It's strange how emotional I got watching this. I have watched these all at work in my tiny office and it gave me a sense of freedom. I was using your hike as my escape. This last video has motivate me to actually do something about it. I just finished planning a week backpacking trip through Yosemite. I may have to do it solo and it will take vacation time but it feels great knowing I can have my own adventure.
Your vids are fantastic, probably the best trail videos on you tube. The run time is perfect, not too long or short. Your gear info, evolution and reasoning has taught me lessons and helped me buy products and make decisions. Your footage is great,no wasted time with great appropriate sound track. Very efficient. Your knowledge, spiritual acknowledgment and friendliness are fantastic. The most complete videos out there. One of the only people I watch continuously all the way through. Thumbs up every time. Good for you and thanks for the knowledge 😊❤️🇺🇸🔥
Thank You Darwin, literally brought tears to my eyes to see you standing at the monument. I can't imagine the feeling of standing there after 4 months and 2600 miles. I hope you start new videos soon. Now all I have left is to watch Dixie finish the CDT, Congratulations.
Mr. Darwin. I'm a 45 year old do nothing. I stumbled onto your vids while searching reviews of Lone Peak 3.5's. After watching that, I decided to watch a few more of your vids. Then I got hooked on your PCT series. It has been one of the most random and inspirational things I've watched. I am not a hiker, never have been. I don't know if it will get me up and out on the trail for a through hike or simply motivate me to walk around the block, but it will get me up. Mentally, physically, emotionally, it will get me up. I'm inspired and moved to move. Your experience, though these videos have been borderline therapeutic. I appreciate your time, effort and grind on the trail. My best to you and Snuggles. I will be checking on you going forward. Get going...
Sean Early Haha, same here, I stumbled onto Darwin searching for the best way to pack a backpack. Happened to see his PCT videos, and fell in love with them.
Sean, I was the same way, but I had done a 9 day trip into the Sierras, JMT. I came back a changed man. I was a couch potato, computer dude who was getting lazy and chubby..... now, I go on hikes every weekend (small, a few miles), BUTTTTT - the escape into my own space. I agree that Darwin's videos are awesome and inspire.... but you gotta give it a try. Go to alltrails.com and see if you can find some trails near you... take it slow, easy at first. Find your stride. But yea dude, I applaud you.... get it going!!
A family friend of mine started running marathons in his late 40s. One day he decided to get off the couch and jog exactly 1 block and walk back. That is all it takes to get started!!! You will never regret moving your body even a little bit!
That was totally awesome!! Thank you so much for taking me along on your journey. I have anxiously awaited every one of your weekly installments along your way. I have been off work for the past year due to a back injury and I have anticipated every one of your videos. The scenery, effort and obvious joy of just being there has not been lost on me. While I am sure to miss you I am sure Snuggles will be happy to have you back! :) You have lifted my spirits and put many smiles on my face. Thanks again Darwin.
Congrats! From a PCT'r class of '82, thank you for taking me back. You've inspired me to strap on the pack and take off...this summer i got up in the mtns for a week. it's been too long! Your equipment vids have been extremely helpfull and I own much of the equipment you've talked about. I'm even contemplating rehiking the pct even though I'll be over 60 all due to watching you. Your professionalism is much appreciated. Thanks so much!..Eggman
Thank you for including us on your journey. Even if it's as an observer living his couch dreams through your long walk, you've made this middle-aged man a better person because of it. Again, thank you.
Awesome job. I am going to save this video for the end of my hike in '21. That letter Snuggles wrote you brought a tear to the eye and will be a motivator. Thank you for the wonderful videos, and I'm looking forward to more "Ask Darwin". Keeping doing you brother, and Thank You again Sir.
Just watched the whole PCT hike and have to admit: This last episode and the words your wife sent you for the last couple of miles made me spend some tears. This is so inspiring and authentic, got no other words. Thanks for sharing, thanks for letting us be part of this!
Snuggle’s closing words really struck a chord with me. When I was in my final week of the AT, so much of what she said was where my head was at. I tried my best to embrace it all, the suck, the amazing moments, the boredom. And when I touched that sign on Katahdin, for just a split second, I was utterly complete. I’m starting a new journey on the PCT this week and I can’t wait to see what it has in store for me. This series was so lovely to watch as I wait for my start date to approach. I can only imagine just how incredible it’s going to be.
