@@Leavenotraceexpeditions you can put two (or more, depending on the reel size) fingers underneath the reel, and add pressure where the backing/line is. Worked on my casca 8/9 , when I landed a 102 cm salmon on a dh 8 wt rod in 2022... drag is overrated...
Now 4/5 and 6/7 don't have RULON drag?
Thats correct, just the 8/9 & 10/11 have rulon drags.
