Design choices which tick all the boxes for my two handed fishing, an elegant look and my previous experience with Sage make the first two reels in this line a must see for me. I hope the build quality seen up close matches what I expect. I especially like the palming reel design. I think setting a low drag and combining that with palming would be perfect for playing the 8 to 13 lb lower Great Lakes migratory fish. In the upper fisheries of the Great Lakes I could just dial in more drag, increase the tippet, take my vitamins and be OK with the same reel. Sweet.
sorry for being an asshat - an offset reel would make the line ride harder on a given guide/rod? - frisction matters. esp. when im dry on a small creek i want it all centered redardless. Elaborate pls. Thanks in advance-