Thanks for opportunity to be part of your PCT hike and amazing life adventure! In a very real sense I was hiking with you and living vicariously through your daily VLOGs, which were absolutely excellent in every respect. Well done!
Almost one year ago i badly injured my knee and i have to quit the sport that i love. I was kind of lost during some time thinking what i will do next, i'm only 33. And then i found your channel and your pct journey. Since then i found a new inspiration. I always loved walking, so from now on my goal is to thru hike st jacques de compstelle in europe. Your video are sooo inspiring. You have done what you dreamed. The letter of Snuggle is soo nice. You are a wonderful couple. Thanks hundred times from France. I wish you all the best and more!
Thank you Darwin, appreciate letting me tag along, so much I'd like to say, but the commentary at the end surpassed anything I could muster, inspiring, getting out there, little by little !
This is my first comment on RUclips after years of having this account and I have to say CONGRATULATIONS! I've been watching since you first started out on the PCT and it was inspiring to watch. I teared up a little as you stood on top of the US-CAN border because even though I have never met you in person, I can't help but feel you're a testament to human physical strength, mental fortitude, and humble attitude. Keep it up!
What an inspiration you have been. I'm heading north bound this February on a thru hike on the PCT. Your wisdom and knowledge of the trail will help lead the way.
Man I'm having a tough time finishing this one. I'm from Washington, and grew up hiking around Rainier, Snoqualmie Pass, Stevens Pass, and North Cascades. I moved to Ohio about a year and a half ago, and watching this episode is making me so homesick.
The only thing crazier than you hiking a trail for four months is the realization that I've been watching you hike a trail for 4 months, lol. Congrats man and thanks for sharing!
Big congratulations Darwin! Though weary, you still found the wherewithall to open to the beauty of Washington State and allow it to inspire and enhance your walk to the end. Such a blessing to watch your complete hike on youtube. Thanks for taking us all along with you. Now you can take those shoes off, put your feet up and do what you will.
Hi Darwin, thank you for including me on your epic journey. I really felt like I was there with you all along the way. The note read by snuggles? at the end was touching. EXCELLENT work from planning through execution.
Thank you for taking us along for the hike. Snuggles, the voice over at the end made me cry. So beautiful. Thank you both for being such an inspiration. Happy future trails. Love and Light from VA.
❤️ moved to tears when I heard the narrative (thought it was as Snuggles but saw your comment it was a friend Caron)! I, like many, have learned so much from your videos. Now retired with arthritic injuries in feet spine and hips I long to make a similar journey. Lightweight gear is mandatory! Even if it’s just day hikes for now. Others have suggested training my dog. You mentioned in a video best to leave pets at home. After working with him a bit on day trips I mostly agree. It’s a lot more work with him even though he is carrying half the load. Working on assembling the lightest gear possible and expanding my day hikes. I’ve heard of others with disabilities/physical challenges making these thru-hikes. Maybe this could be a future video topic. Until then, hope to see you on the trail!
Thank you for these PCT videos. Your stamina is unreal, Darwin. You can hop on a bycycle and do a Tour de France with no problems with those legs. To anyone who has hiked PCT's 2650 miles. Extraordinary people. Respect!
the scenery gets me every time - there's nothing like it here in Australia. Thanks for capturing so much of it in all the different conditions. I'll be heading on back to episode 1 and doing it all over again.Congratulations on completing the PCT, and thankyou Darwin!
Thank you for taking us along with you on the PCT. It was amazing. We'll miss watching you walk the trail as much as you'll miss waking it. Here's to the next one.
Words just don’t cut it my friend! But anyway, very well done and congratulations. Thank you so much for all the extra time and effort it must have taken to bring us your great video diary and I hope you added in all the extra miles it must have taken from setting up one shot with the camera to retrieving it again! Kind regards, Clive from across the pond.
As others have said already, your hike was an escape for us mere mortals who follow you and hope to get out there some day. You inspire us tremendously...thanks so much for sharing your great adventure. Take some rest time and savor the achievement. Kudos brother. You are.....THE MAN!
