  • Hey yall! I decided to do a twist out using two Blue Magic products. Although I like the leave in conditioner and the grease I don't think the two do well to style my hair. I think this great makes for a good sealant. I purchased both products through Amazon.com

    You look, so lean and I love how skinny your neck is. I'm aiming to have a skinny neck like yours, plus, your skin is pretty. Okay, that's crazy! lmbo I'm so happy you mentioned, that, oils are not moisturizers. People say that all the time and it's not true. Water brings moisture and oils are not water based. Wow! You are taking me back to my childhood with the old memories and ass whoopings. That (original) green grease is super heavy and I don't use that one, anymore, but, it's super protective. I cant wait to get my ends trimmed, so they could look healthy like yours. Yup! You are definitely, greasy, but the results are still pretty. Great video!

    Idk how... but I blowdired my hair, and used the hair and scalp conditioner blue magic. At first, I was not feeling the softness but after 2 hrs...my big puffy puff was soft 😭. I didn’t even add water....so Im confused...
    I just wish there was a way/method to moisturize and blowdry without shrinkage...

  • @amixeblu
    @amixeblu 5 лет назад +3

    I think it's all about the amount you use. I use baby oil on my hair for an oil rinse (after shampoo and before conditioner) and it works great, but I only use about 10 drops max. for the last 8 inches of my hair (just the very tips of it).

    • @annettemint
      @annettemint  5 лет назад

      I used just a little bit purposely. I think it’s because of the density of my hair. I would only use it on my ends and for protective styling.

    Ass whippin" yes, particularly on wash day and combing and braiding. She would tell me that I did not have the luxury to be tender headed!!! Oh the days before detangler, I actually wanted my hair wet with the blue magic because it helped to detangle. But my hair was long and down my back.

    I know your twistout could have turned out so much better. I feel the same ay about Shea Butter on my hair for a twistout when used as a sealant. I don’t like the overly greasy or waxy feeling on the length of my hair. I still enjoyed watching you use it. The smell of Blue Magic reminds me of ass whoopings too!😂😭💙

  • @mswtaz94

    I think you just didn't have enough water on your hair. When I wash and twist with grease, the twists are tight. Even if I set with conditioner and grease, the twists are defined. Plus, your twists we very large.

    • @annettemint
      @annettemint  5 лет назад +2

    Girl, my mama had slender tin can that she kept my hair stuff in; along with the old colored cookie Tupperware: the green, yellow, orange one with the flower in the middle. MEMORIES!! I strayed away too for the same reasons of what you stated about the face becoming oily. Its hell just trying to find a grease that my hair won't soak up and it seems as if the Blue Magic works best! I've been wanting to try the Bergamot one on my tresses too but my hair LOVES ORS hair lotion -- it smells heavenly and I use a blend (that I concoct) that I know my hair likes from VIA naturals on my scalp after I shampoo and deep condition her. Have you tried the Palmer's Gro Therapy and the Coconut deep conditioning protein pack?
