Frodo - I'm sorry for your losses and I understand how you can easily feel resentment and anger towards a person who has betrayed you. However, YOU are still here and YOU are still whole. Perhaps the lost loved ones' gift to you was to be in your life, on your path for exactly time they were there. That's what it means to trust in the Divine. I'm so grateful that I stumb,ed across a interview you were on recently on channel 5 all it took was for me to hear the words judgment detox and I sat down , I am in recovery just celebrated 7 year I also work in recovey at times I can feel my judgment get in the way I just started your book and already I'm feeling excited. as a person on the constant search to discovering my own true freedom I can not wait to see what this reading this book and doing the work helps me experice to be able to not allow judgment to control me or get in the way of the work my higher power created me to be able to share with other addicts and people in general again thank you ! a new fan!!

She has made videos that weren't related to any event or seminar but just for the sake of teaching and helping. "God helps those who help themselves". I don't think manifesting is abt sitting back and waiting for things to happen out of thin air. It's about taking action based on your own inner guidance and attracting positive things in your life thanks to that new momentum. Most people relate to her message and benefit from it, so why not? This is how business should and will be in the future.

I agree to everything you just stated because none of it countered anything I mentioned. She has been and should continue to be active, making videos/products that teach and inspire people. Check. She should, in my opinion though, try to keep free teachings/inspirations separate from advertising her paid products/seminars. Not doing so, blurs the line between "I'm teaching you because I love you" and "I'm just giving you something because I want your money."

+Lauren Cortinas I think it's important to remember that this is YOUR LIFE and often times we want to control other people around us or wish they weren't the way they are, but we can't. The power we have is over our own moods and our own happiness. What I've found is when I do the inner work and become the person I want to be, the negative people just end up not being there anymore. Also, maybe start to evaluate WHY there are always negative people around? Could you possibly be contributing to such behaviour? There is nothing wrong with a little self evaluation.
The person I trusted the most betrayed me the most and has led to the loss of THREE people in my life. Yes I know I am provided for, I feel that - it's so tough with money but I always make it. But... what does it matter if I just lost people who were the world to me? Am I supposed to be serene (I am but just because what else to do)? How, just exactly how after a life of loss could that happen? What should that teach me? That I am never gonna be loved as I am? Where's DIVINE in that?
I've noticed you wear the same crystal necklace. Ive watched quite a few of your videos recently and I love your necklace. What does it mean to you? it seems to stay with you over the years.
I don't think it's wrong for her to make a video specifically about selling space to an event or promoting her latest works, etc. But I think if she is presenting a video as a free service (a meditation or helpful thought or mantra) then it shouldn't contain what is basically an advertisement. I guess I feel like it lessens the value because it feels like she only created the content to sell the ad. The other thought is that manifesting must not be working so well if she has to plant those ads.
I understand your point, but I think that (especially in Gabby's case)it requires funds to reserve seminar rooms or to create great quality videos. She is a spiritual entrepreneur who makes an honest living by helping people. Is it wrong?
I like that you have a positive message, but I feel like I'm always being sold something. I understand feeling proud of your worth, and charging a price for a service, but it irks me for whatever reason, when one who preaches manifesting, feels the need to promote products or services as part of their messages. I feel the same way about preachers who give sermons on giving to the church. If you have to sell me on the concept of giving, maybe it's not that great?
