- Hi friends! Today we gave Meeka & Zelda The Huskies A SECRET Bath! You already know Meeka The Talking Husky HATES baths/the groomers and FLIPS OUT / goes crazy usually! Whenever Meeka sees soap or knows she’s getting a bath she starts FREAKING OUT so today we wanted to try a NEW approach! 🤣🛀🧼
Instead of putting her in the bathtub, we made a POOL in our backyard so they felt like they were playing and swimming instead of bathing!

She doesn’t see it as a bath, 😊 she sees the pool as fun. The moment she hears bath time, no she doesn’t want a bath. Lol the secret bath for Meeka and Zelda are so cute! 😂❤
It is actually because of the protective coating that huskies have in their fur. Other dogs don’t benefit from this coating and it (can) make huskies very anxious when someone tries to wash the coating out of their fur (and/or to trim their fur). Their reaction to shampoo, as opposed to plain water, isn’t entirely irrational from the husky’s perspective

Growing up my parents bred AKC, Championship Bloodline, Siberian Huskies. As a little girl the dog's +ALLLLL of the puppies made my childhood SOOOO VERY happy, fun & entertaining as well as taught me how to train dogs & be a loving, responsible pet owner/advocate for all breeds of dogs! In the right home, Siberian Huskies are a wonderful, energetic breed to own but the owners MUST have the time it takes to properly train their Husky because they require A LOT of sacrifice & undivided attention to thrive in the household! I love matching Meeka's channel because she brings me back to that time, as a kid & she looks just like my favorite pet Husky, Tai, who was the main Stud my parents bred & he was just as vocal as Meeka+look almost identical!
