Love your French Country decorating, it is absolutely beautiful. I love that you are not following the trend of the season designs and you are staying true to yourself. ❤
OMG yes!!!! I needed this. I live in Los Angeles and I haven't cleaned or had inspiration to fix up anything because I have been super stressed because of all that's been going on. Not writing this for sympathy or attention but this video is a much needed distraction and refocus to something positive.
From one Catholic to another; you are an inspiration to your faith, proudly having rosaries displayed throughout your videos. Thank you, love! ❤ Jenne (Jenny) Aka: Indy Nana from Indiana
When I get the " sick of winter feeling" I start putting decorative plants everywhere & slowly bring my real plants closer to the door so as soon as it's safe for them they can go out for a bit 😄. Your front living room reminds me of your Victorian I guess it's the chairs. I love the rug there. Love all your pillows especially the ones in the T.V. room. You have lost more weight you are quite then. You have always been thin but are looking really Really thin. Hope all is well hhealthier. Sorry about the fires in your state it's horrific. Hope the smoke stays away from you all. Take care thanks for the inspiration always love your cheery voice. You should have a decore show on T.V. 😊
I have to say, i like it when you are not obligated to go to work outside your home. I'm sure your children and pets love you being home. Great job with the decor.
I live in Northern Virginia, but just got back from a trip to Paradise Valley in Arizona so I totally understand why you would want to be decorating in this fashion. It was 61° there and flowers were blooming, and it was absolutely beautiful! It makes me want to bypass the rest of winter here and bring out all my spring decor!
I love all the floral touches you added. I have a large open space with my living, dinning and kitchen. I have the hardest time decorating without it feeling cluttered.
My continued thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in L.A.!🙏❤️ I love both trees, but I like the one to the left better.😊 I am still working on putting Christmas away, and then decorate for Valentine's Day!❤ I love all of your content! Your living room looks amazing, as always!❤ As always, thank you for sharing with us! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! GOD bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇲😊🌿
We all have the same goal. To make our houses feel like home. I say, surround yourself with things that make you feel happy. Who cares what's trending! :)
Lauren everything looks so pretty, fresh and inviting! I don’t blame you at all for starting spring decor. I would too if I wasn’t in the middle of a major snowy and cold winter. It’s nice to see the soft spring touches. Plates are fabulous!
I think if you switched out your drapes to maybe some sage green linen panels it would warm up the room and give you more of the look you are going for. I think all the white is what's throwing you off. A lot of your decor has a Ralph Lauren feel, very classic and traditional. That needs more warmth. You have such beautiful things I don't think you'd have to do much to achieve that look.
Agree with all of this. This is a beautiful room and Lauren has all the good basics but the space needs some color. The sage green throw/quilt on the chaise is a good example of what some color can do. As posted above by Karen, drapery panels in maybe a pale shade of sage on the windows would have a real impact. And maybe let the panels hang without knotting them? I would also think about changing the host chairs at the dining table - perhaps recovering them in an interesting fabric? The blue just doesn't seem to work. Of course, these are just my humble opinions/suggestions! Now, Lauren, why don't you come to my house and point out all the things I need to add/change! 😄
the rings and table napkins are wonderful!! I also love the way you decorated your mother's table!! what a sweet and kind act for her!! have a happy and healthy new year!!!
Love all of the lavender flowers, so pretty! That Olive tree you were having trouble with looked soooo much better when you had it on the floor, the tree trunk is long and when you put it in the concrete pot it made it look more like a palm tree. I can't even think about decorating for spring with all of this snow on the ground and the cold temps, not until probably March.
Hi Lauren, I’ve been following you for years and I feel the olive tree next to the dining room table would look better if you lowered it in the pot! I feel like it stands too tall I mean, if all else fails, you can always order the other one, but just to utilize that one. I think it just needs to be lowered down a little more. Lavender is my favorite color and scent, it looks lovely! Hi to fur babies!
I soooo loved the hints of purple / lavender flowers mixed with the greens pillows & blanket‼️💜💚 Your look is so relaxing and the French country design mixes beautifully with your new home. I love it 💜💚
I swear you were French in a past life. You have a natural gift when you use French decor. I remember the French table scape you did and it was so beautiful
Looks beautiful. I'm in the UK and those beautiful plates are from a prestigious pottery making company called Portmeirion and are designed and made in Wales, UK. Wonderful decor. Really enjoyed this new year refresh. Look forward to another inspirational decorating year with you. Thank you lovely, 💚💚💚💚💚💋
I live in Los Angeles Lauren, and honestly the stress has been so overwhelming here, I have been logging on to my favorite RUclipsrs to feel a bit better just for a few mins a day. Thanks for helping me.. :)
I love your springy decor! It helps me to look forward. Christmas time ending gets to be a bit of a downer for me. But moving forward and looking towards the future is a good step. Thank you!
Beautiful!! I did notice, I think your front door has a large gap at the bottom, may be part of the reason that room feels cold and drafty. Love how fresh everything looks!! I'm ready to deep clean our house as well.