I just finished binge-watching all 21 episodes this past weekend. My wife was out of town and as I am hoping to do the PCT sometime in the future (when I retire which should be soon), I was searching RUclips for video's and came across yours. Absolutely loved them and was so inspired. I have sectioned hiked about 80 miles of the Oregon portion of the PCT the past couple of years, and having grown up in at the base of Mt Hood am familiar with a lot of the trail from Timberline to Cascade Locks. I will be mining as much information as I can from your website. I only began hiking and backpacking around 7 years ago at the age of 58 and I feel like I still have a lot to learn. Thanks so much for sharing your hike and giving me inspiration, and maybe a little trepidation, to reach for my goal.
Wonderful story Darwin. My wife and I were hiking the northern most section of the PCT (Rainy Pass to Canada and back) within days of your finishing. I wish we had met you on the trail to say thank you for your work, and for sharing your journey with us over the past few months. Well done!
First I want to say that I have watched all 21 episodes of this segment. Second this series of PCT episodes has been very inspirational. Coming from someone that has lived in the PNW my whole life, I've never been able to experience this side of it. I've know how beautiful Washington can be compared to the rest of the Country. Thank you for inspiring people to go out and explore their backyard. Hope you and Snuggles enjoy a lot of Zeros together. Cant wait for the next adventure. Thanks so Much Darwin
Nice video and congrats on finishing the PCT. Back in the late 60's - early 70s, my grandparents used to work at Holden Village during the summers. My grandmother was one of the cooks at the dining hall and my grandfather did all sorts of odd jobs including driving the old school bus shuttle back and forth between the lake and the village. He had some good tales about the marginal brakes on the old bus coming down the switchbacks into Lucerne!
I got tears in my eyeswhen you climbed up on the markers! Wonderful videos..so well filmed.....can’t wait to watch your next adventure. Snuggles words were beautiful!
Well done. Your channel helped get me to started with hiking this year. Now all I want to do is hike. Absolutely looking forward to your next adventure.
Hi Darwin, congratulations on completing the PCT. I have really enjoyed every minute of following you on your adventure. I look forward to seeing what your next adventure might bring.
I live on the other side of the world in a small country town in northern NSW Australia. I first heard about the PTC in 2017. Been studying it every week ever since. Now I have just finished watching every Episode of your amazing journey. Your camera work just got heaps better as time went on. The angles of the shots. The backgrounds. The foregrounds. The choice of music did your work wonders. You must have covered an extra hundred miles when setting up the camera, walking back, turning around and walking back past the camera. Then the editing. Brilliant effort. I just loved every video. It has inspired me to keep the dream alive and see it come to fruition. I will be turning 66 on trail in 2020. Now for the visa.
Wow amazing last video Darwin. Really love the video quality. The poem at the end with your flashback pics and videos - made me cry! So beautiful. Congrats! - Chica
Darwin, Thanks so much for sharing you journey with us. It was really great riding along with you. Your trek gave my wife and I something to look forward to each week. We are happy for you that you were able to have such an amazing experience. Thanks again sir!
Congrats! Glad you made it before the big fire closure near the terminus. Really interested to hear about the new gear that you swapped in. Looking forward to the gear video.
Amazing! I've watched every episode as if we were all walking beside you - that's special - thank you!!! Part of me had hoped a filmed act of you meeting up w/Snuggles - but then that is your life, not our life. Congrats and thanks again for taking us the whole way!
Just want to take the time to say thank you so much. My wife and I recently moved to Oregon, and while it’s not much, we recently completed three one night backpacking trips. We’ve seen Goat Rocks, Jefferson Park and Part of the Timberline trail. We constantly use your phrases like “embrace the suck” and are totally inspired by your journey. Hoping for some 2-3 night trips and seeing where we can go from there. Thanks again, and can’t wait to see what you do next!
....just binge watched all 21 episodes today, thank you for sharing such an amazing story with us, nothing short of inspirational. Getting up and out there is something I've been yearning for, for so long, watching you has given me what I needed to start. Thank you. Please keep the videos coming, wishing you and your nothing but the best.......
Wow! Thank you for making, editing and most of all taking me along, albeit virtually. If only I could turn back the hands of time to a younger, stronger woman, I would have loved to have taken such an adventure. Thank you again!
Totally amazing Darwin, thank you!!! Your videos are so very informative and inspiring. This series of videos has helped me prepare mentally and spiritually for my first JMT thru-hike this year with my son. Peace to you my friend.
