Hi Simon, your videography skills are admirable and the finds were intriguing, so glad that you've found a field that has potential, cheers to you !!!🥰👍👍🙏
The button at 18:30, could be a railwayman's tunic button from the 1890s. Similar ones say NBR (North British Railways) which covered central Scotland and Fife.
Special find Simon and one for the museum to see 🤩 . What a good day and great finds you had. Let’s hope that new permission brings lots more treasures 🤞
Thank you Pauline, yes, over the moon with this phenomenal relic. 🎉It is reported to the museum already so we will find out more about it , but we’ll need to wait quite a while 🤪🤗
Fantastic iron age fastener! The finds just keep coming!! Awesome, Simon! And, how wonderful that you'll be with your family in Spain for the holidays! 💖💖💖
The silver piece looks like a snake with three coils. The head is the triangle shape on the back. A snake with a triangular shaped head is usually poisonous. Well done Simon!
I love your videos, Simon. You always make me smile. I live in the southwestern USA and my husband was a rodeo cowboy in his youth. He loves Western movies and music so I'm sure he would recognize that music right away. I will test him. Congratulations on your excellent find. 🎉
Hi Simon, could your "D" , maybe be a tiny buckle? Your iron age silver is beautiful! And maybe a couple more times will uncover the rest of your soldier! haha...Have a great Holiday with your Family and Friends!! xx Cathy
Thank you Cathy, could be an option but there is like a tiny attachment in the back . A phenomenal silver, I will have some more digs before holidays. See you soon!☺️
Awesome finds Simon! Don’t go back to the Turkish barber for the haircut! John shared a picture with us back in the spring 😂 - Jimmy and Chell (your shirt makers)
Hi Simon ,i noticed your mushroom thing you called it ,100% its a boat rove ,or rivet for joining the planks together ,i dont know where you were ,but was it near water ?
@thespanishdetectorist I received my new nut and bolt from Garrett yesterday and the coil i repaired myself i just hope it holds i paid £180 so its not cheap. Cheers mi Amigo

@@thespanishdetectorist We both say it's the theme from the TV show The Big Valley, right?
@@SmittyLSi think is based in that theme, but is not that theme exactly 👏 good eye, or good ear 😅

Beautiful little silver relic ,agree that it looks ancient .The metal mushroom looks like a leather stud/rivet ,maybe horse tack .

Que bueno tio 🙌
Some nice finds Simon!
I used to live in Beniarres near Alcoi
Love the videos!
Oh muchas gracias! Yes that’s very sunny place 😎all the best!
The ring thing at 13:27 looks like the balance wheel of a pocket watch ?
Yes, I think so, thank you for the clarification!
The metal mushroom is probably a nail from a boat, wood bucket or similar
Yes, I think so, unusual for me . Thank you!
13:27 looks like a toy car steering wheel?
Yes I thought that too, but I think is a lost piece from a watch. Thank you!
Awesome finds Simon! Don’t go back to the Turkish barber for the haircut! John shared a picture with us back in the spring 😂 - Jimmy and Chell (your shirt makers)
Oh thank you! , No, can’t come back there, was a terrible experience and lasting for a time 🤪😂 All the best Jimmy and Chell!
On the end of the bottle stopper it looks like there might be a crown shape.
Yes, there is some kind of feature, not sure about it. A bit mystery find… thank you!
Those 'mushrooms' have got to be some kind of leather rivets.
Yes, could be this option too, it has a square bottom..thank you!☺️

Hi Allan, yes not really far from water . Yes I was guessing some type of nail…Mystery solved now for sure. Thank you for clarifying!
Ooo Simoon.. Hair is getting bigger ans bigger.. dont cut it for christmass...
We love you natural and hairy🎉🎉🎉🎉
😂😂 but I will need to fix it or I will be like a sheep . All the best for both of you!! 🙌
@thespanishdetectorist but sheeps are cute. Arent't they 🥰
👍👌💮
Thank you Ruth!
The three parts are from the mechanisem from a oillamp
The 3 circles of silver(?) Looks hand made and not really strong enough to be a clothing clasp. I'm thinking of a necklace clasp.
Very interesting, thank you for your suggestion. Well, the relic is reported to the museum already so will find out more 👍🤗
A find that at first looks good, then turns into trash is called a BAZINGA!
😂That must be a fusion from Portuguese
The silver part looks like one half of a coaching faster otter half is a hook
Thank you! Yes, and I think is trying to depict a snake as a whole piece
I've said it once and I'll say it again Simon you are the fuckin MAN mi Amigo
Muchas gracias amigo for your support! Hope you fixed that coil to find more treasures. Good luck James!👍
@thespanishdetectorist I received my new nut and bolt from Garrett yesterday and the coil i repaired myself i just hope it holds i paid £180 so its not cheap. Cheers mi Amigo
Lead wax seal?
Ah! Good suggestion! It Could be so would be great! Thank you
Looks like a weel from an oil lamp
BB could be boys brigade.
Thank you Shaun, ah yes could be another option!👍
The nail looks like a hobnail from a boot or maybe roman?
Thank you Mick, yes I think is some sort of nail, but not sure about age