Still have some pine garland and string lights up here. We're in the middle of our cold season and just had a snow day so it feels so cozy! Will probably wait till March to decorate for spring.
Hi Lauren, so happy you’re here again so soon, love watching your life … the decorations are fabulous, oh and wanted to say loving your long hair again, you are beautiful !
Perfect timing with your video today, Lauren😀 I'm late to the party because of travel but I'm finally taking down Christmas decor tomorrow and I'm a little sad about it. Now, thanks to you, I have a vision of spring decor and a clean house😍
I love how everything turned out. It’s calming and cozy. I live in the Midwest so after Christmas I just left out greenery to give it a winter vibe. Probably the beginning of march I will put my spring decorations out. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your next video.
It’s cold icy and snowing in Michigan so spring looks crazy but some green plants looks nice and then some Valentines decor for fun. Your home in Calif looks really inviting and wonderful.
I would like to also see, you putting together the aprons. I know you do so much for us already but, for me that would be such a treat. I love your recipes your decorating ideas. I especially respect how you limit showing your children on your channel. From little I’ve seen of your family, they look happy and very much loved. That comes from good parents who instilled good qualities in their children which is hard to find now. Love all your animals and the things you do. You are so very much appreciated. Thank you for what you do.
I love your videos. I always struggled with ideas after Christmas. Especially since I live in a cold state. I never know how to decorate so it's just simple and cozy over a holiday theme. Thanks for the ideas.
Everything looks comfy and gorgeous! If I lived where you do, I’d definitely be adding spring touches here and there. I love your bookcase. I just wanted to say that. As a lover of books and reading, I’d love to have that unit in my home. I’m sure you’ll be happier though with the doors. What is it you say….you do you. You actually have a way of making everything look lovely. I agree with you about the olive tree. That one behind the table will look great somewhere else in your home. A match to the one by the couch would be pleasing to the eyes. I am so looking forward to everything you have planned to do this year! You’re definitely a favorite of mine! ❤❤
I love how the living room turned out! I love that green color. I won’t be decorating for Spring for awhile, we still have a few months of winter here in PA! It’s been snowing and temperatures in the 20’s. I have winter decor out now, and still craving the cozy vibe. I love how your tablescape turned out.
I absolutely love this! I’m actually so obsessed with the florals look even in the winter because I feel like it’s a little more welcoming of warmth than the cold. I love up in Canada, so it’s still snowing but this has completely inspired me to look for more floral decorations to help warm up the house and bring on the spring a little earlier if I can ❤
Just wanted to say you’re mom would be so proud! You’re an inspiration and beautiful , thank you for motivating me - I would have never used French country and I realize that is so my style!
It's absolutely beautiful Lauren! I read the drape comments. I think the idea of green drapes would make a big difference. But most of all, decorate to please yourself. I usually decorate for Valentine's Day mid January and then go full spring in early to mid March. Because I live in Northwest Wisconsin, I'm cozy through February. You're so relaxed, I'm happy you have the ability to make good decisions about your career going forward. 💗☺️
Love the purple/greenery accents in this room!! It is such a soothing color! My favorite color! My bedroom is painted in a beautiful BM Aura soft medium/ depth lavender. I never want to leave my bedroom! Always enjoy your decorating and home! LOVE your new plates too! 🌺🍍🌺🍍🌺
I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE, GREEN, PURPLE , THE PLATES, EVERYTHING!!!!!! GREAT JOB DECORATING!!!!! We live in Fishers Indiana, we haven't had much snow the last few years but are making up for it now. We got 6 inches on Saturday, getting another 5 today. It's beautiful but it would have been nice if the first snow ❄️ had melted before this one started. I pray 🙏 everyone traveling gets to their destination safety. I love TJMAXX/HOMEGOODS!!!! They have such pretty items!!!! Thank you for sharing, I look forward to your next video!!!
Lauren, you need to come to New OrleAns for Mardi Gras...it adds an entire decorating season to bridge the gap between winter and spring. I would love to see your take on Mardi Gras decor. It's so much fun!
Beautiful front door decoration 🎉❤. Lauren get Ron to put a rubber or brush seal on bottom of the door to keep out drafts and crawlers. Hugs to all 😊🎉❤ x Rosie O 🏴
I like the asymmetry of the two different trees, because even two of the same trees in nature would be different. The issue is the base inside the pot for the tree in the corner of the dining room is too high. That tree needs to be about a foot shorter, then it will look better
Lauren, your home looks very calming and serene and I love your touches of spring even though it’s in the 20s here in Pennsylvania😂 we can make our homes whatever we want. Beautiful job.❤
Hi kitties and puppy. Nice colours, I’ve got ice pinks in my bedroom and red and silver in the lounge earth tones in the bathroom and red for the kitchen
Hi Lauren, Your home looks beautiful and bright, you're right not ready for spring..You're perfection with the decorating im always inspired by you Take care !! 🙏❤️
Happy new year, Lauren! So, I love that the trees are not the same, even so the room feels simetric. ❤ this deco turned out perfect! You always inspire me. Recently I moved to a new house, and I did "Laurend" the space 😂. Even the color of the walls. The trees inside, flowers. I have a book shelf in my living room, and it is crouded to, but I love that way. ❤ Kisses from Brasil. 🇧🇷
Lol living in Canada it is winter minus temperatures and 2 feet of snow so spring isn't coming for a long time! Probably early April is when I will bring out brighter touches. I don't decorate for Valentines or St Patrick's Day as we are retired and our children are out on their own and busy raising their children. I love your table it looks beautiful!
