$29 for a TURKEY LEG!?!? I could buy a whole entire turkey for that price!!! What HAPPENED to this country??
It’s the same here in Canada. I live in Calgary, Alberta & we have the Calgary Stampede. The food and drink is ridiculously overpriced (not all to do with inflation…mostly price gouging).
Increased food coats and soaring labor costs equals high priced everything
Joe momma happened! I mean Joe B!
The food at county fairs has always been a rip off
You voted for it.
i always like and feel very interesting these videos.
I just went to the OC Fair yesterday. Despite the heat and the prices of some items, it was a lot of fun! Would totally recommend going!
Sweet!
Can’t wait to visit the fair this year. I’m so bummed to hear the Australian battered potatoes are gone! They’ve always been a fave of mine.
Yeah... I like the Australian Battered Potatoes too!
As a resident of Costa Mesa and having to commute on freeway, I’m always glad when the fair is over lol
I bet :)
Looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the info + video!
We always have a good time at the fair... thanks Jimmy!
I look forward to this every year, so much fun! always bring plenty of cash haha
Thought about going to the fair and now I can say I went lol. Dude thumbs up!!!!
We not only do we appreciate the tour but also the prices.
Well done!
Thanks so much!
It's been over 40 years since I went to the fair. A lot of changes and many places are still the same. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! Time for a revisit :)
Thank you for OC Fair tour and saving me +$500 dollars worth of food, rides and useless fair prizes.
Hah
Looking forward to attending the fair this year!
Hope you have a great time!
Several years ago, I had the BEST time at the OC Fair. A friend was doing a live radio broadcast from the fair and asked me to guest on the show. Throughout the show, the various food vendors would bring generous portions of tasty (and really unhealthy) fair food over to the broadcast booth for us to try. Turkey legs, deep fried everything, a huge plate of nachos - you name it. Probably not the best idea to stuff myself like that but, as they say, YOLO! Great job, as always, Chris! Hope you and the fam are having an awesome summer.
Yolo for sure!
Hi Chris. Very lovely day for a walking video of the OC Fair. The attractions are wonderful.but for me it's all about the food. So many wonderful choices to choose from and enjoy. A great place to spend the day and work off those calories. LOL. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks James! We love the food too!
God bless America 🇺🇸
That's me 23:34 with two
29$ for a turkey leg lmaooooo 😂😂😂 & 1.29 for 1TICKET . 😂😂😅😅
I love that fair, but left So Cal 30 years ago, so only see it when I can plan my family visits at the same time!
Don't forget to write a postcard to the troops at the Hero's Hall❤❤❤
The best casino dining is at the Atlantis Resort & Casino. My wife and I have gone to all Reno casinos for many years. The Napa Bistro and Atlantis Steakhouse are fantastic! Great wines and the friendliest staff. It's not cheap, but we have NEVER been disappointed. The buffet area was recently remodeled and its packed every Friday and Saturday.
The best thing to do is to go visit the centennial farm after the fair is over lol it’s open every day until 4pm
Great tip
love your stuff watched it for years. I think you should speed up these walking vids to 1.1x speed
Thanks for the suggestion :)
LOVE your shirt!
Thanks Melissa!
The lady sayings Rub the Buddha adorable
I went last year .
Chicken Charlie’s had “fried Kool-Aid” one year back in 2016. It was so crazy delicious. It was like fried pancake batter infused with Cherry Kool-Aid. Most delicious thing ever, and it’s been gone ever since.
Oof, I found that quite dreadful, actually! NOT their best idea!
Oooh
This is quite a different experience to what we have down here each June in Del Mar! I really like the focus on the agricultural exhibits (I always do recognize a Lot of the vendors each year you do these videos, however!)
Agreed Ed... different flavor at the OC Fair... definitely more agriculture
Here for the food 😂
Mmm
What happened to the Australian potatoes we miss them at the Pomona Fair this year they were good the last couple years
I'd like to know the same!
You can bring in a soft-sided cooler (an insulated bag). A friend brought two insulated bags for his family (wife and two kids), and was told that the limit is one insulated bag per group. This is not stated on the website, so plan accordingly.
I've had esquite (basically elote in a cup) not at the OC fair but it is good. I went to the OC Fair in 2019 with my sister, grewat niece (Sister's granddaughter) and her friend . I had a wonderful time and tried a Sonoran Hotdog for the first time amd absolutely loved it. My sister and her granddaughter did the Parafen wax hand impressions before we left , Had a wonderful time, first time going to thr fair.
Awesome Danielle!
The prices are outrageous for food and all . One and done
Tip: take a photo of the map so that you can make the best use of your time.
Thanks for the tip!
Hoping for Denver Airport B-gates tour next Sunday! :)
I'll see what I can do :)
Thanks for your content! I’ll be skipping the fair
Silver fox over here
going to the fair next wednesday, is it required to have a in advance ticket, or can i just simply come and pay for admission up front? which one is better if not required
It’s better if you buy ahead of time. Sometimes they go over capacity on weekends
Yes.. buy your ticket ahead
Do they allow gimbals there
Not sure. I used the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to record this
Ah, Man!The Footsie-Wootsie is a Buck?! It was still 50cents like, last year, maybe?! Those things are kinda brutal, actually!
Yeah. That's inflation for you!
Park across the steet and walk save the $15 for a drink 😂
SHHHHHH 🤫 don’t tell everyone.
@@HeadNtheClouds we all aren't going to go at the same time 🤣🤣 plus almost all of OC knows that one but my bad ill delete it soon 😅
City Hall across the street is charging $15 for parking now too
Naw they tow
@@rezzination8395 i just did it yesterday they didn't tow me 🤣🤣🤣
The price of food is ridiculous! Very upsetting that I have to eat a sandwich in the parking lot before coming in & a drink . Going to many concerts there & is fun to walk around after. Only thin I can afford is a Blooming Onion & a Lemon Soft Serve cone
Thanks for the video. Now I know for sure it’s not worth my time to go there.
Do you know if parking at Orange Coast College is free on the weekends?
Not sure Davie.. I've always paid the $15 to park onsite
We parked there last week it cost 5 bucks to park at orange coast
what day was this?
Sunday
Cute
i wanna know your name ,what is your good name ?
you can easily spend $300 here within 2 hrs if youre not careful…dont bring your kids
Does anybody goes to this fair anymore
For sure... it tends to sell out on weekends
I do!
over price parking and entrance ticket.
The poor fools with 50 k salary can splurge
Stupid High Prices. I would like to know where people get the money to waste at a fair.
From working.
Prices are to high for what it is, fairs were supposed to be good family fun for a reasonable price, not so much anymore
