This game is more simulation were the spin is determined by how you hit it, where as the older games where more arcady although you could take assists off in those old games

Does anybody know if this game uses a 2 tap button swing or if it uses analog swinging like the old Tiger Woods games? I see the meter but haven't seen how it actually works
Change the club loft (LB or L1) and left stick up. Use your shot arc in case it's the opposite, but I associate it with tilting the club head forward to deloft it.
@@westoftherockies haven't really dove into complete shot shaping yet, so I'm not sure on pitches. Regular shots for sure. I know at the very least you can push the right stick up on pitch shots to get it to roll. I am fairly certain you can punch out of a pitch, but it may not punch a whole lot. It also may depend on the Shot Shaping attribute of the club too.

In regards to your swing tempo, go to Training and calibrate your shot. This will really help with your tempo for getting perfect shots.