Thanks for bringing me along, Darwin. Your “realness” truly comes through in these videos. It has been great to get to know Darwin, the thru-hiker, but even better to get to know Darwin, the man. Congrats my friend, you made it :)
Great effort Darwin. An excellently put together series of videos - easy to follow and easy listening. Great choice of music. Your stories help inspire me to keep hiking past my 73 years with the lessons you have taught us. Thankyou from Australia.
The end off your hikes always have an element of sadness mixed with what the future shall bring. As you said, its an honor to be allowed to hike these trails!
What a pleasure, Darwin! Watching these has been wonderful. Living vicariously through these videos inspired me to grab a pack and go out myself. Thank you! If you're ever back in the Evansville area, I'll send you a beer!
Hard to believe it is over. It's been a great time coming with you on your journey. Some amazing scenery. Especially these last miles. Thank you much. Thanks snuggles for her support. Fantastic job completing the PCT!!:-) Take care.
My wife and I are planning a 10 day hike of the Appalachian Trail because of you! Heck, after watching a few of your videos we've became obsessed with hiking. Your video production is beautiful, but it doesn't feel overdone. We've been excitedly waiting for each episode as they've come out!! I don't know what we'll do now, exception wait for another season of Darwin onthetrail. :) Thanks again for all the love you put into it.
Could you order the Pacific crest trail, Appalachian trail, and the continental divide trail in order from favorite to least favorite and pls don't say they are all great because I know that... But I just want to know your favorite based on scenery and views. I may try one when i'm older. LOVED the series thank you for filming.
I loved watching the Holden portion of this, I'm on staff there and arrived about a month after you passed through. It was awesome to have thru-hikers come through our community and share their trail stories.
Congrats on your finish. This old backpacker really looked forward to each episode. I did a double-take when you were shaking out your shoe, and then I realized your Dirty Girl gaiters didn't make it to the terminus. They put up quite the fight, though.
It's been great watching your adventure. I deployed to Afghanistan in March, and your hike has helped me stay connected to our big beautiful country from very far away. Thanks for sharing!
Wow...what an ending to an amazing journey! Thanks for taking the time and effort to allow us to be a part of it. There has been so many positive things said about you and your videos and I Ditto each one. A heartfelt thanks for sharing!!! 🙏 See you on the next one. 😃
Congrats , I' m glad my state was kind to you and you enjoyed your time in Washington. Hopefully you'll come back and enjoy other parts of our state. But doesn't taking the ferry take away the continuous footsteps on the PCT for completion??
Alot of people hike the trail with different goals in mind. Some hike for "Continuous Foot Path", some just "Hike from Mexico to Canada", and others hike "Every Available PCT Mile", which is what I set out to do. I hiked Every Mile of the PCT that was open for me to hike per the PCTA. Hike On, Darwin
Oh I thought everybody had to walk around all closers , my bad. Even though I can do my state , I would have skipped the Sierras because of lack of air at age 66. Yesterday was my niece Kim G (SOL) 10 anniversary of completing the PCT. Keep up the good work. Oh come back if you ever need a guide, my niece and her boyfriend work for Whitaker Mountaineering in Ashland.
What a source of entertainment and inspiration this series of videos have brought me during this confining time in our lives. Very happy i clicked play on that very first video and transported on this virtual hike of the PCT until the very end. Thank you so much for this!!!
Wow, I know it's been over 2 years now but I just caught this as I am getting back into hiking and was mesmerized. The word epic is used far too much, but a through hike of this magnitude truly meets that definition. I don't really watch much in way of TV or streaming but I just binged all the episode this weekend (had to get it in my own hike today!). Absolutely incredible - when you reached the Northern Terminus, I didn't want it to end and while I've been nothing more than a weekend day hiker, you've really got me thinking that maybe I could do an occaisional backpack. Being just a bit north of Seattle, I'm going to look for some hikes on the PCT segments to start and then see how it goes. As for a long through hike, I think that will likely remain out my league - maybe in my younger years, but I thank you for this amazing series and incredible inspiration.
MAZEL TOV (CONGRATULATIONS)!!! and all the glory and honor of having completed the PCT hike Darwin!!! Your videos are inspirational, well-produced, and entertaining. I followed your every move on this hike with these videos and was almost as excited as you to see you finally finish this amazing 2nd trail of the Triple Header, Hat Trick, or whatever you "Crazy Hike Trash" call doing the AT, PCT, and CDT. May your strength and vitality last you long in your years so that you can walk, run, and bicycle every inch of the Earth that makes you curious to see more of it. Be safe, stay strong, and keep the faith! P.S. Who wrote that poem at the end of this video? It's excellent and I'm sure one you can easily relate to.