LOVE the refresh. Very clean neat look. I can’t understand the comments picking on the curtains. I’d say it all looks so lovely, coordinated and put together- perfect I would say. You have such a beautiful home and family. God bless.
You must live in an idyllic place. I can see the green out your window! This year I’m realizing how beautiful my area is even in winter. Everything is dead but the sleeping farm fields and rolling hills have so much geometric form that’s highlighted when a light snow lays upon them.
Beautifully done Lauren! I I say it is your home so what brings you joy. I am confused as to what I want to do. I am in Alabama but it has been really cold here and dreary. I am in my home pretty much all the time due to health issues and I don’t want to decorate in winter decor so I am thinking about going spring like too. 😊❤😊🌼
Love the refreshed look with the green and white. I agree with you on the olive trees. The one on the right side of the fireplace is not as nice as the one on the left. My favorite is the blue and white esthetic along with lots of white and lilac flowers. It’s still winter here in the Pacific Northwest but no snow yet. Love to see the kitties and Mr Pepe! He’s a very busy little man isn’t he! 💜
I live in SW Florida and it is hard to decorate for winter when temps are in the 60’s and even 70’s. So I know how you feel. I’m not ready for full on spring so for me it’s a hard time for decorating. I usually just go neutral. When the video said you were putting up trees I thought more Christmas trees but now I see they are olive! Lol.
I love it. I think it looks beautiful. It’s cozy and fresh. It doesn’t make you feel all down and depressed. I’m going to do mine the same way neutral flowers and greens. Thanks for the inspiration. I love your decorating and you’re cooking lol thanks so much for sharing.❤❤❤❤
I Absolutely 💕 Your Channel and all the different content Your Home is Beautiful Thank you for all the different ideas look forward to seeing your next video ❤
I adore the colors that you brought in! I personally don't like faux trees! I have a ficus that is 9 ft tall and 35 years old that I take out every spring and bring in every late fall! We have to trim it, and I hate it! It feels like it is crying out to me not to do that! and about 3 or4 years ago I got a money tree that just went gang busters on me and is now probably 6 ft! I know in the scheme of tree height, they are short, but they are inside all late fall and winter! I have 2 you tubers that I watch and you may like their content! I don't know that either of them actually do the asthetic that you are striving for, but they each in their own way do beautiful vignettes! the first is Deborah at the Painted South and the 2nd is Selena at Vintage Bombshell! loved the vid and thanks for sharing! xoxond yhave 2 yo
We're in the 30's here in Utah, so I'm still loving my winter home. But, your spring home is lovely. I adore all the flowers and greenery. The chaise adds such a cozy feel to your living room, and your new dishes are beautiful! 😍😍
I live in Indiana and it’s snowing today. I transition from Christmas to winter cozy decor right after New Year’s Day, then change to Spring decor in March even though we get snow in March, too. 😂. I totally love your style for this season where you live. It’s fresh and calming and lovely.
Untying the curtains would help bring warmth and coziness to that room as well.
Love all the green and textures
Love your French Country decorating, it is absolutely beautiful. I love that you are not following the trend of the season designs and you are staying true to yourself. ❤

Nice shot with the wreath Lauren!!!!
I am in love with this look. Very calm and beautiful. I am inspired to get something done at my house. It all looks so bare right now.
This is absolutely one of the best decors for this space that you have created! You can never go wrong with lots of green and white!

I am so sorry!!! My heart breaks for everyone there, praying for you all!!!
I think your room may be drafty because you need a new door sweep. You can see the light from outside at the bottom of the door
Yes I always notice the big gap. Ron needs to sort that out 😅🎉
The refresh is gorgeous, as usual! You always have a great sense of style!

I really like the different olive trees. They look really nice in the containers.

Love your videos. You said the room is drafty, I noticed your front door bottom threshold needs to be adjusted and that might help with the draft.
Lol.
Love those plates. Everything looks amazing. I took my Christmas stuff down and could not figure out what to do. Thanks for the inspiration. 😀
Looks amazing. ❤❤❤
I’m so ready for spring! 💐 Loving the spring decorating ❤
I Absolutely 💕 Your Channel and all the different content Your Home is Beautiful Thank you for all the different ideas look forward to seeing your next video ❤
Very calming 💚
I think the changes look great. Also the more minimal decor looks fabulous. The loves greens and creams this time of year.
Fresh, clean, happy! Great work!
I live in Indiana and it’s snowing today. I transition from Christmas to winter cozy decor right after New Year’s Day, then change to Spring decor in March even though we get snow in March, too. 😂. I totally love your style for this season where you live. It’s fresh and calming and lovely.
