungry settings in some games to ensure that your experience stays smooth. That's something that you won't have to worry about as much with the 7700/7700X. Example: High crowd density setting in Cyberpunk 2077.
I went with a 4070 ti super on a th4p4g3 egpu displayed hooked up to a Legion Go on a 3440x1440 widescreen..Cyberpunk avg 95 fps with all settings on highest, Indiana Jones avg 115 fps
Do you think the 4070 SUPER is enough for a good experience on an ultrawide 1440p monitor?
Can you test it on sd1.5 and flux ai models using comfyui? Thanks.

Is the difference between 4k & 1440p that big of a difference? I have a 4k monitor but was thinking about a 1440p ultrawide for a secondary monitor
The difference is definitely significant, especially if you compare them side by side. Although, both are enjoyable.
1440p is said to be the sweet spot for 27inch. General rule i use is 24” 1080x 27” 1440p and anything bigger in 4k

Ultra Wide? Thats only Wide.. when 21:9 is ultra wide what is then 32:9