Hello Darwin. If there were just an option to hit a bigger thumbs up, I’d select it. If I could just watch your journey one more time without the knowing, without the emotions, without the depressing thought your adventure has come to an end. If I could just experience it one more. I’d almost give anything for it. Thank you in allowing me to follow along. To watch your “normal” gear reviews and simple hikes to then watch this long trek. What a great time I’ve had. Thank you!! I really appreciate it.
Well done! Thank you for documenting your journey and experiences for us to live vicariously through you for these past months. It's great you let us share in the good and bad, and provided some much needed inspiration for so many.
Man, I've actually been dreading this day. I've watched every episode weekly from the beginning and am feeling lost knowing you've finished this journey. Thanks for taking us on this adventure mate!
I have enjoyed your videos since the AT. But this PCT series has been amazing. The cinematography and your narration along the way is nothing short or spectacular and inspiring. I feel lucky to have experienced this through your lens. THANK YOU!!!
Brother I’m so happy for you and your completion of the PCT. what an achievement!!! Thank you for taking the time to respond to my emails, be blessed my friend
So glad you stopped at Holden. You were there at a great time of year. It is a pretty amazing place. I lived there for over a year and have some wonderful friends from that time. Thanks for taking the journey for all of us viewers
Thank you Darwin for sharing such an awesome trip with us. I’ve watched every single video as they have popped up for view. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your endeavor and have lived vicariously through you. Enjoy your time at home with your wife. Thank you again!
My cousins hiked the trail back in the days before really portable video gear. The pictures they took were sweet... but the video you captured... man. I kept pausing the video and staring at the vistas throughout this series. Awe inspiring, glorious nature.
Wow, I enjoyed this whole series living it vicariously through you Darwin. Strangely emotional at the end of your journey man. Thanks for posting your weekly episodes. Can’t wait for more of these!
What a beautiful ending to a wonderful journey.... Thank you for sharing and taking us along..... I have enjoyed following your adventures for the past two years.... I hiked 500+ miles this year of the trail and enjoyed every painful second.... I plan to start next year, back where I stopped this year and add to my total.... Your videos inspire and entertain... Thank you again for allowing us to join you.... Be safe and I look forward to your future travels and journeys.... Cheers
Well... I never thought I'd cry on this last episode, but I did. And I'm proud about it. Since I'm already here, let me get this out of my chest. All this started last March, 2018. I am a nurse from the Philippines, and a friend invited me to go with her in a backpacking/camping/mountaineering trip. It didn't excite me, to tell thw truth. I was just there because i had nothing else to do that weekend. I was curious though. I've never done an overnight camping on the mountains, so I searched for some tips, and where could I find them but here, on RUclips. I saw your channel. Checked it out, and again, let me be honest here: LITERALLY, I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT ALMOST ALL THE THINGS YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT. NONE, WHATSOEVER. I did, however, enjoyed your trips and content, so I kept on watching until the very day of the trip. I got hooked. It was so much fun, away from civilization, nothing but friends and nature. I had no legitimate gear, i actually brought a blanket with me. It was useless. So, I continued to watxh your videos. I was very much enjoying them, especially this series. This was me, without realizing that for once, I found a passion. I couldn't stop thinking about next trips and plans, I actually managed to organize trips for my friends later this year. I was evolving. I had more and more gears, experience and my passion for hiking just kept growing. 6 months later, without a thought, I've already climbed 8 mountains, in my province alone. I never thought i would be here, tears falling down my face as i see you at the end of your journey. From the person who was aroused with curiosity and boredom, and with no experience, to a full fledged hiker. From simply watching your videos to pass time, to literally shedding a tear with a smile on my stupid face watching you end another delightful journey. It was you who inspired me. You inspired me to pursue another passion to the point that I actually. Made a RUclips channel just ao I can share my experiences with others and to be an inspiration as well. Darwin, from thw bottom of my heart, good sir, THANK YOU. I did, and still will, HIKE ON.
Yosemite is beautiful, blew my mind! I would love to go back.
I also watched the whole journey at work and used it as an escape. I feel you!
do it. It will be the best thing you have ever let yourself do.
