This was so helpful! I started genshin 2 days ago and I’m trying to learn about the basics of the game and this video + the beginners guide video helped a lot
dude thank you so much for this video. I've been playing now for two weeks (almost AR35) and been having trouble finding a concise video or explanation detailing the elements in Genshin for beginners like myself. I'm running a Kaeya Freeze comp (got a early C1 and realised its the rarest pull in the game), with Xingqiu, Chongyun, and Xiangling for annoying cryo and hydro enemies. Also running a flex Fischl and learning what elemental reactions are messing up with team synergy is really helpful. Basically super conduct bad :)
I have a few suggestions for your team, as well as a few good resources where you can find some well researched guides if you need any in the future. It turned out a bit long but I am sure it will be helpful for you in the long run. Firstly, for your team. I would suggest you remove Xiangling from it. She is a really good unit and I cannot overstate how good she is, but she cannot really do most of her stuff without a Bennett. Plus, she is messing with your freeze uptime which you really don't want when you have kaeya C1 and cryo resonance. For what characters you would want to replace her with, a rosaria would be the best option if you have her, otherwise basically any anemo or cryo unit would be ok. If you can't spare either than just put in a ttds Barbara and it'll be a bit better than it currently is. Replacing Xiangling in this team does another great thing, in that you can then use her on the second side of the abyss if you have a Bennett. Also, if you want to learn more about elemental reactions, or game mechanics in general, I would recommend another RUclips channel named zajef77. He has been in the theorycrafting circle for quite a lot of time, so I can definitely recommend him as a reliable source. For you as a beginner, I would recommend his elemental reaction guide, as it is a bit more in-depth than this one. Another youtuber would be slime King dojimaman, however he doesn't really make many beginner guides and you require some understanding of characters to really understand his content. I would still recommend him though, because you will eventually reach a state when you would be able to understand his content, and it would benefit you in terms of your gameplay. Some other sources I would like to mention are: Firstly, the keqingmains website is the best source if you need a guide for building and playing any character. It's not just about artifacts and weapons, since they have really in depth gameplay explanations for characters so that you can bring out the best out of every character. Secondly, if a new character banner comes up and you need an opinion from someone who doesn't just call every character broken for a clicker title, I would recommend tenten. Though he's a bit too harsh on characters' flaws sometimes, his impressions of them are mostly correct other than a few notable exceptions when he's called characters bad and it turned out they weren't that bad. I'd still say he's mostly accurate and even if he isn't, not getting a good character is still better than wasting your primogems on a bad one. Also, if you end up watching him then do remember, 3/5 isn't a bad rating. It's the rating he gives to most balanced characters as he doesn't want to inflate his ratings by putting everything in s tier. These are all for my recommendations, I hope you enjoy your adventure in teyvat (until you run out of resin).
OMG!! This guide was insanely well done and helpful even for someone like me who is on AR 53. Usually I had to watch a lot of videos to understand everything about EM and I still wasn't 100% clear on all the concepts but this video cleared everything for me. I'm gonna recommend and share this video to anyone who is new to the game and wants to understand EM and how it works so that they can maximise their damage effectively. Thanks so much for this guide. 💖
I started genshin 2 weeks ago. All these were confusing or it made me felt lost. This video made it SOOO easy to understand. Tysm! You also caused a reaction. It said “subscribed”
Subbed! I really appreciate the amount of work that goes into these in-depth guides and prefer them to the super short breakdowns a lot of people put out.
Once again I'm late 2 the party and just started genshin about a week. At first I was able 2 just brute force and luck my way through until AR 25 and hit a wall. This video helped so much, most other videos make it way more complicated to grasp so subbed keep up the awesome work and thank u
Yae Miko's little known reaction is insane and worked on me~ Thanks for the guide, this newbie will returning to it since I'm still testing the waters for the combat system.
Oh boi your explanation style plus the clear focus on words along with the playing character makes it so easy to understand. Genuinely you have done your hardwork to create the video, and in return we all are able to understand it quite easy. (ps I had to take notes as there was a flood of information)😅
i know i already thanked you when i stopped by your stream but i gotta say again, this was so clearly explained and you know just how much information to drop before it becomes boring/ungraspable. plus you have a habit of repeating already taught mechanics to ensure confidence in that knowledge. you'd be an amazing teacher... more so than you technically are now.
The most helpful reactions and elemental mastry video i have ever seen, thank you so much for explaining all this in a very simple way, now i understand them 😁
i have a test on magnetism and its working principles tomorrow. i stumbled upon this video and the introduction made me believe that i can finally understand the age old complexities in a simple and fun manner. well, guess what character i ended up pulling today to fill in for my team resonance?!!!?
THANKS A LOT FOR THIS VIDEO i'm a complete noob and very new to this rpg game and its hard for me to understanddddd but your thorough explanation HELPS A LOTTTTTTTTTTT thank you ❤
Thank you for making this, just got into the game am Ar33 and your videos as been helping out a lot in materials management and wat to do at each level. Am an f2p so your videos are really helpful. Thank you much love ❤️ I subbed by the way.
I think there might’ve been a mistake with beidou’s overload, the white number is her NA physical damage so it wouldn’t have triggered a reaction, it would be her burst’s electro hit procced by NA. I think that’s the purple 3251, and the transformative damage is the 237? Great guide btw wish I had seen this when I first started
New to the game, trying to get a hang of things, watching your videos. Great videos, and you are funny to watch. Funny, and a bit crazy too, me thinks. Lol
Bro I literally just started genshin... And now there is another element dendro...I hope u have made a video about that too caz I really need to know everything 😭
One of my favourite ways to kill groups is To use bennets ult. Then kaeyas ult. Followed by Barbara’s burst then beidous ult. Result is a dead boss or group of enemies
Very interesting. Thank you very much for your video. You explained very concise and slow enough for me to understand. I am trying to build a Hyperbloom team to be my 2nd abyss team (consists of electro Kuki, dendro MC, hydro Xingqiu, and anemo Sucrose for swirl and EM share) I now understand that em is mandatory on Kuki as she is the trigger of Hyperbloom, and for Sucrose as well, but what about Dendro MC? does he have to wear EM artifact?

