Great tip! Go Blue!!
Yeah baby
Where do I launch out of and go first timer on fishing boat
Hit up Sportsmens direct for the latest reports. The dumping grounds at the south end of the lake is on fire right now though. Launch in the Detroit River
Sage advice ☝🏻
I want to go! Been 25 years since I have been perch fishing Lake St. Clair! Moved to Florida and have been back for a while. Great job!
Thanks a lot for watching! It should only keep getting better!
Awesome video!!! I’m hoping to get out this weekend if the weather cooperates. If not I’ll be jigging the river for walters 👍🤜🏻
Thanks for watching and good luck out there! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
We were out there on the windy day got my Engle cooler broke in for it great day going back Saturday
Good luck out there! I don’t mind the wind especially if the fish are biting! Thanks for watching!
Nice perch 🐟 good tip 👍 on the south end of lake Michigan we fish the clay flats in 50 to 60 ft of water for our perch it begins for us in mid November till April
Thank you! Thanks a lot for watching!!🤘🏼
Do the perch move in shallow as the water gets cooler? I’ve been fishing in 12 ft at the mile roads and haven’t caught a thing except goby’s. My boat can’t make it out to the shipping channel!
@@tommynaglich8661 yes. Late October and early November they will be up much tighter
Is this in an area where a pedal kayak can get to?
No really BUT as the water keeps cooling off you’ll be able to get on them as they move shallow. Thanks for watching
very nice!!! they are just getting going here..
Thanks YOOP I hope all is well up there brother!
Bondy baby!!!!! Yep I know what that is 😊. Last time I launched out in SCR…… I was jigging perch, perch, an more perch 🤣.
I hope all is well Tiger thanks for watching!
awesome watching! I'm so glad this came across my feed. Now I'm hooked like those nuggets you were on top of.
Thanks a lot for watching and have a great weekend! 🤘🏼
My brother and I were out last weekend for muskie. Also got our butts kicked. Zero. Casting all day. Bummer. Back at it asap. Great job on the perch!
I had a great Spring/Summer for Muskie but they have been tough this Fall so far. Definitely going to keep after it. Thanks for watching and good luck out there!🤘🏼
Thanks a lot for the tips!
@@YourRandomFix good luck out there!🤘🏼
Best spot for perch back in the 70s was Fisher Bay and Goose Bay, behind Dickenson Island.
Moved back to Michigan in 09, and took my boat into those bays, and they were devoid of the pencil reeds and lillypads that used to be real thick in there. They were so thick dad had to tilt the motor and cut the reeds off the lower unit on the old Evinrude.
Would be nice to see the vegetation return to the bays.
@@conradboykoii1170 I agree! Thanks a lot for watching I appreciate ya!
What do you have your camera mounted on?
It’s an Insta 360x4 camera so it films 360 degrees and when I edit the video I can change the angles. It’s mounted to a YakAttack panfish mount. Thanks for watching!
That's snelled hook on the bottom snap where the Sinker goes I've been doing it for years I learned from a charter captain on Saginaw Bay I thought it was my own little secret😅😊
@@edwardfulner9618 hey I don’t mind sharing secrets at the end of my videos for those that actually watch the whole thing! For that thank you for watching! I appreciate you!🤘🏼
Hunting gets even more folks off the water which I also love.
@@markthatcher5056 I agree! But on a lake like St. Clair that has the most registered boats per nautical mile (mainly pleasure boats) it will be nice to not have to battle them on weekends! Thanks for watching 🤘🏼
Perch Pounders FTW. Sportsmen's Direct carries them.
Cool tip with the snell hook. I've never tried that.
They’re the best! Thanks for watching!
Good stuff brother!
Thanks Joe! Appreciate ya brother 🤘🏼
Why are the pleasure boats called "tuna boats"?
@@davidpusdesris7078 well cuz they look like big tuna boats. Kind of the local angler lingo
Great video, and awesome advice to stop supporting super stores , buy local
Thanks a lot for watching bro! I can’t stress that enough. Stay out of the big box store whenever you can! Local shops need us
Got a Canadian license, no fish on the American side, 8 to 9 dollars a lb.
@@Mike81438 that’s unreal how much they’re charging for perch! Go poke around the dumping grounds