I watched the entire series on my night shift. haha.
I watched most of these at work in 2 days.
Good for you and thanks for the knowledge 😊❤️🇺🇸🔥
Ill 2nd that
Third(ed). Always soooooo good!
Couldn't agree more!
Exactly
Very nice comment. Best thing I read today.
Thank You Darwin, literally brought tears to my eyes to see you standing at the monument. I can't imagine the feeling of standing there after 4 months and 2600 miles. I hope you start new videos soon. Now all I have left is to watch Dixie finish the CDT, Congratulations.
Thanks for coming along with me Pat! LOTS of New Videos on their way!
Hike On,
Darwin
I was crying too. So lovely.

Sean humans were designed to walk not be couch potatoes. Try a few small forest walks and you might get hooked
That was totally awesome!! Thank you so much for taking me along on your journey. I have anxiously awaited every one of your weekly installments along your way. Well what am I suppose to watch now???
Dixie is not done yet! Go to HomemadeWanderlust and see her through grizzly bear country.
I love Darwin’s content! Why would you come on here and troll his comments if you think his videos are boring?
It's because James is a hater and never hiked in his life how about you make videos hiking and then tell us how easy it is bud
wow.
Right!!?? Went by way too fast! 21 episodes, too short, LOL
The letter was actually Written & Read by a good friend of mine, Caron.
Hike On,
Darwin
It was still a fantastic sentimental message
The letter was such a beautiful piece of art!
Just watched the whole PCT hike and have to admit: This last episode and the words your wife sent you for the last couple of miles made me spend some tears. This is so inspiring and authentic, got no other words. Thanks for sharing, thanks for letting us be part of this!
Caron's lovely poem was the highlight of the entire PCT series.
It was truly an Amazing Piece of work. She sent that to me 3 Days before I finished. It means the world to me.
Hike On,
Darwin
Snuggle’s closing words really struck a chord with me. When I was in my final week of the AT, so much of what she said was where my head was at. I tried my best to embrace it all, the suck, the amazing moments, the boredom. And when I touched that sign on Katahdin, for just a split second, I was utterly complete. What a beautiful ending..... I loved her words.
Yes very beautiful Is this an original text?? If so many thumbs ups!
The Chubby Hiker was that Snuggles?
Lisa P Hikes I'm not sure.... but I think so. I think those two have an amazing relationship.
{{{LoVe}}}
truly
I’m transitioning and I’m so inspired by Darwin and the choices he has made to change who he is too. I hope my results are as good as his.
Love your attitude. :)
EXCELLENT work from planning through execution.
congrats! despite injuries you made pretty quick work of the PCT!!!
I tried...lol
Hike On,
Darwin
Respect!
The end of the trail is so bittersweet.
the scenery gets me every time - there's nothing like it here in Australia. Thanks for capturing so much of it in all the different conditions. I'll be heading on back to episode 1 and doing it all over again.Congratulations on completing the PCT, and thankyou Darwin!
Such an amazing journey to follow and I'm happy and sad to see it finalized. What an accomplishment! Thank you for taking us along with you.
Congrats and thank you for taking us along for the ride.
Absolutely Outstanding!! What an adventure and thank you for taking us along.
Wonderful story Darwin. My wife and I were hiking the northern most section of the PCT (Rainy Pass to Canada and back) within days of your finishing. I wish we had met you on the trail to say thank you for your work, and for sharing your journey with us over the past few months. Well done!
What an amazing journey! Thank you for taking us with you! I can't wait to see what's next. Maybe come back to Arizona and complete the AZT someday?
First I want to say that I have watched all 21 episodes of this segment. Second this series of PCT episodes has been very inspirational. Coming from someone that has lived in the PNW my whole life, I've never been able to experience this side of it. I've know how beautiful Washington can be compared to the rest of the Country. Thank you for inspiring people to go out and explore their backyard. Hope you and Snuggles enjoy a lot of Zeros together. Cant wait for the next adventure. Thanks so Much Darwin
Congrats on your achievements Darwin!!! Never missed a single video.
Congratulations! The whole series was amazing to watch. Thank you so much for all the amazing and inspiring videos!
Thanks You!
Hike On,
Darwin
I got tears in my eyeswhen you climbed up on the markers! Wonderful videos..so well filmed.....can’t wait to watch your next adventure. Snuggles words were beautiful!
