I used to compare myself to Ariana grande on victorious all the time growing up., I even noticed her features changing and I thought mine would change drastically while going through puberty. Of course mine didn’t… because I wasn’t getting surgery to alter them…
Kimjhelsy DeGuzman Tbh their beauty standards are more achievable than American beauty standards (idk where you live but I’m from the US). Regular Americans get way more invasive surgeries than regular Koreans, and plastic surgery in underaged kids are getting soooo normalized due to tiktok. Plastic surgery amongst underaged celebs have been normal for awhile now ie kylie Jenner, dove Cameron, Ariana, then it went to underaged influencers like Charlie and Dixie damelio and now just regular American kids getting nose jobs and lip fillers and posting about it. Also the constant teeth bleaching and shaming if your teeth aren’t blinding white: that’s an American impossible beauty standard as well. Its actually normal for most humans to have slightly yellowish teeth, it doesn’t mean you have poor hygiene. regular people do not have completely white teeth , but it’s actually astonishing how mainstream Americans think white teeth is equal to clean, good brushing/flossing , and yellow teeth means poor oral care. A lot of my friends in uni have already gotten nose jobs and boob jobs. The most common plastic surgery in the US is boob job which can actually kill you if something goes wrong. The most common plastic surgery in Korea is epicanthic fold surgery, which is not considered invasive and sometimes even elderly folks have to get due to vision problems as the skin on their eyelids start to sag. Like I’m half Korean and my Korean aunt who’s in her sixties had to get the procedure even tho she already has natural epicanthic folds but due to age, the skin on her eyelids started to sag
No baby, don't compare yourself to Wonyoung or another artists, doesn't matter. Natural or not. You are beautiful the way you are, trust me! Don't compare yourself, you are still very very young :(