As someone who just started today, this has been massively helpful in clearing up some of the interactions i've seen.

Never too late ❤️
Never too late to rim someone’s mother
This is the best verbal essay I've ever heard. I'm so serious, this should be in classrooms to show how to explain... well, everything.
Yae Miko's little known reaction is insane and worked on me~ Thanks for the guide, this newbie will returning to it since I'm still testing the waters for the combat system.
Overload is the best. Yes it causes small targets to fly (juggling is fun) but it breaks shields.
Very effective wth beidou

I really appreciate this because I couldn't find anyone who would describe that the elemental mastery needs to be on the trigger character.
You're 2 for 2 on guides that are hella helpful for a newb like myself. Thank you!

Your GI videos are the best I’ve seen so far in my 2 weeks of playing. Cheers!
Damm ur guides are concise and very easy to grasp ... Am baffled at the fact ur only at 5k subs... Keep up the gr8 work mate... Subbed n liked!
This was the best video I've found that explains who needs EM and how it all works. Thank you!

only 8k subs? no way, you desrver way more. nice video man
Thanks for this! This was actually quite helpful in understanding the different reactions and I can now improve my gameplay earlyon!
I've been playing the game for half a year now and this has been really helpful!!!!
I started genshin last month and this video really helped me. Absolutely the best video I've seen on this topic
The most helpful reactions and elemental mastry video i have ever seen, thank you so much for explaining all this in a very simple way, now i understand them 😁

Sensational video! This was so helpful for me. Elemental reactions are very complicated. Can you update this video and talk about dendro?
wow thanks man, this sums it up, especially the elemental parts, autosub
Great video! Definitely some stuff in there that I didn’t know about yet
I have no freaking idea why this video has only 700+ likes. One of the best explanations I've ever heard, and WITHOUT ton of math! Thank you so much.

Most important point, only triggering character em matters.
This video needed more appearances of Diluc.
I need a notebook for all the tips! Thanks a lot!
Thanks so much. Im novice at this, and am simply using luck and repetitive buttons to kill enemies. 😢 Hope to get these reactions in order 😢

He is better than my chemistry professor at Harvard
Nice video! Thank you bro!
Bro I literally just started genshin... And now there is another element dendro...I hope u have made a video about that too caz I really need to know everything 😭

The only thing you forgot is the other age old question: “what ARE frogs?”
One of my favourite ways to kill groups is
To use bennets ult. Then kaeyas ult. Followed by Barbara’s burst then beidous ult.
Result is a dead boss or group of enemies
only if this guy was my maths teacher. i would have scored A grade
