- For over 125 years, the quiet community of Cassadaga has been somewhat of a mystery to many Central Floridians. Just ask the town’s activities coordinator and historian, Jamie Ratcliff.
"The one misconception that drives me the most crazy is that we are a community of witches. We don't cast spells; we don't do anything of that nature," Ratcliff insisted.

I've been to cassadaga and was walking through the cemetery there and saw a spirit of some sort rise up from the ground level behind a grave and start spinning in circles coming closer to me...I don't think I ever ran so fast in my life and as this was happening the solar lights near graves were turning off as it was approaching.. then driving through a huge orb flew right over our car. I don't think I've ever been so freaked out in my life. A very strange scary rare experience and half the people to read this probably won't believe me but I've seen many spirits since I was a little girl but this one in the grave yard had me scared to death ... It was about 230-3am when this happened
