    My own variation of the Suplex.
    An awesome move that I hope you guys learn from, enjoy and try out with caution.

    Beautiful training facility. Also surprised one of my training partners with the Tornado throw the other day after watching your video, it was a lot of fun since I usually pull guard :D

    Roberto, como está a regra no ibfjj, parece que proibiram o suplex jogando sobre a cabeça? Desde já muito obrigado pelas técnicas👍

    • @Cyborgbjj
      @Cyborgbjj  6 лет назад +1

      Israel Nicolino Moura isso, desde que vc não jogue de cabeça ainda vale. Por isso esta variação é boa, pq vc derruba, mas sempre mantém o controle do pescoço. 🙏🏻👊🏻

    I used this takedown in wrestling before I knew it was actually a thing, it actually came from a badly executed suplex but it worked pretty good so I kept using it if I had an opening

    Crazy how this is being shown now. We were doing this in the 90's

    • @xkidmidnightx
      @xkidmidnightx 6 лет назад +6

      yeah........ pretty sure people were doing it in the 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s, etc. Then again not everyone was wrestling or even alive back then so they have to be taught.

      Daniel W it’s hard to be sure through text but it seems like you mean that negatively. I think this is the best thing about today’s bjj. The adoption of techniques that work regardless of their origin. It’s grappling’s mma.

      @Daniel W not everything, just most of it.

      grappling arts and disciplines have been doing the same techniques since thousands of years. Greeks, Rome, Japan, Brazilian, Russian, USA, African and so on
      i think the difference comes from the objective of each technique in the specific grappling art and rule set, probably most of them were created even before any country existed cause Grappling is the natural self defence that instinct tells us to try even without training, ask Boxing dudes, they clinch and grab each other a lot when they are in danger, or street fights whatever (i hope you get my point )
      sorry for the broken english, i hope it doesnt suck so much hahaha

    I also see the single leg suplex available once you turn the corner and switch the hands

  • @tabamasao1393
    @tabamasao1393 6 лет назад +2

    Na transição do single leg para costas há risco de levar uchimata ou harai makikomi do judoca!
    Mas bonita técnica!

    • @cesaralvesdemoraes3187
      @cesaralvesdemoraes3187 6 лет назад

      Perigoso mesmo, pena que poucos judocas treinam essa defesa por causa das novas regras

    • @ramon1930
      @ramon1930 4 года назад

      Não se uchimata no jiu jitsu. O risco de alguém grudar nas suas costas é muito grande

    From a wrestling stand point, that's not a suplex. You would instead do a full back bridge and turn once your head touches the mat. I haven't seen a single like that before either, we would shoot to the inside of the leg or inside of the legs for a double then pick up and run.

  • @evaahn

    Uchimata counter or makicomi counter.. May be in jujitsu works, no in judo, no in wrestling.. Better to use Ura Nage or Ushiro goshi.