Well done. Your channel helped get me to started with hiking this year. Now all I want to do is hike. Absolutely looking forward to your next adventure.
Congratulations. Someone should award you the Medal of Freedom. You and Snuggles have gone above and beyond in inspiring a lot of people.
Congrats! - Chica
Absolutely incredible. Thank you Darwin and all the support team for including us on your journey.
Congratulations from Taos! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Be safe!
Darwin,
Thanks so much for sharing you journey with us.
THANK YOU for four months of adventure by proxy!!!
Looking forward to your next adventure that we tag along with...
Be well,
Don
Congrats Darwin. Enjoyed every minute following you on the PCT. What's the next adventure?
Stay Tuned!
Hike On,
Darwin
High Five Darwin! Be sure to take care of that Pass Port!
How about something out of the box? I'd love to follow along on a trip down the Te Araroa Trail.
The Florida Trail!!!
....just binge watched all 21 episodes today, thank you for sharing such an amazing story with us, nothing short of inspirational. Getting up and out there is something I've been yearning for, for so long, watching you has given me what I needed to start. Thank you. Please keep the videos coming, wishing you and your nothing but the best.......
Well done. Thank you for sharing your journey with everyone. The videos have been amazing.
Wow! Thank you for making, editing and most of all taking me along, albeit virtually. If only I could turn back the hands of time to a younger, stronger woman, I would have loved to have taken such an adventure. Thank you again!
Congratulations Darwin, may your journey continue onto bigger experiences. You're an inspiration. ❤️🌳❤️🌳🤗🤗🌄🌄
Totally amazing Darwin, thank you!!! Your videos are so very informative and inspiring. This series of videos has helped me prepare mentally and spiritually for my first JMT thru-hike this year with my son. Peace to you my friend.
Awesome series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I subbed a few episodes back & gave this one a thumbs up. Well done.
Thanks for bringing me along, Darwin. Your “realness” truly comes through in these videos. It has been great to get to know Darwin, the thru-hiker, but even better to get to know Darwin, the man.
Congrats my friend, you made it :)
Gracias por los videos, ha sido un placer seguirte! great job!
Great effort Darwin. An excellently put together series of videos - easy to follow and easy listening. Great choice of music. Your stories help inspire me to keep hiking past my 73 years with the lessons you have taught us. Thankyou from Australia.
what an absolute stud. nice job! loved taking this journey with you
Thanks for coming along!
Hike On,
Darwin
The end off your hikes always have an element of sadness mixed with what the future shall bring. As you said, its an honor to be allowed to hike these trails!
Congratulation on your life time memory.
Thanks!
Hike On,
Darwin
What a pleasure, Darwin! Watching these has been wonderful. Living vicariously through these videos inspired me to grab a pack and go out myself. Thank you! If you're ever back in the Evansville area, I'll send you a beer!
Awesome! Thank you for all the Videos!
Hard to believe it is over.
It's been a great time coming with you on your journey.
Some amazing scenery. Especially these last miles.
Thank you much. Thanks snuggles for her support.
Fantastic job completing the PCT!!:-)
Take care.
Now we need the video of you getting the logo tattooed on you, that is the final closure!!
Thanks again for all the love you put into it.
Beautiful. Congratulations.
Thanks for taking us along, brother. It was truly a blast.
Congrats that WAS AWESOME 📸👍👍👍👍📸
Darwin the end was so emotional for me. I've only thru hiked a 550 mile hike but those words ring so true. Congrats on an incredible accomplishment
If that majestic beard could talk...
Congrats!
Hike On,
Darwin
The BEST is yet to come Regan... Stay Tuned!
Hike On,
Darwin
Darwin onthetrail looking forward to it!
Well done! Thank you for documenting your journey and experiences for us to live vicariously through you for these past months. It's great you let us share in the good and bad, and provided some much needed inspiration for so many.
Thanks for letting my wife and I come with you on this amazing journey via series of videos Darwin. Looking forward to the next adventure.
Darwin you are an absolute unit! Great series, loved every second
Man, I've actually been dreading this day. I've watched every episode weekly from the beginning and am feeling lost knowing you've finished this journey. Thanks for taking us on this adventure mate!
The end of a thru hike is always bitter sweet. Congratulations on this awesome accomplishment.
