Jack did an amazing job in his role. Really, I don’t think anyone could have pulled it off as well as Jack did.
this was a phenomenal film
Every second of it
Jack really deserved an Oscar for that role.
one of my favorite films -- perfect casting and direction -- jack black deserved an oscar.
such a great movie, I recommend this movie to everyone.
I’ve always loved this movie & their chemistry on screen. But this interview makes me long for hours and hours of behind the scenes things, interviews, and everything...because they’re such an unusually splendid match! I’d even love for them to host a screening of favorite films or something, where they could discuss their opinions on beloved films. They’re just great. On their own and together.
The thing that I would like You to know is that Bernie Teide was NOT from Carthage Texas. He moved here just a few years before all of that happened.
That’s true. He grew up in Abilene, Texas, about 315 miles away from Carthage.
Great film.love jack black he's hilarious
What an excellent film! I'm obsessed.
This ain’t just some old lady, for those of you who don’t know. Look her up on RUclips. She was a great dancer with a killer body for a long time. Very talented
me too! Its JB's best yet.
I have watched this movie more than 10 times because the actors were just awesome and the director just nailed the small town personality. The funny thing is that I heard about the Bernie incident on the news and I had just gone through the town if Carthage and me and my wife both commented on what a scenic town it is. Fast forward some years and I saw the movie title on Amazon and wondered if was about the news story that I had heard about and to my delight it certainly was and I just loved it
I just watched the movie tonight, and it’s one of the best dark comedies based on real people I think I’ve ever seen. Jack did a pretty good job 👍🏾
Shirley McLaine is hilarious.
"I could probably talk to her." What a nut.
This was a surprisingly good movie. The thing that made me watch it was that it was actually filmed about 40 minutes from where I live.
pksmb1120 wow that’s so cool, Berni is such a sweet guy , you have a good day 🙏🏼🙏🏼
love them both. can't wait to see this flick.
She was immensely talented
She's still alive...86 years old now.
The only thing that they forgot by Mrs Nugent is the round glasses
Ha ... towards the end, you're out on a limb there, Shirley. Great acting with Jack Black.
Great film
Love this movie :)
Y do ppl hate on Jack Black?
He is dope
Your Reply Wont Be Read hate is a strong word..its probably the nasty look in his eyes..
Jack Black grows on you. I really like him.
Lol I've literally never heard anyone say anything bad about Jack Black, but I'm sure it's happened at some point.
I‘m seeing nothing but praise for him in these comments.
One of my favorite movies. Shirley McClain could not say a word and I dispised her.
Is she still in character?
Listen, this is even more legitimately small town Texas than small town Texas. Dynamite
I thiinnnk Shirley May have had a few🍸🍸🍸
What was the name of the movie he played in where a dead horse came floating by?
I remember something about a dead horse in movie called "Envy" but I don't know if it ever floated by.
Yes a sequel but then ...no

SEQUEL! SEQUEL! SEQUEL!
I Love the Gambit I hate the remake.
Well he's out of prison ... Now they can do sequel
Victor Flores no he isn't. He just got a resentence: 99 years!
Emil Harnung oh yeah? What happened ? Wasn't he on some kind of work release ?
Victor Flores Apparently he was only released while waiting for his resentencing. Sadly for him, the resentencing made matters worse.
Bernie sadly he is back in
