    There's a variety of influences in her own accent. Makes me realize that we're all a crazy collection of experiences and history. What a wonderful world this is.

    I thought the woman in the video was Irish, it was only when she said Newfoundland that I realized she wasn't.

      Naaaa, it sounded much more North American. However if you listen to an old Newfoundler on another link, then it really sounds Irish.

    Peculiar that the person talking about being proud of the Newfoundland dialect is using a suppressed Newfoundland dialect.
